No one was insulting Valentina. One guy asked what all the hype was about. That's it. And I responded, stating why the hype is justified. She's just about perfect on all measurable statistics in the porn game. But that's just MY opinion, and I don't get all bent out of shape if someone disagrees. Insults, you're right, are completely unnecessary. However, stating your personal preferences about how performers act (they are actors, right?) and appear in these productions is part of the biz. Both heaping praise, and constructive criticism should be treated in the same manner. But clearly, on this site, the vast majority of the time - they aren't. Anything short of heaping praise is often met with insulting, butthurt, protective behavior. Some restoring to threats or insults. It's a bummer, really. The problem is that the appeal of some people's own voices and their self-decreed inalienable right to say someone does nothing for them are too much to resist.
