"Step" may actually be more realistic. I'm not a biologist or psychologist, but I think that for most people there is an actual aversion that comes with the idea of having sex with your close biological relatives. I have just never seen my mother or my sisters in that way. Now imagine that one of my parents had remarried and now there's a teenage hottie living with us. All of that natural taboo would have been removed and I would have entered the land of temptations, either with my hot step mom or step sis. Maybe dad would have been tempted by his new step daughter. Most people never act on that temptation but it's what makes "step" scenarios hot.

I love vignettes and even features with far more talking and set-up between scenes. As a fan of B-films the sometimes awkward acting doesn't bother me, it can even be charming and add to the fun.
But in fact, at least in the 70s and 80s some of the performers were surprisingly good actors (Georgina Spelvin, Jessie St James, Annette Haven, Jamie Gillis, John Leslie, Paul Thomas, etc.). Rocco was also good and even several performers better known for gonzo have performed well when given the chance in a feature.
