Since you brought up FACIALS, I have a long list of things I hate related to this subject:

1. All the male talent in the industry who are incapable of producing a pop shot that is decent, easy to see. In the Vintage Era, Randy West was the "King of the Invisible Facials." In this time, Mark Wood gets the award, with many dribblers like him getting, for some reason that is beyond me, tons of work. These include Mr. Pete, Marcus London, Johnny Castle, Seth Gamble, and on and on. Why a studio would hire these dudes who shoot blanks is difficult to understand. It's a little like a construction company hiring a carpenter who doesn't own a hammer.

2. Bad camera angles that make it difficult, often impossible, for the viewer to see the facial...eg, the camera is on the floor pointing up, the camera is behind the girl's head, the camera is looking at the profile of the girl's face (every Digital Playground facial is filmed this way and each one is impossible to see), etc. The best camera angle for a facial has the camera slightly above the girl's face and pointed slightly down and directly into it. This way we get to see her reaction, her flinch, her smile, her disdain, whatever. The Peter North film series "Deep Throat" has tons of facials that are filmed the best way. Another good way to film a facial is on CastingCouch-X site, with the camera pointed down from the perspective of the guy's face looking down. Mason, the best director in porn, films great facials for Hard X.

3. Bad lighting... eg, the room is so dark the facial never has a chance of being seen, thus couples porn filmed for Deeper.com, Wicked, SweetSinner isn't very good for fans of facials. More often the room is too bright, the scene filmed against white walls with white couches, or outside in bright sunlight. Semen, which is a watery/milky colored liquid, simply blends into all this white and disappears.

4. Bad positioning of the girl's face...eg, the girl is laying on her back with her face upside down, the girl's face is bent back so that she is staring at the ceiling, every other position where she isn't looking into the camera.

5. Props that get in the way...eg, glasses, blindfolds, etc.

6. Other girls getting in the way... I hate BGG scenes because the girl of the two I prefer never seems to receive the facial

Great points! I agree with all you say.

Really miss Brandon Iron. He truly was "The Master of the Facial" -- that should be the epitaph written on his tombstone. He had a fantastic pop shot himself, but beyond that he knew how to film facial and swallow scenes better than just about anyone.
