The title of the thread says it all. After seeing all the buzz around the subject I decided to start this. List your choices here. I can see Riley Steele [Image not found DB] as Emma Frost aka White Queen
As much as I love Julia Ann, I can't agree. The main reason being Emma Frost is most of the time portrayed as being young. Late teens - mid twenties which Riley fits perfectly. Plus Riley has the look IMO. Its depends on the storylines you follow as well. God knows there are hundreds of them. *****The Dr. of Nasty*****

grover, really excellent pick of Indian Summer & Elektra. Too me, IMHO, I envision her as a good Spider-Woman (granted maybe not as the super busty version, but...) Edited by - BYOB_Kenobi on 2/19/2010 10:23:53 PM

grov, that's a deal. I almost forgot about India Summer - that's a hot ass picture of her too. I'll think of some more candidates tomorrow (I'll see if Sasha Grey can pull off a Silver Fox)
Ah see now thats why. (COMIC NERD ALERT)I get from the storylines from the past few years or so Emma isn't that young. I mean she once ran a school for young mutants once and was a teacher at Xavier's school once she joined the X-Men proper. Still, f we're skewing Emma younger, then you're good to go with Riley as the choice.. ----Dread----
back on topic. Not much of a "super" hero, since all she does is go after slashers aka supernatural psychopaths but As Cassie Hack of Hack/Slash fame: will be Stoya. ----Dread----
Now combine this with Julia Ann as Emma, boom threeway scene with some dood as Cyclops is set. I also like the London Keys as Jubilee suggestion. nice one. ----Dread----
^ Forget the dood, get Diamond Jackson as Storm and London Keyes as Jubilee and you've got yourself a deal! Oh BTW: Diamond Jackson as ... as ... Storm! Edited by - grover on 2/20/2010 3:04:23 PM
Amia Miley as Shadowcat is dead on. I was going to post that exact pair yesterday but ran out of time. Nice to see someone on the same wavelength. lol Misty Stone as Misty Knight = Priceless. *****The Dr. of Nasty*****
The reason pornstars work so well as superheroines is because superheroines are women with exaggerated proportions and looks in skintight outfits/costumes....Just like pornstars. If you try to do this same game with "mainstream" actresses it becomes much tougher to find women who can "fill out" the costumes and have the right look.

Although there's no denying this is true, I think they are both similar in that both have a high degree of fantasy involved in them, even if one is more overtly sexual than the other. Beauty/sex sells even in comics (i.e., not many men would probably be interested in comics featuring less attractive heroines). That being said, I'd like to see more less endowed female characters like Jean Grey & Sue Storm.
This thread is as good as -- or better than -- the other similar one that is going. Awesome stuff. In terms of one of the disagreements that I've seen here, I have to side with Dread in saying that Julia Ann would be a better choice than someone younger for the White Queen (Emma Frost). The younger version of Emma, I believe, was in her own series...which was kind of a historical series. From what I have seen, she is typically a cougar type. (Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, b/c I have been out of the comics game for the past couple of years)
Faye Reagan might also be able to play an "Ultimate X-Men" version of Jean Grey -- a younger version than in the primary Marvel line ... Or... If you want to go back in time a bit, she might be good as Rachel Summers -- the version of Phoenix who was in the original (? -- late 80s) Excalibur series.
No body for sure knows Emma's age. Like I said before, it all depends on the storyline/version you follow. I have seen her depicted as young and older in series. I only heard of her age being mentioned one time and she said she was 27 I believe. *****The Dr. of Nasty*****
This is where my thoughts went upon reading this thread. Porn starlets and comic book heroines both showcase exaggerated features of femininity. Not to mention their actions. Can't just be a good girl - you're saving the fucking world. Can't just be a good time girl - you're the greatest slut in the universe.
