Whoever it was on this thread that said Dee Williams was not attending, thank you for the fake news.
She was there most of the day signing. Asked her about her apparently cancelling as reported and she said that she never told anyone that she was not attending.

No behind-the-scenes AVN stories from anyone ?

Was hoping someone would have spoken up by now.

I'm sure there are a bunch of people who are interested.

Walking around on Thursday I saw Kimmy Granger & Casey Calvert.

Long lines were Abella Danger and Violet Myers.

Lots of girls signing for free, but also a lot more asking for crazy money. Some new girls saying that the show was requiring them to charge, some asking for $20-30 per autograph. And other saying that the6 don't sign autographs because they are not allowed to or because it is "weird "

Crowd to me seems smaller. Lot less Japanese than normal but one man from there told me that their economy is bad and many can't afford the international travel costs this year.

More later.

Treat fellow posters as neighbors. Please be respectful of each other and each other's threads. If what someone has posted angers you, wait until you calm down before you respond or simply don't respond. Think before posting.
If an autograph thread makes you so upset to act like this, you need some time off.

Thanks much big for getting the ball rolling. Interesting info !

I was wondering for anyone who might have an answer. An acquaintance of mine is at the convention but through the first two days has not seen hide nor hair of several ladies (who announced that they would be signing).....Chloe Amour, Vanna Bardot, Audrey Bitoni, Gizelle Blanco, Vivianne DeSilva, Cassie Del Isla, Emma Hix, Eliza Ibarra, Kay Lovely, Valentina Nappi, Kylie Page, & Ashlyn Peaks among them. Anyone have any info on this ?

Many of the girls you mentioned were at the show Wednesday and Thursday, some showed up today. But there were lots of no shows as always.

Brett Rossi walking the floor today. Lexi Belle showed up unannounced and signed.

Hello all.

I heard from my acquaintance/friend a short time ago. He is having a great time at AVN and actually met with Gizelle Blanco & Kylie Page tonight, so they are indeed signing in case there are any of their fans out there wondering.

Unfortunately, he has still not caught a single glimpse of any of the other girls I mentioned earlier (especially big name girls like Vanna Bardot, Kay Lovely, and Valentina Nappi. Wonder if these girls ended up not going after all) ? Anyone with info please post here.

What is this thing called "The White Party" I keep hearing being mentioned at AVN ?

Also, does anyone else have any of their experiences to share from the first 3 days of AVN ? Very interested.

Hookup Hotshot booth was the one I heard the most complaints about, The girls there liked saying "We are required by THE SHOW to charge $20 per signature" All could be talked down. Tommy King just refused to sign for most people saying "I don't do that"

Lulu Chu was her great self and probably pocketed the most money at the show. Sitting next to her watching was her roommate Kimmy Kimm who kept saying that show could not sign for under $20. She literally just watched Lulu pocket handfulls of cash while she made nothing.

Xxylana Marie "I don't sign peoples photos"

Gia Derza "I don't sign outside items" Would for some but then not for others.

Angel Gostosa "I don't sign, I think that is weird"

Talked to one old time security / escort man and he said "these new girls just have no clue on how to make money, they would rather be broke and miserable".

Then you see the veterans saying "Why would I charge"? or "just tip me"

I watched Jennifer White refuse to sign outside photos for some, but for others she would do so. Seemed like if she knew people for other shows she was more open to signing their items.

Other people may have had different experiences but those were mine.

Very interesting info, big. Thanks for providing. I apologize if coming off as being overzealous; it's just that I find the whole 4-day AVN process fascinating. I doubt I'll ever make it to any of these conventions myself, so the next best thing is to hear about other people's experiences (both good and bad).

Sounds like the range from "nice" girl to "not-so-nice" girl was all over the place, which kind of surprises me. I thought here were be a more common sense of decorum from the way the girls dressed to the way they acted to the amount they charged for signing. I know in past years the big thing I kept on hearing about was conditions being overly strict, limited kinds of carry-on bags, plus the non-allowance of many types of cameras. How did that go at AVN this year ?

I never knew that one particular booth could have dominance over another booth. I mean, where girls could set their own rules on what they charged, or where their "bouncers" (or whatever they're called") could have free reins to create havoc with an innocent fan who perhaps accidently overspent his welcome with one of the girls. Furthermore, for some girls to be wonderful to their fans and not have any problem with signing.....and others who made a big deal out of it and refused to sign (for whatever reason), the discrepancy is uncanny to me. I never realized there was that much lack of parity. And how some girls would sign for some fans and not for others, well that just mystifies me to no end. I would think it would be one way or the other, but never based on an individual biased decision.

The big question I always ask at the end of a convention is who were the most fun girls to be around, and who were the ones least fun to be around. Also, just how many girls ended up being M.I.A. from the festivities. What girls were not there who said they would be, and especially any top-name stars who didn't show ?

Please, anyone who attended any of the 4 days.....tell all !

Just landed back in NYC a little while ago. I never did the 4 day pass, I just pick one day and make it a full one. Usually Friday, as historically it's the biggest and busiest, so that's what I did this year.
My 2 cents if anyone's interested...
I definitely liked the layout, much easier to navigate and it felt a lot like the earlier ones back at the Sands. What I didn't like was the seeming lack of though and planning- there were no separate lines for general and vip. At noon they just started letting people in. When we went up for wristbands, the woman refused as we only had general admit tix and that didn't start till 1. Fair enough, but then why were throngs of other general admits being let in? We were told to go stand in a corner and she's give us bands at 1. Eventually one of the security guards asked why we weren't going in and brought us to another booth for bands. We ended up getting in little after 12:30. THERE WERE NO FRIGGIN BATHROOMS?! Gotta pee, you need to leave the event and reenter the casino. Again, I can live with that, EXCEPT... you guessed it. One security guard makes you get back on the general line and wait again with people first entering, only for another guard to walk by a few minutes later and say, "Oh you already have bands, you can come this way and go right in." I said then and there if I needed to go again no matter how bad I had to go I was just gonna hold it.
The usual clusterf*cks of people clogging lanes over... what? I can see when someone flashes their tits or dances or something, but there were whole crowds standing around watching interviews? Gawking at booths being set up? And, as always, what the hell can you possibly be talking about with her for 10-15 minutes? Get your auto or two, take a few shots, maybe chat a little, and MOVE ON!

As for the charging- it's becoming more and more the norm, so it's the reality of the show these days. But yeah I can't see how the show is "forcing" when some studios are not and have multiple people signing. I get the companies and girls are looking to make something, but big picture wise you're actually doing yourself a disservice. What better way to advertise yourself and build a following then by linking and interacting with hundreds of fans, giving hugs, signed pics, etc. (see- Blake Blossom) Gotta say, there were some girls I would have approached, but didn't. I like some of these girls, but I don't $20 for a pic like her. And even ones who were charging and I wouldn't have minded paying something didn't always have a flyer with prices, so again, I just kept going rather than avoid an awkward situation. And when you consider that my current fav, Alexis Tae, was not charging at all at Brazzers, it seemed hard to justify paying 10 or 20 to anyone given that. One other highlight, my Manadrin was never all that good to begin with and it's as rusty as a 100 year old pipe, but it was kind of fun to make a fool of myself and shoot the breeze with Nicole Doshi.

For me the biggest issue were the no shows. Demi Sutra posted that she got sick. Ana Foxx posted she wasn't coming due to family emergency. Ok, porn is fantasy, life is real. No complaints there. But several others just nothing. Went by the booth at the time posted on twitter, and nothing. I checked too if there was some "running late" or something post, but nope. I won't give names because I don't want to call anyone out, but yeah, if you decide to cancel, at least take the 10 seconds or so to post something so you don't have fans like myself continually circling back to your booth. One person I will mention though because I'm not knocking her- Willow Ryder was scheduled 12-2 according to twitter, and since we didn't get in till almost 1, I made her a priority to see first. Didn't see, not at the booth, nothing on twitter. Later on though, around 4-4:30, I'm on line for Cherry Kiss at Evil Angel and who walks by? Told my friend to hold my spot in the line, basically chased her down and took a few pics with her. She was polite, friendly, and she was saying she was running late because she was shooting some onlyfans content, and I wasn't the only one waiting on her, because she quickly gathered a crowd around her in that aisle so hey, I guess all's well that ends well. Also, not a fan of how studios staggered their signing schedules. Again, for someone like me who only goes on 1 day, for you to say we have ___ at our booth, but only on this day or that day... Or even for the girl, is it worth it to only be there 1 day or so?
Anyhow that's my rant. Starting a new job next week so not sure if I'll go next year.

Absolutely interested !! Thank You Pito. Hopefully other fans will step up to the plate and share their experiences here.

In direct reference to what you said, it greatly surprises me that the powers-that-be at AVN have a whole year to get ready for the next convention, but seem to have a severe lack of organization and sensible/logical way of doing things. Doesn't seem like it should be that difficult for them to figure things out. And being told different things from the security guards, how frustrating is that. I know that would have really ticked me off. And bathrooms, for crying out loud. You'd think the organizers could have at least gotten that straight. Why should something be so simple turn into such a fiasco ? Beats the heck out of me.

Fans clogging the aisles and general areas.....that would have made me nuts. As you said, MOVE ON and let the next person have a chance. Some girls charging nothing while other girls charging $20 a pop or more. That's just crazy to me. I never realized there was that much of a difference depending on the girl, the booth, her company, etc. I have previously inquired about the no-shows issue, asking posters here to reveal their names. Obviously I'm not saying family emergencies don't happen, but look how many of those we hear about every single year.

To everyone else who hasn't posted here yet who attended any day of the show, let's hear your story !

Its just me but I never heard anyone complain about the entrance. Clearly posted signs for industry people on one side and fans on the other. Small area where they checked people with bags but once you had your wristband you could use any of the lanes (industry of fans) to get in. Me and the people I knew never waited, just walked by and security saw the wristband and waived you thru. Even at noon, no more than 2-3 minutes to get in.

As for the bathrooms, 50 feet from the entrance. The event was in a temporary building (tent) so yes, no bathrooms. But they were VERY close, no need to go into the casino to take a piss.

My major complaint was food costs at resorts world Cheeseburger, fries and a coke $33 in the food court. Went to juniors soup and salad with a soda $28. Went into the Dawg House (sports bar) on Friday and was told to sit any where. Waitress came by and said that is was a $50 per person minimum and since I was by myself a t a 4 person table I would be charges a minimum of $200. I LEFT.

Juniors? We got the original one here in Brooklyn, and while I won't knock the cheesecake, we made sure to steer clear. After the show we ate at the fish and chips place in the food court. $18 and you only got 1 piece of fish. Kind of wanted to try that other booth that had the Peking duck burrito but $22 seemed steep.

As far as food I think the most bang for the buck we got was the bbq place at Ellis Island. The chicken and ribs combo was $21, already not bad, and the portion was way bigger than I was expecting.

Right next to Junior's we had breakfast Saturday at Suns out buns out. $15 for loco moco. Tasty enough but I wasn't full.

My friend who was at the show for all 4 days couldn't track down a slew of confirmed girls that he was looking for to sign his stuff. And he is a veteran with these conventions; knows what to do and where to look (not some inexperienced rookie).

Among them being Alexia Anders, Bad Bella, Reyna Belle, Brianna Bourbon, Elena Bunnz, Holly Day, Vivianne DeSilva, Karen Fisher, Marica Hase, Eliza Ibarra, Kenna James, Lacy Lennon, Coco Lovelock, Melanie Marie, Cece Mechta, Mellanie Monroe, Valentina Nappi, Alexa Payne, Lauren Phillips, Riley Reid, Chloe Rose, Aria Sloane, Skylar Snow, Babi Star, Riley Star, Jenna Starr, Courtney Taylor, Chloe Temple, Quinn Waters, Blair Williams, and Dee Williams.

Not saying they weren't there, but if they were he never saw them or was told they weren't signing.

Did anyone else who attended AVN run into any of these girls, or were there that many no-shows this year ?

WOW big.....Surprised you saw that many more girls than my friend did, and like I said he was there the whole time for all 4 days. What booths were Vivianne, Lauren, and Blair signing at ? He bent over backwards trying to find them.

Some other things my friend reported from AVN 2024.....

He had major issues with 4 or 5 girls who absolutely refused to sign his photos (he carried 5 or less for each). Not going to identify names here. None of them gave him any reason, and one even cursed him out from some encounter that happened last year. Crazy thing though, he didn't even visit this girl's booth last year. So he has no idea what that's all about. Why would girls treat their fans like that ? I mean, isn't this what these conventions are all about....fans meeting their favorite stars for 5 or less minutes and sharing a good time ? I just don't get it.

Also he said Saturday is basically a waste of time, especially for the last 2-3 hours. Most booths were empty because apparently the majority of girls were preparing themselves for the awards show that night. Unfortunately the admission charge was the same for 5 hours as it was for the first three days of 8 hours. Talk about being shortchanged.

It's a whole year away now, but for the first time in like 12 years he does not think he'll be going back again next year. All the costs rising.....from hotel to rental car to flights to restaurants to what the girls are charging now.....unfortunate.

I saw Marica Hase on Friday. She didn't start signing until later in the day, around 5:30 or 6, but she was nice as always.
Chloe Temple was on my to-do list also... such is life.

As for the autographs, I had the pleasure of being stuck behind 2 jams- one guy had Sera Ryder signing a stack, another guy had a book's worth for Cherry Kiss. I was wondering what the hell was taking so long, and so did the guy in front of me, but there was just print after print after print. In fairness, even though neither were charging, in both cases the guys threw them a tip.

I long since stopped getting autographs at these things, so I can't speak to anyone refusing or being rude about it.

I saw Marica Hase on Friday. She didn't start signing until later in the day, around 5:30 or 6, but she was nice as always.

Marica Hase is one of my friend's top 5 favorite girls, but he couldn't find her ANYWHERE for any of the 4 days. Same with Vivianne DeSilva, Eliza Ibarra, and Valentina Nappi.

As far as Sera Ryder goes, he politely asked her sign 3 or 4 photos he brought with him, but she DID charge. Very strange to me how some girls will a) sign for this person but not for someone else; b) not charge for this person but do charge for someone else. I will never understand the logic (or lack thereof) of the girls at these conventions.

Reyna Belle, Elena Bunnz, Vivianne DeSilva, Karen Fisher, Kenna James, Lacy Lennon, Coco Lovelock, Melanie Marie, Alexa Payne, Lauren Phillips and Dee Williams were all there.

In fact, I saw Reyna every day.
Vivianne, I kept running into either at AVN or at her agency. In fact, she told a new girl to do an interview with me.
Kenna, I had to help her find her booth where she was signing. I think that was Friday.
Alexa, I saw often. She was at her agency's gooth for most of the day.

It sounds like enough girls that mentioned this that it may indeed have been a guideline from AVN to charge for $20 an autograph. However, the old man is not their suitcase pimp and neither are you to question their business decisions. These new girls have much more avenues to make money today than they did 20 years ago. If they don't value hustling money for autographs, so be it.

I'll let Kimmy and Lulu know about your comments since they are my friends.

Demi was walking around the hotel and attended the Awards. She also signed at X3 the previous weekend so she probably was sick after doing that.

I have some funny stories behind the scenes that I could tell, but I wouldn't remain behind the scenes with the talent if I did.

However, one story I could tell was that Queenie Sateen had her hair done unusually for the AVN Awards on Saturday. Since I didn't shoot the red carpet, I didn't see it in the Brazzers after-party at a dark nightclub when I talked to her. Then I went to the pizzeria next door and sat across from her and still didn't notice it as I wolfed my slice down (Thanks Jeff@IAFD). When my visiting bartender friend came to the pizzeria, she didn't notice me because she was too busy staring at the creaming dick on Queenie's head. She was still cackling about it when I visited her bar yesterday.

Anyway, I don't participate in these threads much, because I am not an autograph hound or vendor. I photograph whoever is there to photograph, and there is not enough time to get everyone even within the four days. People were signing at staggered schedules with various commitments outside of the expo like shooting. During the middle of the first day, Austin King of Porn Crush approached me to cover the first day for his site. It changed who I approached since I normally do it in a laissez-faire manner but also how quick of a turnaround in editing and uploading the photos within 2 hours after the close of the show.

You can see the first day gallery here.

The girls were under no directive from the show to charge for autographs.

Tell them all you want. If you describe it correctly, Lulu will kknow excatly who you are talking about and her and I will have a good laugh the next time I see her

Brigitte B. Signed at Jules. nice as always charged nothing or very little depending ion the quantity.

Savannah Bond. Signed at "ThePlugTalk" for free and at Jules for a minimal price

Leah Goitti signed for free

Molly Little, would sign her promo, but refused most outside items. Just like last year

Xxlayna Marie. Signed at Jules. Would sign her promo but refused most outside items

Natasha Nice. Name says it all. Signed mostly for free

Jennifer White. Naughty America. Signed some outside items but mostly said she was not signing for dealers. If she knew you, you got your items signed. All for free.

I forgot a few booth locations. The aisles with 101, OC, Hussie etc. just all blended together after a while. And some girls I just did not care to approach.

Guess I still can't figure out the whole "sorry, we're not allowed to sign" or "sorry, I don't do that" monikers that seem to be emanating from many of the girls' mouths.

Isn't signing photos for their fans 90% of what these conventions are all about ?

The writing on the wall tells me that there may not be even any more conventions at all a few years from now. If prices keep going up for everything.....and the girls aren't going to sign anything.....what would be the point ?
