Yes, I was a huge fan of Slayed and remained a subscriber for many years, but once KGB started doing everything directly, it started going downhill. The industry may have got a boom a few years back when COVID happened and people were stuck at home. I hate to break it to you but B/G has always dominated the market as it accounts for about 60-70% of all global porn consumption, by contrast - G/G porn still only occupies about 10-15% of the viewership. That is not news, that was why there was so much excitement when Dan & Nica reinvigorated that habitually overlooked side of the market. It's no exaggeration to say GFF & SHV played a huge role in making lesbian porn relevant again after years of being neglected or largely obligatory.
Speaking for myself; I started my porn fan journey with the likes of the Bangbus early episodes, Up & Cummers, Dirty Debutantes with Ed Powers, Ben Dover, even a few Buttman titles. Discussing this on this thread won't really take you anywhere because a lot of people don't actually understand the BTS of how studios operate right now, and most importantly, the commercial aspect, which is the top priority when it comes to running a studio.
