We actually agree on something. It's interesting that a lot of these girls suddenly start to disappear shortly after getting a boob job. Obviously, it's not too PC around here to name names so I won't. But there are at least several girls I could name right off who got a boob job and virtually disappeared within months. And these were girls who were popular. Some of them are still kind of sort of around but you hardly ever hear of them. If they're still around, they don't get top billing like they did. Some people would say that they were simply "shot out" (the term I think is used) but some of them had pretty healthy careers for several years before they had a boob job and just basically vanished. Summary - A lot of girls don't get "shot out" in the porn business. A lot of them ruin their own careers by drastically changing what made them popular in the first place. ^Maybe you know this but is it possible that some of the girls that disapear after their surgery is in part because their career was already dying down and the implants was a way for them to start jump start it? I know that I've never been a huge fan of implants because too many girls get cup sizes that are so large that they actually overshadow what was a beautiful woman. I would think the same thing if the girl in question got huge lips or any other body part. I think that for the most part girls that get into the industry are already beautiful just the way they are and any changes they make to themselves is a crime against beauty.
I think it is purely a self esteem issue, I talked with one star of 4 months about why it was a bad idea to get implants, she didn't care, she just wanted bigger boobs, and now she says everyone treats her like a new person
I disagree. The ones I'm talking about were still very popular and were still appearing on covers when they got boob jobs. Then they just basically disappeared. They still appeared in a few movies here and there but they no longer got top billing and didn't show up on covers unless the boob job was concealed in some way. For example, the girl would be turned around and putting all the emphasis on her butt. If you didn't know this performer had a boob job, you wouldn't know it until you saw the movie. They frequently seem to purposely make boob jobs very ambiguous on the backs of box covers as well. It can be really hard to avoid them unless you research every performer and have a good memory. You can't drop your guard for an instant when you're shopping for porn or you'll be in boob job city. Some of the newer girls seem happy the way they are. I hope that trend continues.
^If that's the case then that is too bad for them unless the implants got them a lot more offers to strip. Otherwise the implants managed to kill their porn career before it's time.
^^ If one of the people you're talking about is Rebeca Linares, someone I know talked to her before she did it, and she said she was only getting booked for 2-3 scenes a month at that point. Also, I've heard that implants make girls more popular for feature dancing and escorting.

I don't like fake boobs, they look ugly as hell, especially with the surgery scars. ewww! That's why Jenna Haze, Aurora Snow, Sasha Grey, and Tori Black will always be my all time favorites, because they kept it natural. plus i don't think women with implants can win the POTY award.
1. Rebeca was just getting started, IMO. If she was not getting many bookings at the time, I seriously doubt it had anything to do with the size or shape of her natural boobs. I don't know a lot about the nuts and bolts of the industry but I would guess if a girl as hot as Rebeca wasn't getting booked it was due more to poor marketing and representation than anything else. Obviously, if you've been watching porn for awhile, you've seen plenty of girls with small natural boobs make a big splash. 2. Unfortunately, I think one of the biggest problems with porn is that too many people rely on it for their sole source of income. That pushes them to keep churning it out no matter what. And that's one of the reasons there is so much crappy porn that isn't worth anything more than a paycheck to anyone. Porn starlets (especially) should have more going on than porn on the income department. And I don't mean stripping and/or escorting. Everyone needs something reliable and dependable even if it doesn't pay much. 3. Having extra parts welded onto your body isn't going to appeal to a broad range of customers. A performer who does this is not looking at the big picture. It MIGHT pay more in the short term. Those customers who like fake boobs are always looking for something new. They will drop her and move on as soon as the next girl gets fake boobs. Without the fake boobs, she can appeal to anyone who likes porn. This should obviously work better over the long term.In that case, since so many of them have fake boobs, having naturals should make them EXCLUSIVE enough to attract a loyal following. This is a valid point (but, I'm afraid some will still find the need to flame you for expressing it). What I would say to the girls is, be very careful about the changes you make -- especially the "permanent" ones like ink and boob-jobs. Give a great deal of thought about what you do, and -- in all cases -- only get top-quality work done! Very few things ruin your look more than a bad/cheap boob-job. If you can't afford to do it right, don't do it until you can. FYI, I was out to the local strip-club this week, for the first time in over a year. I simply could not believe how much ink the girls are sporting these days. Too much is just too much. If you have a few quality tattoos, it can be attractive. Trying to cover every inch of your body with many cheap tattoos, not so much. (And, for the love of God, keep them off your face and boobs!)
^I think it's a generational thing because I went to a water park last year and the number of young girls and I mean 18 and under who sported more than one tattoo on their body outnumbered the ones without any and we aren't talking about a couple of little butterfiles here and there either. I was quite shocked because you have to be 18 in Canada to get a tattoo. The only exception is if you get a parents authorisation so that means that there are some serioulsy stupid parents in Canada because a tattoo is not a smart way for an underage child to express her individuality. At least in my book it isn't.
If guys could get dick enlargements in the way women can get breast augmentations, you can be sure that many would do so. I like boob jobs in many cases, although sometimes they don't turn out as planned. It will be interesting to see just how common they are in say ten or twenty years from now.
Because other than the people who complain about it on messageboards there's really nothing really proving it does. Some of the biggest pornstars in porn have had them. Movies that star girls with them are strong sellers. More and more pornstars end up getting them. Many of the ones that have them eventually get even bigger ones. Where are all the unhappy pornstars that say getting them was a mistake? If getting a boobjob is such a mistake wouldn't they all have caught on to it by now and stop doing after all these years? If being natural meant more fans then all the natural girls would be more popular than girls with implants. Is there any evidence backing that up when you take an unbiased look at the top girls in porn right now or over the years? The studio KICKASS has an all natural girls policy. If people hated boobjobs the way some people try to their best to make you believe KICKASS would be the top studio in the porn biz. Do some people dislike boobjobs? Yes, absolutely. Do pornstars lose some fans because they get a boob job? Yes. Do they lose enough fans to the point it ruins the girl's career? If it does it's a very small percentage if at as far as I can tell. I don't think it would be a secret if it did. The people who don't like boobjobs for whatever reason aren't content simply not liking them. They feel the need to convince others no one likes them and create rationalizations that girls that get them are making a huge mistake. They want people to believe that they as fans know what's better for the girls than the actual girls themselves who actually work in the business and talk and interact with people who know this stuff first hand and actually lived through it. They'd have you to believe that all those girls who've gotten boobjobs and are happy with them are somehow so dumb they don't know what's good for themselves or their career. I'm sure I've said this all before but after reading some of the comments here I felt the urge to repeat it.

You mean the way in which a woman can lose most or all of the sensation in their breasts? I wouldn't risk partial desensitization for a couple extra inches. Not even to be twice as big. What would be the point? I would think more women would be concerned about that but I can tell you I wouldn't even briefly consider it. As far as porno girls go, I'm not into implants personally but I just move on to watching different girls. If they're making more money or feel better about themselves more power to them. I don't understand the guys that feel a need to badger pornstars about the decisions they make in their career or personal life(implants of course could fall under either category). OK. Who knows this? A handful of porn fans. Do you see it printed on the front of every porn box? Do you think casual porn fans are ever gonna know which movies to buy/rent if they don't want fake boobs? How is a guy who grabs a couple of porn flicks to beat off to once a month supposed to know that? I would guess that even though the porn business has loyal customers, a lot of their profits comes from people who know almost nothing about the porn business. The first few times I rented porn flicks, I ended up with fake boobs every single time. How? Because it never even occurred to me that I needed to watch out for them. How was I supposed to know that if I didn't whip out a magnifying glass and look closely at the box covers, I'd be watching fake titties? The women looked real on the box cover. And yes. There is a certain taint that our society has now because people are so used to seeing them many people don't know the difference. That makes it OK? You'd be surprised how difficult it is to draw natural breasts. Breasts exist in three dimensions, and to recreate them in a two-dimensional drawing takes real skill.
^ It's hard to draw big natural breasts that look good/right. When you're drawing a big breasted woman they tend to look better with fuller, rounder breasts. Artists who draw big breasted women tend to try to give the woman in their drawing the type of cleavage that mostly only happens with bras that are a bit too tight or breasts that are full and more round. Big natural breasts tend to hang in a certain way that looks fine in real life but might look "droopy" in a drawing (unless that what they're going for). The natural hang of breasts work better if you're drawing a nude in a more realistic manner. If the woman is in clothes the more round breasts just look better and is easier to pull off. Wow...that was totally out of left field.
Actually either one of those conversations would seem a bit strange to be having. But I certainly have heard guys say things/complain about a girl's small breasts plenty of times before. I guess it depends on what you consider "popular" because one of the most "popular" cosmetic procedures is breast enhancement with millions of women getting it done every year. The difference is most of the women outside of porn who have it done aren't baring their bare breasts to the public or getting big implants that make it obvious for people to single them out. No big deal spotting a boobjob when they're shot in close-ups on film. It's another story when the breasts are covered. It only bothers me when certain girls do it, e.g. Jessie Rogers. And even then, I'm of the mind that it's her body and it's her career. But I can't think of one girl whose prospects were conclusively improved by a boobjob. Generally, it seems that the popular ones with boobjobs had them when they started. On the other hand, you've got girls like Melissa Lauren, Sativa Rose, and Rebeca Linares, whose plastic surgery had little meaningful impact. Most of the time, it's staving off the inevitable.

This is not working at all. Why? Because though I'm not an artist, I have tried my hand at drawing and know a little something about it. A good artist knows how to use shading to create a natural look. The boobs on most anime characters look exactly like fake boobs in porn. It is pretty obvious that most of the artists don't have a clue what real boobs look like. They probably believe fake boobs ARE real boobs.
^ Why wouldn't an artist know what real boobs look like? You think they don't have access to see real boobs like most everyone else? When most comicbook/anime/manga artists are drawing women they are mostly drawing idealized versions of women. That includes long legs, small waists and bigger/fuller breasts. Most (not all) big breasts in their natural state tend to sag and slope in a way that makes them look a bit strange/distracting in a drawing if the artist would draw them as they actually are. So most artist tend to draw them as more round and full because it's easier and looks less distracting. The rounder breasts also makes for better looking cleavage. This is also the way most people are most used to seeing real breasts in real life. Most of the breasts people see in real life are in bras. If you'll notice bras tend to lift breasts up and give them a more "round/fuller" look. This is the look most people are actually used to seeing and most women prefer. Even with big breasts a lot of sagging isn't something most (not all) women or men want to see.
most, if not all american industry comic artists study anatomy intensely. In fact I'll go as far and say that if you're a comic artist and CAN'T draw the human body you will not have a job for long. This is fact. Its a reason why Rob Liefeld no longer has a job at any of the big three comic companies. So they absolutely know what a woman's body is supposed to look like. The Japanese manga industry also intentionally over exaggerate the facial and body features. There's very few manga artists that have anatomically correct men AND women. I can name on one hand how many manga/anime's have correct anatomies. So please don't sit here and exclaim that these people don't know what real boobs look like, when they've studied the human body more than most of us here. Actually, average joes like natural breasts. As for porn, it takes no special effort at all to avoid fake tits. Natural now dominates. Also, some directors hate fake tits.
There have been porn stars who ruin their careers with boob jobs. Some get bad boob jobs. A number of porn stars have talked about this as part of their decision to not get implants, others in order to be careful to get the right doctor and make the right surgical choices.
But do not worry, boob jobs are here to stay, so if you truly feel comfortable with them, you can stop making things up.

I like and prefer natural boobs of all sizes. I certainly do not seek to buy porn of women with fake boobs but the are hard to avoid because the natural women sometimes shoot with the fakes. I almost cried when Jessa Rhodes got her's filled with silicone but at least I have a ton of older scenes to watch from when she WAS beautiful. Oh well, to each his or her own.
I love fake tits, but some girls take it too far IMO. Like they've got two watermelons under their top. I'm not going to name names but there's a few girls that come to mind.
