With all due respect for directors/performers, another key group in the industry is the consumers. I pity the marketer who thinks he knows better than the consumer.
I see no reason why anyone would take offense from the words 'slut', 'bitch', or 'whore'; same goes for the n-word. The 'inter' word is in a different class, since it implies the real existence of some imaginary line between the extremes in a continuous spectrum of colors.

Well in marketing we have to specify categories in movies such as Latin, Asian, Black, MILF, Cream pie etc....due to the flooded market the distributor has to know what sells so they don't stock up on something they will lose money on. Today they count on who's directing the title which company it's for and what category it falls under. If there weren't tons of garbage being put out by every tom, dick and jane who owns a camera then we wouldn't need to categorize anything. A flooded market means we have to label movies for what they are so the distribution companies can weed out what's hot and what's not. If there were only 20 titles a month being released instead of a few hundred it would be easy to sell anything with out a stigma attached to it but that's not the case, we have to sell our product and that means being specific on what we are pushing whether it be interracial, cream pie, latin etc...
Scene are usually more than one thing. A scene showing diverse skin-color might also show a Big-Cock, Big-Tits, a MILF, a Teen, and a Cream Pie all in the same scene.I do understand why the ocean of porn is sectioned into various categories, but the words used to name these categories aren't set in stone. Walton opposes the theory of Suspension of Disbelief, and writes that if an audience really believed what was happening in a performance then they would act as if the fiction was really happening--say, for example, a raging fire is depicted in a fiction (in this example, a movie). The audience, if they have truly suspended their disbelief, would believe that the fire is real, and they would flee the theater believing they are in danger. Since I agree with Walton, I agree with you that the consumer is not hating women by buying a fiction that degrades women.
Well, there are legal drugs like prescription drugs, alcohol like wine, beer and cognac. It a matter of taste is all I am getting at!

I don't think that what is being referred to as IR porn in and of itself is evil or that people who watch & enjoy it are necessarily racist or themselves stupid.
It apparently sells very well.
I do believe that porn is porn. I do not view it as some sort of social paradigm. I do not take it seriously.
I do feel that the concept of IR is stupid, however I also believe that the concept of race itself is stupid and unsupported in science (biology or genetics etc.).
It does strike me as a bit absurd that female pornstars, who for whatever reason, do not perform with African American males, are considered racist when this so-called genre is itself racist in nature.

Lets make it simple. No such thing as race, therefore there is no such thing as racism. However bigotry abounds.
How about we call a spade a spade. I like to think as porn is the last industry where we don't have to walk on eggshells to not offend people. I think liberal minded individuals try to ruin it for everyone else. Racism is a social construct. The attempt to validate racial stereotyping with science came afterwards. The failure of that attempt doesn't mean that racism automatically disappeared. It just means racists deny the science or find other reasons to validate what they want to believe.

From my point of view if people can get it out of there heads that that there is some validity to classifying people by race, perhaps the ugliness that goes along with such stereotyping may also disappear.
