Playboy, to her, is clearly not porn and I don't think she would have any difficulty doing scenes like Jennifer Connelly did in "Requiem for a Dream" or what Mila/Natalie did in Black Swan. She has also said that she will still be doing material for her website but that might mean photo shoots, solo teases and possibly even g/g. Softer-core stuff without the hardcore gonzo edge she was so good at. I also have to say I was very impressed by the scope and professionalism of her recent Playboy promo swing through NYC. If not quite Lady Gagaesque in its intensity Bree still hit up many of the key entertainment outlets. About the only thing she missed was an appearance with fellow Hoosier David Letterman. The promo people behind did a good job. I think this is a list of most of the promo she did from Wednesday to Saturday: A hour long Howard Stern interview. A major segment on a network morning show is a big deal. The GMA link was posted up thread. That same interview aired in an extended version on Nightline and a part was spoofed by Jimmy Kimmel. When late-night talk shows can spoof you without much setup then you know you have reached a certain level of celebrity. A couple of major local NYC (the biggest market) TV interviews. The Good Day New York Morning Show on Fox and New York Live early evening news on NBC. They also managed to squeeze in almost all the big syndicated and cable entertainment shows - Extra with the interview at the bottom; Access Hollywood with three interview segments at the side; Showbiz Tonight on HLN where she handled a hostile interviewer quite easily; and Inside Edition. The fact that she can get big segments on these mainstream shows can only help her name recognition. In addition to Howard Stern she also did several other radio shows for Sirius/XM. Covino & Rich with her segment starting aroound the 1:41 mark. Larry Flick's Morning Jolt which is aimed at LGBT listeners. If Bree wants to have a mainstream career than being known in the LGBT community can only aid her transition. Today she was on The Hollywood Shuffle with @DJWhooKid aimed at more of a hip-hop demo. Quite the media blitz and in my opinion she handled herself well and was a credit to the adult industry. Finally, before her NYC media promo tour, on Monday she cohosted the morning show at a local Fort Wayne radio station and made this bit of gossip news. In the Howard interview she mentioned that Charlie Sheen is not her most famous hook-up and the likely suspect here might be one of Sean Penn, Mel Gibson, Denzel Washington, James Cameron or Tom Hanks. anyone of of whom might be able to give her mainstream career a helping hand behind the scenes. How many of them, however, have been on the cover's of People & Playboy, on network morning shows, network news magazines, nationally sydicated entertainment shows, national radio shows and have 250k followers on Twitter. If producers see that she can bring attention to their projects, at the same cost as using some struggling unknown, then they might hire her for that reason alone. Or, as she said on her latest Howard Stern interview, she would be willing to have sex with the producer. Shamelessness is valuable asset in making a go of it in Hollywood. Click to expand I think there is a huge difference between getting their projects attention and causing someone to shell out $12 to see a film. Maybe a bit part in a TV movie or an Indy flick no one will ever see but I would think that's about it. Her porn fans aren't interested in seeing her with her clothes on and the vast majority of casual observers due to the Sheen thing will go back to indifference about her as the next person's media circus rolls into town. Look how quickly the general public's interest in Kacey Jordan ran its course. Bree has 247,000 twitter followers but went from about 90,000 to 235,000 in the couple of months the Sheen thing ran. In the 3-4 months since then, only another 12,000. Think about Sasha Grey. A strong if not a stronger porn following, equally if not more attractive, much nastier scenes, better spoken and much more of an interesting interview, real heat from the Girfriend Experience movie. She's been trying to crossover for a few years and while she's done a few things, she's not exactly beating out Natalie Portman or Jennifer Anniston for roles. Good luck to Bree...keep getting those club hosting gigs, guest shots on Stern and odds and ends here and there but she's dreaming if she thinks there is much of a future for her in mainstream films. There is a huge difference between Bree Olson and the Kacey Jordans/Capri Andersons of the world. Just this last week, more than three months since she left Charlie, she was able to get a big mainstream promo campaign. I think Bree has shown a realistic view of a possible mainstream career. She does not seem to expect any type of big mainstream movie roles but is looking at small guest spots or a minor recurring role on cable TV shows. In which case a shows producer might bring her in for a guest spot on a three episode story arc and try and use her modest fame to promote their show. Even K-Fed could get a guest spot on CSI and a reality show and he has vastly less to offer than Bree does in terms of drive and talent. More likely is getting a reality type show that would last a few years or getting work in sex comedies, horror flicks Cinemax type movies. [Link]

If you look at the promo that recent celebrity covergirls generated you will find that Bree Olson's was in the upper echelon. The key point is that she was able to leverage her Playboy cover and Sheen connection into higher impact promo venues - major network time, extended segments of several minutes in length, etc. The same level of promo or more: August 2011 - Bree Olson - Lots of coverage related to the Charlie Sheen situation. July 2011 - Krystal Harris - lots of coverage related to her Hef marriage and runaway bride situation. May 2011 - Karina Smirnoff - lots of coverage related to her being on one of the highest rated TV shows and speculation that she would be fired for doing the layout. Lots less coverage: June 2011 - Elizabeth Jagger - Neopotism did not seem to generate much coverage which seemed to be the case with a quick Google search. April 2011 - Taryn Manning - A minor role on a network show with no big past success leads to little coverage which seems correct with a quick Google search. January 2011 - Pamela Anderson - A well deserved cover for a huge Playboy legacy but again not much of a high impact promo campaign because there was no news value. Looking back before this year, in October 2011, Sasha Grey had the cover but I did not realize till now that it was a dual cover with Playmate Kimberly Phillips on half the covers. I do not seem to remember the same level of coverage, major network time, etc. and again a check of Google seems to confirm this. Its not that she has not gotten major media attention but much of it was unrelated to her Playboy appearance. The Playboy PR staff can only do so much and it takes the media being interested for external reasons to generate the type of campaign we saw last week. She's no Jerry Springer person, that's for sure. Very polished. There was no side-stepping or embarrassment in the way she talked. Maybe some lying and omitting about the presence of drugs, though the end result was she came off as a rational person navigating a crazy situation. It was different from what we usually get from scandal people. You know, when they try to smile their way through it. She was smiling, but untarnished by guilt in a way that probably improved lots of people's opinion about her. It was like she was the adult in the room, there to reassure the childlike interviewer and all of us at home, wisely telling us to calm down. Good PR work. Don't remember Ted Koppel ever interviewing porn folks back when he was running the show. News is changing. I mean, if there had been a big flaming porn-related story like this in the 90s, Ted would have devoted some time to it after a few days, but back then I don't think this story would have ever flamed up into the bonfire it's become in our current news media. It would have stayed in the tabloids, with maybe a day or two of coverage on ET. [Link]

She has said that she never saw him take drugs or drink when she was living with him. She actually was not living with him until February 21st which was after he was hospitalized following the "banging 7 gram rocks" bender with Kacey Jordan, Melanie Rios, Natty and others but not Bree who was back in Indiana. After he got out of the hospital was when Warner Bros./CBS insisted he go to rehab and CS sidestepped them by claiming that he was doing home based rehab at self-proclaimed Sober Valley Lodge. CS did take drug tests for the media, during this time, and for the courts in his child custody case, so Bree may indeed be telling the truth about what she saw after moving in with him. Many people thought CS must still be on drugs given his crazy rants but others, including Dr. Drew, suggested he was suffering from hypomania that can affect addicts going cold turkey. Looking back on these events it almost seems as if CS's behavior was much better when Bree was around. For example Bree left CS in Vegas after the AVN's to go to Cabo but CS stayed to continue to party in Vegas. This is when the most excessive partying was reported by the tabloids and when he was late for his on-set call back in LA. She was not with him for a few weeks after the AVN's as she was in Cabo, Texas, NYC, Fort Wayne and hosting a radio event in St. Louis. In March Bree left Charlie for several days to go back to Indiana for her DUI arraignment. It was during this time period that CS did his really crazy U-Stream's of Sheen's Korner, when he went to Live Nation for meetings, waved the machete on the roof and most stupidly of all, signed on with Live Nation for his tour. As strange as it may seem, Bree's claim that she tried to be a sobering influence on CS seems to be backed up by some circumstantial evidence. [Link]

It might be the second to last time she ever does it as she is only contracted to do one more feature dance set at Penthouse in Houston on September 23, 24, & 25. As to the show, what I felt is that pictures and video to not do Bree justice as in person she is even more gorgeous. There were some nice girls working at Blush but they were a magnitude lower in terms of hotness. Bree does not so much feature dance as work the crowd like the most skilled of politicians. She was great at making eye contact, singling out people in the crowd for attention, pressing the flesh and working hard to establish a connection to the crowd. She paid particular attention to the women in the crowd and the handicapped. When meeting people individually Bree seemed to give the impression of devoting 100% of her attention to the person she was with, remember details of past interactions with that person, and then switching her full attention to the next person. In person she comes across as a genuine sweetheart and you can see why she has been so successful as she has some of that X-Factor that stars need to have. *A reputation for fufilling your committments is a valuable asset for any pornstar or mainstream performer. As I mentioned she displayed qualities that you see in the best politicians and top sales people in being able to focus on the person in front of them and make them feel they were the center of attention. Bree has departed her hometown of Fort Wayne and relocated in LA in order to pursue her dreams of a mainstream career. Based on her twitter, in addition to the geographic change, she has made major life-changes. Bree has become celibate and quit smoking. She announced that she has gone without sex for a week which, from her tweets, might be the longest she has done so in a long time. More seriously she is also trying to quit smoking. Let's hope that if she has to break the no-sex or no-cigs streak that she chooses the former rather than the latter. Bree guested on Loveline with Psycho Mike and Dr. Drew earlier this week. She also started a Twitter romance that got some attention in the NYC media/hipster crowd. Bree showed up at Jackie Joy's birthday party showing her support for one of Foxxx's girls. Plus she found time to hang out at the pool with her best friend Arianna (aka Veronique Vega). Playboy must be rolling out Bree's cover spread to their foreign additions as she is starting to do promo outside of the USA. There was a radio interview for a Spanish station. She also did an interview with Australia's most popular TV morning news show. A cute story from the NY Observer's BetaBeat column about Bree connecting with a NY travel writer during Irene. Finally of note is that she added this casting agency to her Twitter followings. Maybe she is going the reality TV route. [Link]

Twitter searches are actually pretty easy and these days almost everything is posted there. all you need to do is copy and save the links each week. It does not take very long. This week Bree Olson gave a nice interview with @OpTicMiDNiTE who is the Gaming Director for the Optic Gaming clan. They connected via Twitter which was an interesting courtship to watch. Not being an online gaming enthusiast I had no idea there were these big professional gaming clans where people actually make a living creating YouTube videos of CoD game-play. It is a good interview in that it does not really talk much about Charlie Sheen. Bree mentions that she just got back from shooting a bit for E! for what sounds like a 2011 entertainment retrospective show. At the 8 minute mark Bree talks about the porn business and what separates a top end pornstar from the large majority of performers. It seems, as with life, 90% of success is just showing up, in this case, on-time. Maybe Chris at Foxxxmodeling is trying to get Bree to mentor his young talent in the ways of success. There might be a few scenes she has shot that have yet to be released. She has also said she will be continuing to release new material exclusively for her website but it is unclear if that is just going to be previously shot material. She has hinted that she will be doing some new stuff for her website but whether that is "porn" porn is unclear. Bree's definition of making porn might be similar to Bill Clinton's definition of having sex. Right now she is working on getting mainstream roles and has a part in an indie short filmed lined up and today she was doing some voiceover work. She's shot a couple of local Fort Wayne TV commercials. She is doing hosting gigs at clubs with her next one being this Friday in Ocean City, MD at PartyBlock for Delmarva Bike Week. She's also still featuring dancing, which no doubt helps pay the bills, with her next gig in Houston September 22-24 at the Penthouse Club ETA: There is also a Bree scene in the recently released porn blockbuster "Killer Bodies". The first from the Matty P Radio Happy Hour which begins at the fifteen minute mark. The second was with Radio Freaks and begins around the 1:08:00 mark. It will be on the main page for a few more days then moved to archives. In the Matty P interview they discuss her upcoming feature dance gig at The Penthouse Club in Houston from September 22-24. From what she says this might be her last feature dance gig in awhile and possibly ever if her mainstream career has any success. It was contracted for before she decided to try mainstream full-time and she is meeting all her previous commitments. She puts on quite a show so if your in the Houston area I would recommend checking it out. For those in the Atlantic City area they are throwing her a 25th birthday party at the Diving Horse in AC on October 6th. This looks to be more of a hosting gig than a feature dance event but you never know what sort of shenanigans might occur. That little article mentions she will be coming to the event form Japan but there have been no other reports of her going to Japan or what she might be doing there. If she is going to Japan it might be to make some public appearances or shoot content for her website (or both). No clue what they mean about flying in on a private jet with an "unknown" companion. It could be Charlie Sheen there to help her celebrate her birthday since they still keep in touch or someone else like her new travel writer, web entrepreneur beau. I think she was just tired of all the tweets she gets, everyday, assuming she is still active. If you listen to the interviews I posted on Sept. 18th she discusses her decision to host the AVN Awards. She states that she is proud of her work in the biz and has nothing bad to say about it. She felt the AVN Awards word give her a chance to thank both her fans and her colleagues at porns most high profile event. Plus it is a nice payday I imagine. Bree is still meeting all her contractual commitments for feature dancing and to maintain her website for those who have paid for it. Her website contract with Blazing Bucks runs through 2013 and she has pledged to provide it with regular content updates. How hardcore these updates are remains to be seen but as I have said earlier, Bree's definition of what constitutes porn is like Bill Clinton's definition of sex. Saying that Bree Olson is not a real porn star who "pisses all over it" is ludicrous. She worked hard in the biz for almost six years and she was in over 170 scenes. Scenes which ran the gamut of almost every porn style and genre. Her body of work stacks up in every possible way to the scenes we have from Jenna Haze, Belladonna, and Bobbi Starr. I think the last scene she shot was for Jenna Haze. The idea that she used Charlie Sheen to get famous is ridiculous. Charlie was flying into Fort Wayne to visit with her back in 2010 and she kept it on the down-low. Charlie is the one who asked her to move in with him. When she moved in it was before the epic meltdown. Unless Bree was a psychic she had no way of knowing that, a few weeks after moving in, she would be part of one of the greatest media shit-storms ever. She is taking advantage of the higher profile the Sheen saga gave her but she clearly did not expect it beforehand. She handled those questions related to Sheen well without being to crass about it. Chris Caine and her new mainstream appearances agent, Ben Brucato, have been with her this week in NYC and were with her when she was hosting up at the Mohegan Sun Casino. Based on his Twitter they are also going to places like the Statue of Liberty. She is still doing things like feature dancing which I imagine Chris still books. Bree has said, in her recent interviews, that she has also signed with an agent for mainstream roles. Chris might be a good agent for adult but if she is to have any hope of a mainstream career she needs a good Hollywood agent.
I think Bree's idea of not doing porn is different than most peoples. Playboy, to her, is clearly not porn and I don't think she would have any difficulty doing scenes like Jennifer Connelly did in "Requiem for a Dream" or what Mila/Natalie did in Black Swan. She has also said that she will still be doing material for her website but that might mean photo shoots, solo teases and possibly even g/g. Softer-core stuff without the hardcore gonzo edge she was so good at.
I also have to say I was very impressed by the scope and professionalism of her recent Playboy promo swing through NYC. If not quite Lady Gagaesque in its intensity Bree still hit up many of the key entertainment outlets. About the only thing she missed was an appearance with fellow Hoosier David Letterman. The promo people behind did a good job. I think this is a list of most of the promo she did from Wednesday to Saturday:
A hour long Howard Stern interview.
A major segment on a network morning show is a big deal. The GMA link was posted up thread. That same interview aired in an extended version on Nightline and a part was spoofed by Jimmy Kimmel. When late-night talk shows can spoof you without much setup then you know you have reached a certain level of celebrity.
A couple of major local NYC (the biggest market) TV interviews. The Good Day New York Morning Show on Fox and New York Live early evening news on NBC.
They also managed to squeeze in almost all the big syndicated and cable entertainment shows - Extra with the interview at the bottom; Access Hollywood with three interview segments at the side; Showbiz Tonight on HLN where she handled a hostile interviewer quite easily; and Inside Edition. The fact that she can get big segments on these mainstream shows can only help her name recognition.
In addition to Howard Stern she also did several other radio shows for Sirius/XM. Covino & Rich with her segment starting aroound the 1:41 mark. Larry Flick's Morning Jolt which is aimed at LGBT listeners. If Bree wants to have a mainstream career than being known in the LGBT community can only aid her transition. Today she was on The Hollywood Shuffle with @DJWhooKid aimed at more of a hip-hop demo.
Quite the media blitz and in my opinion she handled herself well and was a credit to the adult industry.
Finally, before her NYC media promo tour, on Monday she cohosted the morning show at a local Fort Wayne radio station and made this bit of gossip news. In the Howard interview she mentioned that Charlie Sheen is not her most famous hook-up and the likely suspect here might be one of Sean Penn, Mel Gibson, Denzel Washington, James Cameron or Tom Hanks. anyone of of whom might be able to give her mainstream career a helping hand behind the scenes.

Nothing against Rachel, but I don't know why anyone would really hire her. I mean think about it. Take any mainstream actress, and the first thing most guys really want to see is her do is a topless scene or they hope for the Celeb Porn DVD. Well, with Rachel we already have that, numerous times over. Why would anyone hire her in a mainstream role, unless the director is trying to get close to her.

The #1 reason any producer might hire her is that they hope she can make them money by raising the profile of their project. There are probably dozens of hot, young blonde struggling actresses auditioning for roles that could do as good or better job at than Bree can. How many of them, however, have been on the cover's of People & Playboy, on network morning shows, network news magazines, nationally sydicated entertainment shows, national radio shows and have 250k followers on Twitter. If producers see that she can bring attention to their projects, at the same cost as using some struggling unknown, then they might hire her for that reason alone.
Or, as she said on her latest Howard Stern interview, she would be willing to have sex with the producer. Shamelessness is valuable asset in making a go of it in Hollywood.

I think there is a huge difference between getting their projects attention and causing someone to shell out $12 to see a film. Maybe a bit part in a TV movie or an Indy flick no one will ever see but I would think that's about it. Her porn fans aren't interested in seeing her with her clothes on and the vast majority of casual observers due to the Sheen thing will go back to indifference about her as the next person's media circus rolls into town. Look how quickly the general public's interest in Kacey Jordan ran its course. Bree has 247,000 twitter followers but went from about 90,000 to 235,000 in the couple of months the Sheen thing ran. In the 3-4 months since then, only another 12,000.
Think about Sasha Grey. A strong if not a stronger porn following, equally if not more attractive, much nastier scenes, better spoken and much more of an interesting interview, real heat from the Girfriend Experience movie. She's been trying to crossover for a few years and while she's done a few things, she's not exactly beating out Natalie Portman or Jennifer Anniston for roles.
Good luck to Bree...keep getting those club hosting gigs, guest shots on Stern and odds and ends here and there but she's dreaming if she thinks there is much of a future for her in mainstream films.

There is a decent career to be made in the "odds and ends" available out there now. There is a huge difference between Bree Olson and the Kacey Jordans/Capri Andersons of the world. Just this last week, more than three months since she left Charlie, she was able to get a big mainstream promo campaign.
I think Bree has shown a realistic view of a possible mainstream career. She does not seem to expect any type of big mainstream movie roles but is looking at small guest spots or a minor recurring role on cable TV shows. In which case a shows producer might bring her in for a guest spot on a three episode story arc and try and use her modest fame to promote their show. Even K-Fed could get a guest spot on CSI and a reality show and he has vastly less to offer than Bree does in terms of drive and talent.
More likely is getting a reality type show that would last a few years or getting work in sex comedies, horror flicks Cinemax type movies.

^^ I disagree. If you look at the promo that recent celebrity covergirls generated you will find that Bree Olson's was in the upper echelon. The key point is that she was able to leverage her Playboy cover and Sheen connection into higher impact promo venues - major network time, extended segments of several minutes in length, etc.
The same level of promo or more:
August 2011 - Bree Olson - Lots of coverage related to the Charlie Sheen situation.
July 2011 - Krystal Harris - lots of coverage related to her Hef marriage and runaway bride situation.
May 2011 - Karina Smirnoff - lots of coverage related to her being on one of the highest rated TV shows and speculation that she would be fired for doing the layout.
Lots less coverage:
June 2011 - Elizabeth Jagger - Neopotism did not seem to generate much coverage which seemed to be the case with a quick Google search.
April 2011 - Taryn Manning - A minor role on a network show with no big past success leads to little coverage which seems correct with a quick Google search.
January 2011 - Pamela Anderson - A well deserved cover for a huge Playboy legacy but again not much of a high impact promo campaign because there was no news value.
Looking back before this year, in October 2011, Sasha Grey had the cover but I did not realize till now that it was a dual cover with Playmate Kimberly Phillips on half the covers. I do not seem to remember the same level of coverage, major network time, etc. and again a check of Google seems to confirm this. Its not that she has not gotten major media attention but much of it was unrelated to her Playboy appearance.
The Playboy PR staff can only do so much and it takes the media being interested for external reasons to generate the type of campaign we saw last week.

On Nightline the other night I was struck by how mature and level-headed her demeanor was when talking about all the craziness. She's no Jerry Springer person, that's for sure. Very polished. There was no side-stepping or embarrassment in the way she talked. Maybe some lying and omitting about the presence of drugs, though the end result was she came off as a rational person navigating a crazy situation. It was different from what we usually get from scandal people. You know, when they try to smile their way through it. She was smiling, but untarnished by guilt in a way that probably improved lots of people's opinion about her. It was like she was the adult in the room, there to reassure the childlike interviewer and all of us at home, wisely telling us to calm down. Good PR work.
Don't remember Ted Koppel ever interviewing porn folks back when he was running the show. News is changing. I mean, if there had been a big flaming porn-related story like this in the 90s, Ted would have devoted some time to it after a few days, but back then I don't think this story would have ever flamed up into the bonfire it's become in our current news media. It would have stayed in the tabloids, with maybe a day or two of coverage on ET.

^^ Bree has been very lawyerly, dare I say Clintonesque, in parsing her words regarding CS and drugs. She has said that she never saw him take drugs or drink when she was living with him. She actually was not living with him until February 21st which was after he was hospitalized following the "banging 7 gram rocks" bender with Kacey Jordan, Melanie Rios, Natty and others but not Bree who was back in Indiana. After he got out of the hospital was when Warner Bros./CBS insisted he go to rehab and CS sidestepped them by claiming that he was doing home based rehab at self-proclaimed Sober Valley Lodge.
CS did take drug tests for the media, during this time, and for the courts in his child custody case, so Bree may indeed be telling the truth about what she saw after moving in with him. Many people thought CS must still be on drugs given his crazy rants but others, including Dr. Drew, suggested he was suffering from hypomania that can affect addicts going cold turkey.
Looking back on these events it almost seems as if CS's behavior was much better when Bree was around. For example Bree left CS in Vegas after the AVN's to go to Cabo but CS stayed to continue to party in Vegas. This is when the most excessive partying was reported by the tabloids and when he was late for his on-set call back in LA. She was not with him for a few weeks after the AVN's as she was in Cabo, Texas, NYC, Fort Wayne and hosting a radio event in St. Louis. In March Bree left Charlie for several days to go back to Indiana for her DUI arraignment. It was during this time period that CS did his really crazy U-Stream's of Sheen's Korner, when he went to Live Nation for meetings, waved the machete on the roof and most stupidly of all, signed on with Live Nation for his tour.
As strange as it may seem, Bree's claim that she tried to be a sobering influence on CS seems to be backed up by some circumstantial evidence.

I was fortunate enough to see Bree Olson feature dance at Blush in Pittsburgh this weekend. It might be the second to last time she ever does it as she is only contracted to do one more feature dance set at Penthouse in Houston on September 23, 24, & 25. In a [ invalid url ] on Pittsburgh radio she mentions that once here Playboy promotion and all previous contracts* are fulfilled she will be trying to go exclusively mainstream.
As to the show, what I felt is that pictures and video to not do Bree justice as in person she is even more gorgeous. There were some nice girls working at Blush but they were a magnitude lower in terms of hotness. Bree does not so much feature dance as work the crowd like the most skilled of politicians. She was great at making eye contact, singling out people in the crowd for attention, pressing the flesh and working hard to establish a connection to the crowd. She paid particular attention to the women in the crowd and the handicapped.

When meeting people individually Bree seemed to give the impression of devoting 100% of her attention to the person she was with, remember details of past interactions with that person, and then switching her full attention to the next person. In person she comes across as a genuine sweetheart and you can see why she has been so successful as she has some of that X-Factor that stars need to have.

^^ I sense some scepticism in your reply but I will take it at face value. I was fortunate to have longer than thirty seconds but it is mainly based on watching her interact with others over the course of a couple of nights. As I mentioned she displayed qualities that you see in the best politicians and top sales people in being able to focus on the person in front of them and make them feel they were the center of attention.
I know there are many other posters here that have met her so I wonder if they feel the same way. It would be interesting to see if my perceptions are shared by others.

I've only seen Bree feature at strip clubs in the pre-Charlie days, including one time at this very same club. Every time, Bree was extremely... interactive with the fans, to say the least. If you ever got a lap dance from Bree during that era, you probably know what I'm talking about, so I'll be a gentleman and say no more.
Was Bree still offering private dances last week at Blush? Since she doesn't really tweet the way she used to, I have no idea if / how much things have changed post-Sheen.

Bree was still offering private dances that were extremely interactive, highly verbal, plus she was a real sweetheart but not 100% interactive There was a $300 minimum and there was no lack of demand (there seemed to be several couples as well). She was there well past closing time dealing everyone.

^^ That Daily Beast interview along with many of the other interviews she has done recently have been quite good. She has done quite a good job, in my opinion, representing the adult world to the mainstream audience.

For those Bree Olson fans here is a bit of a weekly update on her goings on after she spent a week yachting, snorkling, wave riding, and tanning in the Sea of Cortez and Cabo.
As a dedicated vegan Bree probably felt that getting voted #1 on a poll of influential vegan and animal rights activists was the biggest thing that happenned this week.

It looks as if Bree has found an agency to handle her talent management, branding and marketing needs. They seem to focus on the music side more than the acting side but they have an interesting client list.

Based on Twitter she also gave a German TV interview but I have not seen a link to this yet.
Finally it does not seem as if Bree was kidding in saying she wanted to start at the bottom of the mainstream acting world to learn her craft. She has signed on to do an indie short film in Chicago this Fall. The sort of role that struggling actors use to build their reel for casting agencies.

Once again it is time for the weekly Bree Olson update. In addition to the above news that Scott posted about hosting the 2012 AVN Awards there were a few new interviews as well.
There has been some speculation that Bill Clinton's conversion to veganism was prompted when he read this headline from Bree - Go vegan and I'll have sex with you. The link is to an interview with a website where she won an influential vegan contest.

This weeks Bree Olson update provides a change of scenery. Bree has departed her hometown of Fort Wayne and relocated in LA in order to pursue her dreams of a mainstream career. Based on her twitter, in addition to the geographic change, she has made major life-changes. Bree has become celibate and quit smoking. She announced that she has gone without sex for a week which, from her tweets, might be the longest she has done so in a long time. More seriously she is also trying to quit smoking. Let's hope that if she has to break the no-sex or no-cigs streak that she chooses the former rather than the latter.
Bree guested on Loveline with Psycho Mike and Dr. Drew earlier this week. The podcast is behind a paywall but here is a short video segment from the show.
Bree's main event this week was hosting at the Chateau at Paris in Las Vegas to celebrate her Playboy cover. An article and pictures about the event. Another article with pictures and video of the red carpet.

This weeks Bree Olson update has her hanging around with some of her pals in LA and getting some global exposure. She also started a Twitter romance that got some attention in the NYC media/hipster crowd.
Bree showed up at Jackie Joy's birthday party showing her support for one of Foxxx's girls. Plus she found time to hang out at the pool with her best friend Arianna (aka Veronique Vega).
Playboy must be rolling out Bree's cover spread to their foreign additions as she is starting to do promo outside of the USA. There was a radio interview for a Spanish station. She also did an interview with Australia's most popular TV morning news show.
A cute story from the NY Observer's BetaBeat column about Bree connecting with a NY travel writer during Irene.
Finally of note is that she added this casting agency to her Twitter followings. Maybe she is going the reality TV route.

^^ Don't know if it's everything but probably almost everything. it actually is pretty easy with just a Google news alert and doing a Twitter search. Twitter searches are actually pretty easy and these days almost everything is posted there. all you need to do is copy and save the links each week. It does not take very long.
This week Bree Olson gave a nice interview with @OpTicMiDNiTE who is the Gaming Director for the Optic Gaming clan. They connected via Twitter which was an interesting courtship to watch. Not being an online gaming enthusiast I had no idea there were these big professional gaming clans where people actually make a living creating YouTube videos of CoD game-play. It is a good interview in that it does not really talk much about Charlie Sheen. Bree mentions that she just got back from shooting a bit for E! for what sounds like a 2011 entertainment retrospective show. At the 8 minute mark Bree talks about the porn business and what separates a top end pornstar from the large majority of performers. It seems, as with life, 90% of success is just showing up, in this case, on-time.
Maybe Chris at Foxxxmodeling is trying to get Bree to mentor his young talent in the ways of success. Last week she was hanging out with Jacky Joy and this week with Katie Summers and Mae Meyers.

The last scenes we know she shot were for Brazzers in early February and all those scenes have been released. There might be a few scenes she has shot that have yet to be released. She has also said she will be continuing to release new material exclusively for her website but it is unclear if that is just going to be previously shot material. She has hinted that she will be doing some new stuff for her website but whether that is "porn" porn is unclear. Bree's definition of making porn might be similar to Bill Clinton's definition of having sex.
Right now she is working on getting mainstream roles and has a part in an indie short filmed lined up and today she was doing some voiceover work. She's shot a couple of local Fort Wayne TV commercials. She is doing hosting gigs at clubs with her next one being this Friday in Ocean City, MD at PartyBlock for Delmarva Bike Week.
She's also still featuring dancing, which no doubt helps pay the bills, with her next gig in Houston September 22-24 at the Penthouse Club
ETA: There is also a Bree scene in the recently released porn blockbuster "Killer Bodies". I have not seen it yet but I think it is a newly released scene from Adam & Eve's back catalog of Bree scenes.

Two new Bree Olson interviews this week. The first from the Matty P Radio Happy Hour which begins at the fifteen minute mark. The second was with Radio Freaks and begins around the 1:08:00 mark. It will be on the main page for a few more days then moved to archives.
In the Matty P interview they discuss her upcoming feature dance gig at The Penthouse Club in Houston from September 22-24. From what she says this might be her last feature dance gig in awhile and possibly ever if her mainstream career has any success. It was contracted for before she decided to try mainstream full-time and she is meeting all her previous commitments. She puts on quite a show so if your in the Houston area I would recommend checking it out.
For those in the Atlantic City area they are throwing her a 25th birthday party at the Diving Horse in AC on October 6th. This looks to be more of a hosting gig than a feature dance event but you never know what sort of shenanigans might occur. That little article mentions she will be coming to the event form Japan but there have been no other reports of her going to Japan or what she might be doing there. If she is going to Japan it might be to make some public appearances or shoot content for her website (or both). No clue what they mean about flying in on a private jet with an "unknown" companion. It could be Charlie Sheen there to help her celebrate her birthday since they still keep in touch or someone else like her new travel writer, web entrepreneur beau. Or they might just be blowing smoke.

It's her life and she can do what she wants but she will be no more known what she is...a porn star who fell into the Sheen thing and trying to make a buck but producers and directors will see her for what she is..a porn star..nothing more nothing less!

She has been saying the same thing for months in dozens of interviews (which are posted in this thread) and on her twitter account. I think she was just tired of all the tweets she gets, everyday, assuming she is still active.
If you listen to the interviews I posted on Sept. 18th she discusses her decision to host the AVN Awards. She states that she is proud of her work in the biz and has nothing bad to say about it. She felt the AVN Awards word give her a chance to thank both her fans and her colleagues at porns most high profile event. Plus it is a nice payday I imagine.
Bree is still meeting all her contractual commitments for feature dancing and to maintain her website for those who have paid for it. Her website contract with Blazing Bucks runs through 2013 and she has pledged to provide it with regular content updates. How hardcore these updates are remains to be seen but as I have said earlier, Bree's definition of what constitutes porn is like Bill Clinton's definition of sex.
Saying that Bree Olson is not a real porn star who "pisses all over it" is ludicrous. She worked hard in the biz for almost six years and she was in over 170 scenes. Scenes which ran the gamut of almost every porn style and genre. Her body of work stacks up in every possible way to the scenes we have from Jenna Haze, Belladonna, and Bobbi Starr. I think the last scene she shot was for Jenna Haze.
The idea that she used Charlie Sheen to get famous is ridiculous. Charlie was flying into Fort Wayne to visit with her back in 2010 and she kept it on the down-low. Charlie is the one who asked her to move in with him. When she moved in it was before the epic meltdown. Unless Bree was a psychic she had no way of knowing that, a few weeks after moving in, she would be part of one of the greatest media shit-storms ever.
She is taking advantage of the higher profile the Sheen saga gave her but she clearly did not expect it beforehand. She handled those questions related to Sheen well without being to crass about it. As for her mainstream chances, she has made it clear she understands how difficult it will be but if she wants to take that chance then more power to her.

However, she, and no one else, had no idea how much attention Sheen's battle with Chuck Lorre would generate. No one knew that Charlie Sheen would, soon after she moved in, also invite almost every major media outlet in the world into his home to hear him rant on about his dispute with his bosses.

Bree Olson just finished her feature dance gig in Houston. Depending on if her mainstream success prospers it might be her last feature dance appearance ever. If it does not prosper then she might be back since it is a great way for a name performer to make a good living.

^ I was kind of thinking the same thing. I hope he works for her in some capacity like a publicist or an assistant. To chronicle someone's movements that closely week after week, let's just say, it's a little unusual.
