Some of which she has since deleted from her timeline. She mentioned that she is working on a project which she hopes to announce next week. From some other things she has said I don't think it is a mainstream project because I get the impression she is finding that hard going. It might be a deal with Verified Call or another stint as a Playboy TV host. Intellectually Bree might have know that crossing-over was going to be difficult but actually experiencing it is something else. Plus I think she genuinely loved doing porn and misses it. The video turned out to be about the KONY 2012 phenomena. Bree had tweeted about the KONY 2012 video very early on before it really became big so I have no doubt it sincerely affected her. There is also no doubt that this is also Bree doing what she does best. To change the words of a Britney lyric - "Oh My God that Bree is shameless". Based on Bree's retweet of her friend's tweet I think she understands the irony of the situation. If getting attention is one of the goals than it has worked with almost 80k views so far. Plus it has gotten mainstream media attention being covered by the Daily Mail, Gawker and many others. As an aside it seems as if the blockade by the world of mainstream acting is still forcing former adult performers into the celebrity/reality fringe. You have this from Bree and recently we have seen Sasha Grey's bizarre equal pay video and Jenna Haze lap-dancing at Taylor Momsens shows (see their respective threads). Of course, given the economic condition of the porn world it still might make financial sense for the big adult names to "retire" and try to make their living through the celebrity industrial complex. In other news, it seems as if Bree is trying her hand at recording music. She has been at the Trend Def studios laying down tracks with Mike Gonsolin. Interested to hear what they have come up with. So unless Rachel has acting ability better than 95 out of 100 people, and of course take into consideration that no producer of family friendly material is going to hire her for fear or backlash, she isn't going to be working a mainstream career anytime soon. Since you're clearly in the know; you might want to suggest that taking a month long acting class does not make an actress. You might also want to steer her to doing some small plays to develop her chops. I've seen plenty of Rachel's work and I love her performances, but the playing the role of "little white whore" doesn't translate into roles any more difficult than "3rd Naked Girl in Shower" or "Lap Dancing Stripper". What you might want to suggest to her is to follow Andy San Dimas's trajectory as its actually lead to a few mainstream parts. Legitimate actresses with training from Julliard or MFA's in Theater wait years for their break and for most of them it never comes. She's been at it what, 2 months? It's a Catch-22. She wants to use her name recognition to jump to the head of the line but doesn't want what that name recognition is based on being used against her. She wants everyone to know she's put her porn past behind her but is still actively stripping. She wants to be seen as a credible voice on social issues but does so rolling around in the sand in a bikini guaranteeing it will be seen as nothing more than an attempt to draw attention to herself. Garnering mainstream media attention which produces headlines like "Are you really that desperate? Charlie Sheen’s porn star ex-Bree Olson strips off to show support for KONY 2012 movement" is really not going to help her. [Link]

On a more serious note: I'm not ready to throw in my lot with the people who say that KONY2012 is PsyOp preparing us for an invasion of Uganda. She had a few DVDs & copies of the various Penthouse & Playboy magazines she's been in. I picked one of her Penthouse layouts and took a topless Polaroid with her and then the above solo photo before saying goodbye. I hung out at the front bar until showtime about an hour later. To Bree's credit, T's was the busiest I've ever seen it, which was a very good thing. I hate when a club is slow because the girls are all over you since there are so few customers. A busy clubs means more targets for them to hassle instead of me. When show time arrived, I took a seat by the front rail. Bree's show wasn't really a show at all. She came out in a see thru black lace dress with a white bra & panties underneath. She was only on the stage for a minute or two before she got down and started working her way around the rail. One by one she gave each guy some individual attention. I have been remiss in updating the Bree Olson thread but sometimes real life keeps you busy. First off I want to thank Jman5245 for his great report (plus all his other great reports in his Feature Dance thread). The additional weight does seem to find its way to the best spots on Bree's body. My one disagreement is that Bree does put on a show. It may not be a feature dance show, as she does little dancing, but is more of an erotic piece of interactive performance art. To enjoy a Bree feature performance you need to interact with her. The third is that she is working with a web based sketch comedy group called Bachelor Pad TV. I will detail the music video first and deal with the other items in future posts. Based on a tweet from LA Hot Magazine it is a parody song in the style of Lonely Island. There seems to have been a bit of money put into the video production as well as it has a large cast made of of stars of the adult world such as Alexis Ford who has a starring role, Katie Summers, Leya Falcon and a plethora of model/actor/singer/dancers like Arianna Varella, Ashley Kirk, Tru Collins, Denise Sanchez, Jan Klink among others. I have posted some pictures from the shoot and maybe you can recognize some of them. The adult stars and model/actor/singer/dancers on Bree's Mercedes. Bree joins her girls. Bree and her dancers. Bree and Mike Gonsolin aka Hollywood Douchebag. Bree and her car which has a starring role. Bree and Alexis, who has a bigger role in the video, off set. The video is currently being edited and should be out on Bree's YouTube channel and available on ITunes in the near future. One thing that seems to be hapenning is that Bree is trying to position herself to bypass the gatekeepers and directly monetize her celebrity through places like iTunes and YouTube. Manwin, through their Pornhub subsidiary, has taken a page out of the NFL promotional handbook and started to promote the importance of breast screening in the early detection of cancer. Given that the adult industry has a much closer relationship with women and their breasts than the NFL, the connection makes sense. It certainly allowed Bree to support a good cause while generating lots of positive publicity in the adult and mainstream media. Among some of the many outlets that covered the Bree Olson Boob Bus were Fox News, Howard Stern (radio clip), Fastlane (with a video clip), Huffington Post, Jezebel, along with many, many more. Bree has clearly maintained a close relationship with Adam & Eve, her former contract home, given that she is still doing promos, ads and signed for them at the AEE/AVN's. As well she seems to have developed a good relationship with the giant of the industry Manwin where she signed for Brazzers at the AEE/AVN's and has become the face for them in Pornhub's breast cancer awareness campaign. I have detailed several of these projects but there several more in the works as well. Some of these are mainstream, some are adult related, and some a combination. Whatever the project, Bree is proving herself quite the little entrepreneur and adept at building, shifting and maintaining her personal brand. The big announcement today was Bree's introduction as a Verified Call client (where she is taking paid calls), spokesmodel, consultant, and equity stakeholder in this Silcone Valley start-up. The last article linked, from Venture Beat, gives the greatest detail on the tech and business side. Bree has always eschewed "silcone" but I guess the lure of stock options changed her mind. Verified Call is a mainstream start-up, with some successful VC money behind it, that is clearly looking for new revenue streams from the adult world. It seems as if Bree's main role will be to help market the services to adult performers, agencies and production companies. In a rare partnership between an adult entertainer and Silicon Valley, Olson (pictured above) has signed on to provide celebrity endorsement for Verified Call. In return, she gets a way to interact one-on-one with her fans in a secure fashion — and she also picks up some stock options in Verified Call. Last week also saw Bree shooting her cover for the Summer issue of LA Hot Magazine. The shoot was on Sunset Blvd. where the general public, such as ADT member MonstarPR could catch a glimpse. I looked back on those tweets from like 2-3 years ago and they are outrageous. Was she on drugs or did she genuinely want to get gang raped while pregnant was she really fucking random strangers and tweeting about it? Or was she just "trolling" the entire time. She wasn't about to invite 10 random guys from the strip club back to her hotel room and have them all come inside of her though it makes for a great story. It was IMHO, all a calculated effort to generate buzz and get people talking about her and it worked. Bree Olson did a lot of tweeting this week and drop some interesting details. Some of which she has since deleted from her timeline. She mentioned that she is working on a project which she hopes to announce next week. From some other things she has said I don't think it is a mainstream project because I get the impression she is finding that hard going. It might be a deal with Verified Call or another stint as a Playboy TV host.
Intellectually Bree might have know that crossing-over was going to be difficult but actually experiencing it is something else. Plus I think she genuinely loved doing porn and misses it. Here is a note she tweeted last week:

After a quiet couple of weeks there is a lot of news in the world of Bree Olson. several days ago she tweeted this picture of her shooting a YouTube video with Andre Madness:

At the time there was no hint about what the video was about. The video turned out to be about the KONY 2012 phenomena. Bree had tweeted about the KONY 2012 video very early on before it really became big so I have no doubt it sincerely affected her. There is also no doubt that this is also Bree doing what she does best. To change the words of a Britney lyric - "Oh My God that Bree is shameless". Based on Bree's retweet of her friend's tweet I think she understands the irony of the situation.
If getting attention is one of the goals than it has worked with almost 80k views so far. Plus it has gotten mainstream media attention being covered by the Daily Mail, Gawker and many others.
As an aside it seems as if the blockade by the world of mainstream acting is still forcing former adult performers into the celebrity/reality fringe. You have this from Bree and recently we have seen Sasha Grey's bizarre equal pay video and Jenna Haze lap-dancing at Taylor Momsens shows (see their respective threads). Of course, given the economic condition of the porn world it still might make financial sense for the big adult names to "retire" and try to make their living through the celebrity industrial complex.
In other news, it seems as if Bree is trying her hand at recording music. She has been at the Trend Def studios laying down tracks with Mike Gonsolin. Interested to hear what they have come up with.

Blockade????? WTF are you talking about? The acting profession in general has a 95% unemployment rate. So unless Rachel has acting ability better than 95 out of 100 people, and of course take into consideration that no producer of family friendly material is going to hire her for fear or backlash, she isn't going to be working a mainstream career anytime soon.
Since you're clearly in the know; you might want to suggest that taking a month long acting class does not make an actress. You might also want to steer her to doing some small plays to develop her chops. I've seen plenty of Rachel's work and I love her performances, but the playing the role of "little white whore" doesn't translate into roles any more difficult than "3rd Naked Girl in Shower" or "Lap Dancing Stripper".
What you might want to suggest to her is to follow Andy San Dimas's trajectory as its actually lead to a few mainstream parts. Granted Andy did play a stripper in Drive, but she was clothed and had a pivotal scene with the star.

She's been at it what, 2 months? It's a Catch-22. She wants to use her name recognition to jump to the head of the line but doesn't want what that name recognition is based on being used against her. She wants everyone to know she's put her porn past behind her but is still actively stripping. She wants to be seen as a credible voice on social issues but does so rolling around in the sand in a bikini guaranteeing it will be seen as nothing more than an attempt to draw attention to herself. Garnering mainstream media attention which produces headlines like "Are you really that desperate? On a more serious note: I'm not ready to throw in my lot with the people who say that KONY2012 is PsyOp preparing us for an invasion of Uganda. After our brief chat, I asked what items she had on the menu for the night. She had a few DVDs & copies of the various Penthouse & Playboy magazines she's been in. I picked one of her Penthouse layouts and took a topless Polaroid with her and then the above solo photo before saying goodbye.

After she was done with the guys on stage, it was time for cooterball, a T's Lounge tradition. This is where the girl holds a shot glass in front of her vagina and if you throw a dollar bill in to it, you win a prize like a poster or DVD.
And that was it. As I said in the beginning, Bree didn't really do a show but she was still one of the most entertaining features I've ever seen. She was out there for nearly 40 minutes, by far the longest performance by a feature I've had witnessed. Definitely worth the long drive and cost of admission. I was worried that Bree might have toned down her show now that she's trying to become a mainstream actress, but I needn't have worried. Bree was just a naught & raunchy as she always was. Spectacular indeed! I have been remiss in updating the Bree Olson thread but sometimes real life keeps you busy. First off I want to thank Jman5245 for his great report (plus all his other great reports in his Feature Dance thread). The additional weight does seem to find its way to the best spots on Bree's body. My one disagreement is that Bree does put on a show. It may not be a feature dance show, as she does little dancing, but is more of an erotic piece of interactive performance art. To enjoy a Bree feature performance you need to interact with her. You probably will not enjoy it much if you sit back at the bar sipping your beer. The third is that she is working with a web based sketch comedy group called Bachelor Pad TV. I will detail the music video first and deal with the other items in future posts.
Bree, alongside her boyfriend music producer Mike Gonsolin, has written a song call I'm in love with a Hollywood Douchebag. Based on a tweet from LA Hot Magazine it is a parody song in the style of Lonely Island. There seems to have been a bit of money put into the video production as well as it has a large cast made of of stars of the adult world such as Alexis Ford who has a starring role, Katie Summers, Leya Falcon and a plethora of model/actor/singer/dancers like Arianna Varella, Ashley Kirk, Tru Collins, Denise Sanchez, Jan Klink among others. I have posted some pictures from the shoot and maybe you can recognize some of them.

Bree Olson, even though she has not performed any new adult scenes in over a year, has clearly not turned her back on the adult world which propelled her to fame and fortune. In particular she has not turned her back when, in exchange for her adult and mainstream celebrity, the adult world is willing to compensate her with money and attention. The latest example was the Bree Olson Boob Bus which graced the streets of NYC last week.
Manwin, through their Pornhub subsidiary, has taken a page out of the NFL promotional handbook and started to promote the importance of breast screening in the early detection of cancer. Given that the adult industry has a much closer relationship with women and their breasts than the NFL, the connection makes sense.
It certainly allowed Bree to support a good cause while generating lots of positive publicity in the adult and mainstream media. Among some of the many outlets that covered the Bree Olson Boob Bus were Fox News, Howard Stern (radio clip), Fastlane (with a video clip), Huffington Post, Jezebel, along with many, many more.

I would suggest that Bree still is pretty "awesome" but then your views may vary.
billywatson Some great "blast from the past" pictures. The first one in particular has that corn-fed, Mid-Western girl next door cuteness that helped launch Bree Olson into adult stardom.

That she does.
Bree is clearly trying to exploit that sense of fun and humor in her recent projects. As I posted earlier, her new song and music video, I'm in Love With a Hollywood Douchebag is a comedy song. As a former adult star, one of whose main claim to fame is an association with Charlie Sheen, making a serious attempt at music would have opened her up for immense ridicule. There will still be many who will denigrate anything non-porn she tries because of her past but at least doing a song parody might be better received.
In a similar vein, Bree has been doing scenes for Bachelors Pad TV which is a web based web comedy series. Not everyone gets to start-off at the top with a lead role in a Steven Soderbergh movie. Doing things like online sketch comedy is where a lot of aspiring mainstream performers build resumes, make contacts and learn their craft.

Bree Olson moved to LA three months ago and we are now starting to see many of the various projects she is working on come to fruition. I have detailed several of these projects but there several more in the works as well. Some of these are mainstream, some are adult related, and some a combination. Whatever the project, Bree is proving herself quite the little entrepreneur and adept at building, shifting and maintaining her personal brand.
The big announcement today was Bree's introduction as a Verified Call client (where she is taking paid calls), spokesmodel, consultant, and equity stakeholder in this Silcone Valley start-up. The last article linked, from Venture Beat, gives the greatest detail on the tech and business side. Bree has always eschewed "silcone" but I guess the lure of stock options changed her mind.
Verified Call is a mainstream start-up, with some successful VC money behind it, that is clearly looking for new revenue streams from the adult world. It seems as if Bree's main role will be to help market the services to adult performers, agencies and production companies.

In a rare partnership between an adult entertainer and Silicon Valley, Olson (pictured above) has signed on to provide celebrity endorsement for Verified Call. Something from the past, a few recent interviews and three feature appearances scheduled on this week's Bree Olson update.

I've just recently been following Bree on twitter and her tweets are pretty tame. I did not follow her when she was still doing porn. I looked back on those tweets from like 2-3 years ago and they are outrageous. Was she on drugs or did she genuinely want to get gang raped while pregnant was she really fucking random strangers and tweeting about it? Or was she just "trolling" the entire time. The way she acts on twitter now is completely different.

^ My belief is and according to a few folks who know her and have made off hand comments over the years, she didn't actually do 95% of the stuff she talked about on twitter. She wasn't about to invite 10 random guys from the strip club back to her hotel room and have them all come inside of her though it makes for a great story. It was IMHO, all a calculated effort to generate buzz and get people talking about her and it worked. I'm not saying she didn't have her share of encounters but the extreme stuff like being horny in a hotel and going to the basement, finding a random janitor and fucking him bareback like she talked about on Stern is I believe all bullshit. She's a very smart businesswoman and knows how to draw attention to herself, always has. Her tweets are much tamer now as she is trying to go "mainstream". But continuing to strip on a regular basis, endorsing a variety of adult related products and services and other adult related activities even though the money is attractive, is not going to convince a lot of folks outside of porn she is sincere about truly going mainstream even though she's not actually filming scenes anymore.

I have been slacking but I will have a full report on her activities these last couple weeks in the near future. Bree did post a YouTube video (WARNING - Boobs and Pussy) on her YouTube channel. She talks about several mainstream projects that might be coming to fruition despite her continued adult related activities. Even though she is still featuring and monetizing her adult celebrity it seems as though some in the mainstream are willing to give her a chance.
When I spoke to her a few months ago she talked about missing her "dirty Tweeting" days as it gave her chance to express her sexual fantasies which is one of the reasons she still likes to feature (besides the great money she gets). Her filthy tweets were justly famous because they were well written, kinky and there was enough anecdotal evidence to support the fact that she was sexually adventurous. ^ Mustela, her tweets or the things she talked about during her appearances on Howard Stern were well known not because they were well written but because she presented them as FACT. It's one thing to say you fantasize about doing these things, it's another to say you actually did them. To you, that's a wonderful expression of her creativity, to me it's just bullshitting her fans and manipulating them for her own gain. I don't know why she felt the need to do that to gain attention or popularity, but I don't like it. I think we will have to agree to disagree.

Lots of Bree Olson news from these last couple of weeks. In the above mentioned video she mentions that she is shooting a TV pilot next week. It seems as if she will be shooting the pilot in Palm Springs on Monday through Wednesday. Speaking of music videos, the editing of I'm in Love With a Hollywood Douchebag is finished and it should be out on her YouTube Channel next week as well as being available on iTunes. About four hours of BTS and outakes will be made available on her Website.

Next week, those in the Tampa area can see Bree feature on June 15th and 16th at Tampa Gold Club. I wonder if Bree will be toning down her stage act now that she has a serious boyfriend.

I wish I was that overpaid.
Is that the normal price ADT members get paid when they, many times a day, post details on what performers have done, are doing and will be doing in their careers? Maybe to be compensated like other ADT members I should just link one activity per post rather than saving up several items in one post.

The far more interesting question, to me, is what motivates jakerson to serve in his long-running role as the Official Voice of Dissent and Negativity in the Bree thread? I'm leaning toward a theory that they are from the same town in Indiana, and knew each other in childhood, or were perhaps schoolmates, and that at some point there was a humiliating incident which left jakerson nursing a life-long grudge against Bree. He peed his pants in the first grade, and she told everybody; or he spent an entire day in the 4th grade with a "I'M A FAG! KICK ME!" sign which she surreptitiously attached to the back of his shirt; or she went with him to a dance in 7th grade, but as soon as they got there, she ditched him and spent the whole night hanging around with 9th graders. You'll note, I don't tend to start any rants but rather choose to comment on the comments of others that I think are inaccurate or misleading and this thread seems to have more of those than others at least IMO. I've certainly not been alone but I appreciate being made the Official voice of dissent which I guess is about on a par in prestige with being designated the "official mexican restaurant of the Montreal Canadiens".
If Bree wants to leave porn and go "mainstream" then great, more power to her. But don't trumpet to whoever will listen that you've gone mainstream and left porn behind while still trying to squeeze every last dollar out of your still sizeable porn fanbase. I find that disingenuous at best and yes, irritating. But you will be pleased to know, I am about Bree'd out and will leave others to carry on the cause. I will eagerly await the release of her new youtube video and will be sure to watch all 4 hours of the BTS stuff on her website.

^^ I have no problem with jakerson181. At least he has a rationale behind his posts. I might disagree with it but it is not just random insults.
I happen to like the idea of adult performers that are also smart businesswomen who try and squeeze the last dime out of their adult career. It is a tough business to choose to enter and all to many leave it with nothing much in the way of assets or prospects. It contradicts the stereotype of the drug addled porn girl ending up bankrupt, addicted and living a Hobbesian life - nasty, brutal and short.
Back when Bree was first talking about trying mainstream she said she realized she would be moving from being a big fish in a small pond to a small fish in a big pond. She would have to start out at the bottom and pay her dues. Shooting web videos, pilots, voice-over work, commercials - these are the things almost all aspiring actors have to do before the get, if they ever do, their break. Very few get to start off with a lead role in a major picture from the likes of Steven Soderbergh.
Bree Olson's spent her first day on the set of her pilot. In addition to Andy Dick the cast includes Mike Hatton, [ invalid url ] and the very funny Kid in the Hall Dave Foley.

The second day shooting the pilot for Live Nude Girls and in addition to Bree Olson it involves another superstar from the world of porn - ASA AKIRA! Two other involved are Jasmine Waltz and Kristen De Luca. Also Bree Olson has a stunt double, Mira Chhoeur, I guess some skills she never had to master on the feature dance circuit.
