Just when I was starting to doubt their commitment to creating their own apparel, Georgia assured me that everything she and Faye were wearing was indeed self-made. The shirt's tag reads, "I Heart Georgia". Fashionista power!

Thankfully, Ava felt the same way too. Of all the girls I would get to hug and snuggle with this weekend, Ava Rose was the toughest to let go of. Just a lovely, lovely woman in every way. ![]() |

Why do I feel like I'm in the minority in firmly believing that Teagan looks way better now than in her early years? Does the whole "girls only" thing really blind people that much? Whatever, that's not what I want this thread to be about. Teagan was quite excited about her upcoming feature dance at Deja Vu later that night, along with Eva Angelina and Sunny Leone. If their show ever comes to a club near you, I strongly recommend it. ![]() |

Personally, I could've cared less about the damn skateboard. Unfortunately, it worked its way into every pic I shot of her. [Image not found DB] |

You can clearly see the front wall in the background, and count on one hand the number of ceiling lamps that lead up to it. ![]() From that exact same spot, I spun 180° and aimed towards the back of the hall. See how much further the back wall is? ![]() |

And that was hardly what I'd call a memorable encounter. I guess she just confused me with somebody else. Nevertheless, Jenny was in good spirits throughout the day. Say what you will about her surgical choices (which I'm still not a fan of), but you can't deny that Jenny appears to be much happier and approachable since then. ![]() |

When I walked into the signing area, one of the security guards asked me who I was taking pictures for. I simply replied, "Press." The big guy then informs me that only "approved" press can come in and shoot photos of Sasha. Before I could protest, he then added that he could take my camera and shoot a photo of the both of us. Yippee. As soon as I gave him my camera and walked up to Sasha, she immediately turned to the guard and said, "Um, Carl? He can take his own photos." To be honest, I can't remember if she emphasized it exactly that way - but it's my story, so shut up. Anyways, Sasha reviewed what she had filmed so far with the G4TV crew. Her voice sounded perfectly fine then, but I would find out later that Sasha was already starting to feel a bit sick from something. Nevertheless, she was a pleasure to chat with as always. I could go on and on about how much I love talking to Sasha Grey, but this is neither the time nor place. [Image not found DB] ![]() |

| Anime Nut Senior Member Too cool for Zuul 1925 Posts 6/06 | LAS VEGAS, NV - After debuting the previous day to mixed reactions - primarily due to its smaller scale when compared to previous events - AVN's Adult Entertainment Expo 2010 entered the first day of general fan admission with some doubts and questions waiting to be answered. Would the Sands Expo be able to handle a full crowd with fewer big studio booths? Would the fans notice, or even show up? Since fan admission did not begin until 12 noon, AEE started Friday much like it did the day before, with the big exception being the increased level of noise. Nearly every major studio booth featured monitors which played continuous loops of trailers, promos, and other clips. In some cases, this repetition led to extreme aggravation and eye-rolling. The worst offender would have to be Wicked Pictures, which played several promos chronicling the making of a photo shoot. Sounds fun? Sexy? Didn't think so. By the third time I heard, "Hello, I'm Kaylani Lei, and we're here at the Palms..." I was about ready to choke somebody. The AEE Main Stage, which attendees of the 2009 show still have nightmares of, struck a much better balance of entertainment this time around. Instead of blasting "rock" and hip hop music all day, the only time my ears were subjected to questionable tunes was during some of the fan contests (like pole dancing) and a performance by the band Rent to Own, which closed the show. I was not particularly impressed by Rent to Own, but I'll admit it was a vast improvement over 2009's DJ-powered eardrum bleeders. You may recall the praise I've heaped on Elegant Angel's booth in the past. Well, it's only fair that I take this opportunity to address its single greatest flaw: the free swag giveaways. It's nothing new to the convention circuit. Exhibitors have been tossing out free crap to the loudest morons for years. My problems with Elegant Angel's approach are three-fold. First, the items are thrown in every direction, including the floorspace where fans line up to meet the girls. This makes a clumsy and messy queue system even more chaotic, with random people running in from neighboring booths to try and score a free baseball cap. Every single time one of these giveaways occurred, you were guaranteed to see a pack of guys run into the crowd, physically collide and clash with people in line, then walk away as soon as the last item was tossed out. Speaking of which, my second issue is just how bloody long these giveaways lasted. A few minutes of hollering that occurred once every hour would have been perfectly acceptable. But the Elegant Angel staff apparently felt this event needed to occur roughly every half hour, and each giveaway must last about 10-15 minutes on average. This is just ridiculous. Depending on how long a particular line was, you may have had to endure more than one giveaway before finally arriving at the sacred steps of the white palace. Third and last, the actual tossing out of swag was performed not only by the support staff running the show, but also by the performers themselves. So not only are you being jostled around by mooks in desperate need of free clothes for a quarter of an hour, but you must also contend with the fact that your line will not and cannot move forward because the girl ain't signing. Again, this would be okay if it was only the girls who had just finished their signing shift or had just arrived. Instead, it's the very same performers who have already amassed a line of 30+ fans, each of whom probably has a schedule of his or her own to keep. I love the sheer beauty and grandeur of Elegant Angel's booth, and their line-up of girls is second to none. But shenanigans like this make them very difficult to respect. Still with me? Don't worry, the bitching is done (for now). Friday also featured the Keynote Speech delivered by the one and only Sasha Grey. As anybody familiar with her should expect by now, Sasha stayed cool and engaging at the podium. A hoarse voice caused by some illness or infection only slowed her down long enough to take a sip of water, before soldiering forward. Sasha's speech was primarily a personal story of how she entered the industry, what she's learned from it, and how she hopes to move it forward in the years to come. Before Sasha took the stage, she was introduced by industry legend and long-time friend Tristan Taormino. This intro deserved its own round of applause for the deft and funny summary of what makes Sasha Grey unique. Once the doors opened to general admission, the exhibit hall floor became louder and more congested. Certain aisles towards the front filled up with so many bodies that they were virtually impassable for a period of time. But was the congestion any worse than previous years? From what I was able to perceive, I'd have to say no. Ticket sales were apparently down this year. Looks like all those "early bird" discounts couldn't hide the fact that admission fees were higher than ever. Does this mean the future of AEE as a fan-accessible event is in trouble? I certainly hope not. What matters most to fans is that opportunity to meet their favorite stars. Even if your favorite girl did not attend the show this year, there were still more performers than you could hope to meet before the doors closed for the day. Returning the show to trade-only status (which has been rumored) may please and make sense to studio producers and event organizers, but I know plenty of performers who would truly hate to see this happen. |

| Arditti Member 529 Posts 5/07 | Thank you very much for all the great pics you showed us these days. All are welcome, some are great or amazing. Angela Summer's one is incredible. I remember when she got into Butmman's films in the early 90's. It seems to me she is more beautiful then ever, ready to come back in force. Otherwise, somebody should bring us an interview with Sasha Grey. Aine, you had great insights about her, her coolness, but it would be nice to hear more about her future plans in the industry, what has changed in her mind since she got into it or since she got involved in The Girlfriend Experience. |
| Anime Nut Senior Member Too cool for Zuul 1925 Posts 6/06 | While I was waiting in line to chat with Kristina Rose, Mark Spiegler spotted me in the crowd. He invited me backstage to see Andy and a couple other girls, but I told him I didn't want to lose my spot in Kristina's line. About 5 minutes later, Spiegs returned and, like the ultimate pimp that he is, brought these 3 lovelies with him. Spiegs then said to me, "Here, I'll hold your spot, while you go and meet them." Juelz and Angelica are both fairly new to the Spieglergirls family, and they both seemed pretty excited to be at the show. I'd already met Andy before, and she immediately thanked me for the positive reviews. Hey, I just call it as I see it. ![]() |

A few years ago, Evil would still throw stuff out sometimes. We were threatened by show security that if we didn't stop, our booth would get shut down. So we stopped. |
