excellent, I spent 20 minutes typing out a well-reasoned reply, and the ADT server shit itself as I tried to submit.
Ah well, I'm not typing it again. I'm out of this discussion.
The gist: Lee O and "Maybe Laura Angel/Enigmatic" Cougar, at this point you're just argung in circles, you can either do something about it yourself(ves) or do nothing. An incomplete list is still a list that consumers who agree with you can use, especially if the industry doesn't care about your cause.
There are way riskier professions out there that won't even or hardly make you a living... so do society a favor and blacklist all those companies first... maybe you can make a diffirence.
I have been checking out this thread occasionally, I just haven't felt like taking troll bait. This thread serves as a great reminder for me that I really need to to get to reviewing the copies of Cream Filled Ass Pies and Cum Filled Asshole Overload that I have sitting on my desk.

Sorry, but when you use arguments like, I think it´s not the cars that pollute our air, it´s the smoke comming out of the exhaust pipes. I just give you a strange look no matter how many reviews or whatever you have written. But maybe it´s just my threads in which he fails to live up to his role as a a moderator extraordinaire. I can´t believe that he thinks that every woman who posts here watches porn movies, however he used exactly this argument against me calling me a troll. But as I said, whoever wants to join the discussion is welcome, this includes astroknight, when he decides to come up with something other than faultfinder comments.

"It demonstrates the weakness of your arguments when you have to make up shit like this, which anyone can see I did not advocate, to try to shoot me down." "Companies are not obligated to make the porn that the performers would prefer - they want to make what sells." so what? I just demonstrated you a variation of "whatever the market demands". :) It wasn´t even `made up´, it´s a very real scenario, I could have said making snuff movies and animal porn might sell too. So you either swallow the risk that guys number #63 dick fresh from Brazil cums in your ass to finish a standard 1on1 scene shot few days later in pornvalley or you reconsider your argumentation. The next american guy might got infected using needles, but still have a recent one week old hiv-negativ test result when he shows up at the set. The viral load for an infection might not be high enough yet to pass the hiv virus on during vaginal or anal penetration but the anal creamshot may just be what is needed to take everything over the top. Like it has been said before, its basically the difference between taking a risk and taking a stupid risk for the sake of pleasing some obstinate fans.
"Er no, you're still just as free. And other performers are free to choose whether to work with you." Yes, but they can make a wrong decision based on the absence of facts or mouth propaganda. If you shoot creampies you take the risk for all talents even those who decided to not get booked for these acts anymore. It doesnt help to skip that fact at all.
"A lot of people in this thread have been implying that performers are somehow coerced by circumstance to do anal creampies to stay in work." Of course there are enough young girls taken advantage of who have no clue about the risks and believe whatever their agent tells them they should believe. If you dont know that you dont know a lot about this industry.
"Companies are not obligated to make the porn that the performers would prefer - they want to make what sells. But in fact that's bullshit anyway, there are plenty of performers who don't even do anal, including the most succesful porn star of all, Jenna Jameson. You can´t even remotely compare the choices a pornstar has to a new porntalent entering the industry. When creampies become the standard ending in porn it is this or nothing for a starter. It´s like the idea to tell a gonzo producer, hey where are the condoms? For a new talent such a shot will likely be a two parter. The first and the last.
"Obviously anal creampies carry a greater risk, but the biggest risk of all is having frequent unprotected sex with multiple partners. Nothing is risky if your partner is not infected. Everything is risky if they are. What I see here is people who are not themselves fans of anal creampies obsessing over the issue because they'd rather blame it on that than face the harsh reality that this can be a dangerous profession."
Now tell me, why are some people so keen on speeding up the next outbreak? Nothing is risky if your partner is not infected. Everything is risky if they are. What kind of argument is that, I don´t get it, I really dont. Do you tell a construction worker who has some dangerous work to do, hey now that your job is so dangerous you might as well go without a helmet today. This adds to excitement and you know if your wooden framework breaks you´re dead anyway, so why discuss any more safety measures. accept your harsh fate.
" all the comparisons to safety in industry, which is a matter of law, not of choice." why oh why, shouldnt the porn biz be treated like any other biz? Due to the lack of common sense of some producers it might be only a matter of time till the gov steps in.
"You can't compare it to health and safety rules in other industries. They exist because no-one should be exposed to unnecessary risk. The only valid comparison I've seen in this thread is motorsport. There the risk is mitigated as much as possible by design of the cars, barriers etc. but not at the cost of excitement otherwise they'd all be limited to 55mph. Likewise, banning an entire sex act clearly does impact on the product, so there is a justification to allow calculated risks by personal choice." The essence of a porn movie is fucking. You can still fuck without creampie ending, this is no way essential. Now that I come to think about it, you can also fuck with condoms. I hope you don´t take your excitement out of watching people being put at the unnecessary risk of catching a lethal STD. I am thankful though, that you allow those fans who are concerned about the risks to maintain their ban list to have reference for future buying decisions.
I know its a circle discussion, but the outcome is always the same, the pro creampie and pro -no matter the risks- choice fans run out of arguments and leave the building, as they sooner or later realize their position is not to defend with any common sense left. So I feel the need to answer as it just doesnt look good to let one of those have the last word on this thread as most people don´t read all arguments brought up in here.
by the way my name is not Laura and I am no angel or whatever, if you want to talk about angels, ghosts and fairies join some fantasy forum. please keep this discussion on topic not on personalities.

First of all- let me just say that Astro is a damn good moderator and poster in general. Secondly- just because someone's opinions don't match those of your own does not mean that they are any less of a "good" moderator or poster. My opinions on this topic are opposed to many of those expressed in this thread. I think that the stars should determine for themselves whether or not they want to engage in a more dangerous sexual activity. Just as they would in their out of porn sex lives (do I have unprotected, anal or other dangerous sex with this guy/gal? Do I use that same needle that they just used? Do I go hang gliding tommorrow?). But of course this is my opinion just as many of you seem to have differing opinions on the subject. Funny thing about opinions, they don't mean anything more than any other opinion on a board unless they are put into action. If you want to boycott creampie porn, cool go right ahead- a few people will join you and a few will not but the world goes on both in and outside of porn and the product will continue to sell just as well I suspect. That's my opinion- not that it matters any more or any less than those in opposition.
This thread is not about condemning the actions of porn performers. The purpose of this list is to help porn consumers who may wish to avoid supporting this kind of reckless behaviour. There may well be some fans who fail to understand they hold a responsibility for their actions, and others who just don't care. They have my sympathy.
Everyone should take responsibility for their actions. Ignorance is no defense when education is so freely available. The unholy triumvirate of performers, producers, and consumers all have their rights and responsibilities. And it makes some posters look a little childish to constantly hide their responsibilities behind the rights of the performers.
Come on, guys. This is getting as childish as grade school.
What I'm going to do is put my mod hat on, and lock this thing, since everybody's have their say and it's going nowhere.
Lee O, I suggest you write Steph and/or Drew about whether they'll support having a bare-bones studio list as a sticky thread, sans commentary one way or the other. OK?
