When a girl decides to do porn, she oughta be free to do whatever and whoever she wishes with the prime aim of pleasing her fans rather than being bogged down by restrictions placed on her by her boyfriend or husband. Hell, thats why she's a pornstar in the first place! I get frustrated reading clauses like 'will only do B/G, Anal, ATM etc with so and so' on a porngirl's dancecard. Dont get me wrong, there are couples in porn who have a 'no holds barred' approach to business like Jules and Jenna or Gina and Travis to whom we are eternally thankful. Then at the other spectrum you have Kelly and Ryan or Tera and Spyder whose movies I simply dont watch. Variety is truely the spice of life (or porn in this case) and the more variety, the better!!
Your post in nonsensical to say the least. Simply due to the fact that you jerk off watching these women get fucked by other men doesn't give you ownership of them.
^ I wonder why you'd think that, since a) she was with Jack Venice for a long time before Pete and didn't do black guys then either, and b) Pete seems down with the brown, and even shoots his own series with all black girls. It doesn't make sense to me. The way I see it, if your partner is going to be fucking other people anyway, it's just silly to put restrictions on what kind of fucking they can do.
^ Well, if I was concerned about anal transmission of HIV (the riskiest behavior other than sharing needles), I might not want my girlfriend doing anal. (Don't hate the messenger)
If only you knew Pete you would realise he has nothing to do with it. But still I'm surprised that you are not yet over her. Many of us have long since moved on now.
Doesn't a sufficient amount of money usually trump the desires of a suitcase pimp?

I don't see why someone in porn would be with anyone that would restrict their career. They should want to please their fans. The ones who make them money. Everything should be open. Especially anal. ;) :p

Its a shame a newbie like Faye Reagan will only do B/G with Dane Cross. I guess the rest will have to be lesbian movies.

No, but it makes sense for the boyfriend to be part of the discussion, doesn't it? I'm NOT defending boyfriend/suitcase-pimp controlling the performer. I am, however, pointing out that, couples have discussions and make decisions together. What they do as performers and the partners comfort level are part of the mix. And, it cuts both ways. What if it is the male that is the performer? Would it not be "up for discussion" for his girlfriend to object/draw the line to Gay porn, for example?

I am married and my husband puts no restrictions on what I do. He has his own career, and as many of you know, I have a separate career away from adult work. What he does do is support me in my choices and helps me do the things that I want to do. As far as me making choices of what type of work to accept, I do what I like to do, and enjoy. Also, if as a woman, you feel you need your boyfriend or husband to make decisions for you, you need to rethink your life.

So, if you're married and your husband says don't cheat on him, it's still the female's choice to do as she wishes? I like the "old fashioned" way. As long as the husband is not a tyrant, he should be the head of the household. Like on Leave it to Beaver. ;) :p If someone wants an entirely independent life they don't need to be married. Since when do fans decide how far a performer should go? I see absolutely nothing wrong in couples deciding together where the limit is for them. It takes a very stable and open-minded man/woman to be married to someone that performs in pornscenes for a living. If there's a limit to how much he/she is willing to give up of his partner, then is that really such a big deal? People still like to feel they have something others can't get from their partner (outside of 'love'). There's more time in the day than the moments you are shooting your pornscene, so burning all your bridges just to go a little further in your scenes is far from the best choice if you've found a partner that you love. Life goes beyond porn, and I'd like to think the performers have the option to listen to their partner's requests just like any other man or woman in the world.
"I guess I have to ... or a male who lets women walk all over me to be here." How interesting that you consider it a weakness to treat people with equality and respect. If you can find a woman willing to let you walk all over HER, more power to you. But you better have the qualifications necessary to wield that kind of power. Like a genius IQ, a high-paying job, and God-like physical prowess. Marriage is about partnership.
Equality has gotten confusing over the years and the decades. I don't know what it is anymore. The more you think about it, the more you realize men and women aren't equal in anything. No matter how noble the intentions are, it seems like it always ends up the same. Either men have the advantage or women do. It never ends up with true equality. I'm all for it. Believe me. But how do you get there?

I'm largely in agreement with you. How can we achieve true equality when men and women ARE different? However, I do think it's possible to have a fairly equal marriage. I don't believe men need to be the boss hog, nor do I think women should push their husbands around. If a woman wants to have a traditional marriage, that's fine. And if a man wants to stay home with the kids, that's fine too. But for those of us living in this century, it's totally possible to have a marriage in which you share power with one another. Share in decision making, nurture the other's needs and pursuits, and treat them like a partner, not a possession.
I think the word compromise has to be mentioned. No one who is married can do "ANYTHING" they want to do, unless it is a totally one-sided deal. If you have an honest loving relationship, most of what you do in a marriage is a merger of your ideas and his. If I want to buy a new Porsche, Paint the master bedroom pink or have anal sex with my next door neighbor, my husband has a say in it, because he also shares in the repercussions of my decision and actions. So of course I think a significant other in a relationship with a porn star, should have a say in what the porn star does and doesn't do on camera, because it affects them in all facets of their life together. And just because they make those decisions together DOESN'T mean they can't have successful careers and a successful marriage. I'll point out Nicole Sheridan & Voodoo, Tera Patrick & Evan Seinfeld, Ashley Blue & Dave Naz, Nina Mercedez & Ray as a few healthy examples. Cindi Luke Is Back home page, where I live, lol.
Mindee, I dont know who you are or who your your husband is but if only all female pornstars possessed your mindset, porn fans everywhere would be alot happier!!

The question isnt about whether people have the right to set boundaries within the confines of their own relationship, the question goes to whether it is healthy for an entertainment industry for its stars to be seen as failing to appease its consumers. Its about profesionalism. Kobe Bryant could decide that its best for his family for him to not do road games. Thats fine for him, he can do what he wants but I might just find something else to do with that $100 the next time his team comes into town. Its alot of beautiful women in the world. All of them have sex, and most of them are having sex with thier significant others. Some of those women can be persuaded to put those interludes on the internet. I mean they all have cameras too right. Now Tera Patrick is a beautiful woman and so is Teagan Presly. They are also professional porn actresses that have established a reputation for being to able to produce outstanding adult content. Id like to see one of them fuck Lexington Steele. Unfortuantely for me the consumer, they are both in relationships and have decided that fucking Lexington Steele is something that in the words of Sugar Ray Leonard will "never happen". Now its 2009 and I can download, for free, quite abit of porn. I can definately see that beautiful girl down the street fuck her boyfriend for free. Im mean she did it get her kick and me watching her video will meet that need for her. I always feel a little guilty when I download porn because the industry is telling me that it will go broke if people like me keep doing that. Here is my question, when my favorite active, star is willing to do no more to entertain me than is the hot chick down the street, how much respect am I going to have for this industry? Mabey I have a little technical knowlege. Lets say, I know how to build a torrent site. I havent done it yet but I know how. I know that doing so will hurt the industry that produces the content I get off too. I also know that if I do build a torrent site, or a tube site, a lot of people would be able to obtain this content that wouldnt ordinarily be able to. So what Ive got to decide is does this industry deserve to be ripped off. Now right as I am making that determination, Tera Patricks new video comes out. In it, she is fucking, not Lexington Steele, or any of the other major male stars, but she is fucking her husband, the guy she was fucking in the last 20 of her movies. So its the same chemistry. Im basically watching a married couple fuck. Just like the ones down the street. Moreover is its hard for me too fantasize that mabey one day I will get to fuck Tera Patrick because, I know for a fact that, she only fucks Evan Seinfeld. You think this pisses me off, you think? Oh and by the way, she wants $50 for this new title. And so does Teagan Presley. And Im a bad guy If I dont pay for it. But I dont care Im going to build that tube site and rip this industry off and I will sleep well at night after I do it. Im not suggesting that the main reason porn is being stolen is because some actresses arent doing boy girl scenes. That would be absurd. But I have heard enough quite a few of the complaints about the industry from the people that do build these sites. They complain that the industry isnt producing content that is much more valuable than can be produced with a camcorder and internet connection. Now you may say that if that even if that Tera Patrick/Lex Steele movie comes out I could still steal it. Technically you'd be right but my point is that content isnt being stolen simply because the no-how exist now. Its also being stolen because many consumers feel that this industry has exploited them for years and that new technology has only served to expose the genuine worth of this content. If you think Im wrong, ask Digital Playground how valuable consumers considered Pirates to be. Did consumers think that the sex scenes in it that were available on the net was sufficiently entertaining as to be able to replace it, or were they willing to go out and spend 50 bucks for the real deal deal? Now it should be said again that girls not doing boy/girl scenes is not the reason the industry is in trouble but its a small factor.

I used the example of a porn consumer with a little bit of technical knowledge as an way to explore the mindset of the consumer that the industry is currently losing apparently at breakneck speed. Its a theoretical.

The industry is not "losing" because a few stars only do their boyfriends. There are a lot of reasons for the situation in the industry, but I can promise you that that's not it. Piracy, amateur porn, and the financial crisis are much larger factors. There are plenty of pretty girls to go around, contract and non-contract girls, and capitalism works pretty damn well. If a girl gets boring, she will stop selling pretty fast. You don't have any reason to worry about these girls doing their boyfriends. If people hate it as much as you, they will not earn money and be forced to quit or doing other guys again. If the market is happy with them doing their boyfriends, too bad for you.

I dont hate it, I just think its unprofessional. Again my example was a theoretical, not intended to exemplify my opinion but the opinions of consumers that for some reason are no longer buying porn. Im assuming that you think the industry will return to pre 2005 sales again once the financial crisis ends. Or do you think piracy and amateur porn have permantly hurt the industry? I want you to think about this. We're talking about a mature industry. Why is it that amateurs can offer content that consumers value just as much? Insofar as piracy, I tried to make the point that not all porn is being affected by it. Again, Pirates would be my example. Im certain it is the most successful title; released just as piracy takes off.

That's what they need to do or find another line of work. If you no longer care about pleasing the people who pay your salary then it's time to call it a day.
It's perfectly possible to please 'customers' within the limits performers set for themselves. Just because fans want to see anal, DP, bukkake, golden showers or even scat doesn't mean that the performers aren't pleasing the fanbase when they refuse to do those for whatever reason they may have. Everyone has limits, for whatever reason. That's something that has to be respected.

Your analogy is not appropriate. Its one thing for Scarlett Johansson to refuse to do nude scenes, its quite another for her to decide that she will only perform kissing scenes with her husband of boyfriend.
^ Are you referring to the step between vaginal and anal/scat/pee/beastiality? If so, it's the same thing. For YOU the step from pussyfucking to getting your ass pounded (as example) may be small, but to THEM it doesn't have to be that way. Don't weigh the feeling for them. If you were a male performer (which you may be), you can decide for yourself too if you want the girl to penetrate your ass with a strap-on on top of the standard pussyfucking that you do. Or aren't you being professional and pleasing the fanbase if you refuse that? Oh and if Scarlett Johansson feels like only performing kissing scenes with her partner, then so be it. She'll get less movie offers no doubt, but in the end it's a limitation she herself decides for whatever reason it is. Be it feeling dirty or uncomfortable, or be it valueing her jealous boyfriend over her carreer.

So, it's fine to have limits and ruin your career and you're jealous for having limits or the person asking their partner/ spouse to limit what they do has to be jealous? Seems you're sitting on the fence. It's a business. You have to want to please the people who pay your salary. Or, people will go on to the next girl or business.
^ Your first line doesn't make much sense, try to rephrase it please. As for it being a business, that's fine. But if you decide your business is to sell the best hotdogs in town, then people should be satisfied with that and go to Pizza Hut if they want pizza instead of demanding that you start making pizzas as well. Sure, you will lose customers that want both hotdogs and pizza, but if you have no desire to make pizza, this shouldn't hinder you. Leave it up to the performers to decide how far they want to get in their profession. What we think is the best way to reach and stay at the top is irrelevant. We're not the ones that have shit falling out of our asses the rest of the day cause there were 2 cocks in there earlier.
I can see the frustration as a fan, but be real. Assuming you have any say in how someone manages their personal relationships, and especially their sexuality is pretty fuckin' ignorant. Self important much? Yes it's a job but the sex trade is still far different than any other, no matter how much people pretend it's not. And believe it or not some girls would like to have someone at home once the cum is off their face, checks are cut and everyone goes home. Crazy huh? It's not anyones place to define someone else's relationship. I wanna see my fantasy, so the hell with her real life and her commitments! I wanna smash off! waaaah!!!!! OMG. www.makemoneyfucking.com

This isn't about hotdogs or pizza. Many young girls come into the business all the time. They can and will edge out the others if they are willing to go the extra mile.

This is really not anything different than the world of swinging. My wife and I have a few rules and have also played with numerous couples that have restrictions of some sort. As an example, the last couple we played with I wasn't allowed to fuck the girl but I was allowed to cum in her mouth. Some couples have "no kissing" rules as it's too intimate. Personally, I don't get being allowed to cum in someone's mouth but not be allowed to kiss them, but hey whatever works for you. Why should a porn girl be any different? It's what works for them.
