First off, I don't think these recent comments have been bashing Bibi at all. As to the producers, well, the rule is that we're not supposed to talk about people as if they aren't here. DP isn't here, in a substantive way, and hasn't been for a long time. Yes, occasionally they'll have a publicist come in and argue with people a little, but as far as I can recall, the guy that owned the company never posted here, and RobbyD hasn't posted since 2007. I don't think anyone claiming to represent the company has posted since the Manwin takeover except Monstar, who as far as I'm aware is just a publicist, not someone making creative decisions. You can't really claim that critical comments are going to run people out of the forum when they aren't here to begin with, and have never given much of an indication that they care what people here have to say about their product.
^IMHO, it's not just about the fact that the person isn't here for a few reasons. The first is that just because they aren't here doesn't mean that they don't or won't read it, and that just because they aren't here now doesn't mean they'll never be here. While he more than likely won't, Robby D could start posting again right now if he wanted to. Or any of DPs other directors, for that matter. The second is the simple fact that it creates a double standard of "You can't insult the directors/talent that post here, but you can insult the ones that don't". Does that mean that as soon as someone starts posting here, you lose the ability to insult them? Or how long do they have to have not posted before you consider them "not coming back" and can start insulting them again. The third is that while that person may not post here, someone else in the industry who is friends with that person might, and those posts could drive that person away. For example, IIRC, the last argument that Dana Dearmond got into that made her stop posting here wasn't even people talking badly about her, it was people talking badly about Dana Vespoli. Basically, it's just a easier on the part of the moderators to make it a blanket policy to not bash talent and producers, as opposed to deciding who it should and shouldn't apply to.
Not so much about Bibi directly, granted. It's why bring bitter feelings about other issues into the star's thread. The negativity about the studio and the voicing dislike of Manuel Ferrara and Keiran Lee is all about trolling and that's Monstar's overall point, I believe.

I'm not talking about personal insults. I'm talking about expressing the view that DP makes bad porn, which I think is the thrust of most of the comments that are made about the company here. Vivid at least attempted, to their credit, to respond to those kinds of sentiments when they hired Howard Levine (Hollywood Woody) and he engaged in a lot of dialogue with people here to try to find out what the customers wanted to see. I don't remember DP ever doing anything like that, or otherwise ever giving much of a shit about what anyone here thinks, which is why I think there is less of a need for restraint and biting our tongues when it comes to talking about DP.
Still... how a comment complaining about Manuel Ferrara's presence in an orgy scene enrichens the Bibi thread with sth useful about her, I don't get. That's a casting issue only, and therefore would have its place in the DP Like or Dislike Thread.
I was only pointing out Monstar's hypocrisy. If he is going to dish it out then he should be able to take it. Lecturing me on the moral high ground while he is standing in the gutter is comical. If he chooses to engage then it goes in both directions. I came into this thread with the hope of finding that Bibi was active again but shooting for someone other than DP. Where did you find this pic? Is there a bigger version? Is it part of a set? (And I know there are pics with her and Gronkowski in a bedroom together, I'm not talking about those ones. This is clearly taken at a different time/in a different room.)
I think it's just a pic in a hotel in Boston; the only relation to Gronk is she's wearing an imitation jersey. She wore it when she danced in Boston a year ago. A full-sized version's probably still available in her twitter archives; she danced there Superbowl weekend.

Exactly. While I never really warmed to Vivid's output I respected the hell out of Hollywood Woody for the way he interacted with us and explained why Vivid was doing the things they were doing. Hollywood Woody took all the criticism in stride and actually passed along our criticisms to the people at Vivid. He was always friendly and respectful and I believe 99% of the time he got that respect back from the posters. DP has, for all intents and purposes, right now one director. That's Robby D. Having 1 person direct 99% of your output isn't a good idea for ANY company. Some variety would be nice for everyone concerned. I think DP has some of the hottest girls but they are shot in a poor and boring style. If Robby decided to post again on this board I think he would be treated respectfully by people on here who are critical of how DP movies are being shot right now as long as he kept an open mind.

I'm not a legal beagle, but it would seem to me that if you're a contract girl and you take a break, the break doesn't void the contract. So, if she were a DP contract girl before the break and she comes back, she's still under contract. I would think that doing porn and other things attached to porn would make it hard for her to actually keep another job and why would she want to keep another job if doing porn is such a good thing? South's had a vendetta (probably legitimate, but worth noting) against Manwin for years because of their tube sites. A lot of his reporting is accurate, but too much is wrong in this one. Selena tweeted about legal troubles and having to miss a shoot, but anyone with access to a computer can see that she was able to travel out of state to AVN. Other commenters say Jesse's still shooting b/g, and Stoya's output has, if anything, increased. The BiBi story is a complete unknown; I'd think that South's version was a possibility if everything else wasn't wrong in his story. It would be difficult for her to flake on shoots, if she's only been back with them for a month, and has already completed a shoot. Riley, as I've noted on both her thread and the DP thread, seems to have vanished from DP several months ago. That's the story I'm very interested in: the girl who wins the AVN fan vote doesn't show up, and people aren't talking? Weird.
