^ Casting someone who has been doing IR for over a decade is lazy, there is literally nothing new to look forward to seeing in the scene that she hasn't been doing for years.
These sites were pushing the genre and industry forward for a long time but they got complacent when Greg stopped directing and they don't have any talent behind the camera capable of rallying the brand to move forward again. It's a bad sign when your own site's forum is rife with complaints about overusing subpar male talent and it's not even acknowledged, other than feebly saying "we listen" but the proof is in the pudding. They keep using the same limp dicked guys but the problems are now compounding with poor female casting. Adding to the ignored feedback when there is a token reply it's overwhelmingly only aimed at the people who trip over their own dicks to say how great the next scene is going to be every week.
You're heading for trouble when you only listen to the people who never criticize you.

You read a lot that the sites have lost quality since Lansky left. But what is different now? I was a member for a few months at the very beginning. And after just a few scenes I felt the product was incredibly boring and repetitive. Lansky shot the same girls in the same scenarios with the same 1-2 positions and the same 1-2 camera angles over and over again and over and over again. That was all very bad copy & paste in slow motion.
Also, many users are now complaining about limp male performers. Was it ever any different? In the very beginning Maxwell was in Blacked every scene and he never had a real erection. There was a lot of trickery with camera angles. And now people are starting to complain?
I disagree with what you describe as boring and repetitive, at least in terms of labels, I see the atmosphere in those early years as being what set them apart - there was no aggression, raceplay, or domination subtext in nearly any of the scenes. They were set up simply with a quick narrative or conversation to establish why these two people are in the same room and then right to the action. Add to that there was a larger pool of male talent so you didn't see the same guy week in and week out and when they struck gold with a popular model they mixed things up to capitalize on the momentum. As for positions, I mean we're kind of limited to what we're going to see unless it becomes a circus (LP) site or one of the rapey rimming or choking sites, but again the "soft" approach is what made them different from any other IR site at the time. Well-shot, non-aggressive, and visually good looking IR scenes that were female-friendly was brand new at launch and continued for first couple of years before the transition.
Much of what you say is true. Some scenes were great, many others seemed to have come out of a cookie cutter. I think the repetitiveness began as soon as they switched to tripod primarily instead of hand-held camera, which was very early on. Set the thing up and don't move around too much. Now, some hand-held was used in brief spots in a few scenes that got "special attention" over the years...Nicole Aniston for example, Ella Reese recently. Several of the early scenes with stunning girls were wasted due to filming limited number of positions. The Addison Belgium, Farrah Flower, 1st Allie Rae and Shawna Lenee scenes were absolutely criminal in regard to lack of positions, for example. Some of the girls I love were never shot in cowgirl over multiple scenes! Overall though, their style is still somewhat better than what most other studios are doing, many of which have the same, and other problems.
Extremely glad another foursome is coming up....hope it is much better than the last one!
^I'm a subscriber and Britney Amber isn't something I would complain about. Though I agree with the low ratings for Kay Carter.I guess I don't understand that mentality. I care more about quality than whether something is happening for the first time or not. I've been a fan of Britney Amber for the past decade, and I dig this site, so why wouldn't I want to see her on it?

It's not that you won't or shouldn't want to see her, you're a fan so you're on the inside looking out. But for people who aren't fans of hers or simply don't care to see another retread scene - those on the outside looking in - it's a letdown. The larger point I'm going for is how many times are we going to be given the same old same old before they step up their game like they used to?
So Britney Amber fucks a black guy - there's 10yrs of her content that can be viewed and reviewed at will. As a fan you dig it, as an apathetic viewer I don't get excited hearing the name Britney Amber. It's not enough to make one sliver of people happy every couple of weeks, so where's the draw for those of us who are on the fence or aren't keen to see >model name<? Is there an exciting roleplay or a theme? Is there something different or new she's doing? Is there an exotic set or something at all out of the ordinary?
No? Just another "girl gets fucked over a table or couch" scene?
So it's yet another skippable week on an increasingly skippable site that used to be great.
This site began as one of the most reliable and consistently high quality, but that's no longer the case.
There are too many variables at work now which results in a weaker site overall.
Aside from the variables in casting, type of scene, location etc. you can also no longer rely on it even being a particularly hot or well directed scene, even if it is a performer you like.
They've overstretched their capacity with the creation of the additional sites and seemingly been listening to the vocal minority endlessly saying "more non-white girls", "more MILFs", "Jessie Jane would break the internet" (it didn't), "Teanna Trump would break the internet" (it didn't), "Kayden Kross would break the internet" (it wouldn't).
If you try to please everybody at the same time, you end up with the inconsistent product we've witnessed over the past couple of years.
A little late here but just saw the Addie Addison scene. When I read the reactions I thought people were overexaggerating but I was wrong; she seemed completely disinterested the whole way through. Complete with the lame bush cum-shot finish, what a lousy scene.

WOW! There sure is a lot of complaining in this thread! I have a couple of issues of my own. But even with all this complaining Blacked/Blacked Raw is still the no.1 entity when it comes to interracial porn. Year after year they have taken just about every award in any IR category. Can you name any other company that has come even close to have as many awards in the IR category? You still have women who only shoot IR with them.
I guess it should be a compliment to Blacked that the complaining is not in comparison to other interracial product in porn but to their other (non IR) productions.
I see where you're coming from. But if someone wasn't a fan of a star who had not previously fucked black guys on film, why is that any different? Either you're a fan of someone or you're not. And chances are if you have a Blacked membership, youre a fan of the IR genre in general. Right?

Other than Teanna Trump (black), Gabbie Carter (part black I've been told) and Lulu Chu (Asian), every single female featured so far in 2020 has been white. I for one have requested that they feature more Asian women, but I won't keep my fingers crossed. This site is dominated by white women and I don't see how anyone can say it's not.

A few updates with non-white girls, a few more MILFs, a few more retreads with familiar faces, a bunch of Euro scenes... the end result is a very different site than the one we used to enjoy. And a side-effect is that some of the biggest talents that have emerged in the past couple of years have been MIA or ignored altogether on what was initially the forefront of exclusive and new talent. All I can tell you is that I find far fewer updates appealing today than I once did. And with the direction as weak and aimless as it has become, even when they do hire someone you like there's no guarantee that it won't be a misfire. Meddling with the formula has robbed the site of much of what put it head and shoulders above the rest.

Found the following pic of Jia on Twitter. Not sure where they got it but it has to be the next Blacked scene, right? Doesn't match any of her current scenes. Glad to see her back again and with a decent looking guy, looks like Alex Jones, though it would be strange to see him on Vixen with Valentina Nappi then a week later see him on Blacked. But they've had black guys on Vixen before so it's not totally unprecedented.
So it was pushed back due to a cap on pre-filmed scenes prior to the outbreak? That makes sense but eventually they will run out of scenes altogther if this virus continues into July

Kayden Kross actually would break the internet. She looks amazing. Jessie didn't look like she used to, and Teanna, while a decent scene, just isn't the type of scene that built this site. As for the upcoming scene....I think Jia has had more than her share of scenes and I've seen enough of her. There are plenty of other Euro girls or girls who only have one or two scenes under their belt. For example, just because Legalporno films some beautiful girls in their garbage scenes doesn't mean all those girls should now be off limits for Blacked. As for the direction problems....I thought the Ella Reese/Louie Smalls scene was wonderfully filmed and choreographed and more scenes should look like that.
Forgive me for being dense, but why would the virus prevent them releasing the scene?

I just watched the Haley Reed scene on DarkX, and compared to her blacked scene, it literally looks like they short two different chicks. Blacked does magic work with the cameras, not sure why other studios are unable to do the same.
