^ He's confused? Greg hasn't been involved with these sites for a while now. Also, there were some classier looking scenes on Raw, but the guys who are running the show often choose to cater to a number of very vocal fetishists, or their own fetishes, presumably. Raw simply means lower production value than Blacked proper. I wish it would mean more organic and realistic, though. The fetishes often displayed are directorial choice, not necessarily integral to Raw.
They need to hit some home runs because more and more of their scenes are being rated in the 7's and even 6's by members. There are also a lot of critical comments on the recent scenes. These could be guys who will complain every week but still give their money every month and remain members, but a lot of them could very well cancel, especially with how sparse the updates are now. It's a shame because I really feel like the site got off to a great start this year with releases like Dana Wolf, Kenzie Madison, Ella Reese and Hazel Moore. But this has given way to many rather forgettable scenes...in some cases with great casting choices, but poorly shot and just boring to watch.
If they are limited to just filming for a few months, they really should try to do the following IMO:
1) Shoot some big names that they haven't yet showcased. Savannah Bond immediately comes to mind.
2) Do another feature like they did for Kendra Sunderland, complete with a story-line and characters. Even if it's the same generic cuck storyline from the Kendra film, I wouldn't mind. But they could spread that out over a couple of months and make a DVD worthy of buying.
3) Shoot a couple of gangbangs like the Lena Paul and Kali Roses ones that came out at the end of 2018. We haven't had a true gangbang since. Blacked veterans like Karla Kush or Bree Daniels would be good bets.
4) Bring back the sexy dialogue that used to be in every scene, and have more unique themes. We saw this in the Dana Wolf scene, but why is it so rare now?
That's my opinion as a longtime member. I don't think I'm asking too much...merely asking for this site to get back to what it was even just one year ago: a site where I would look forward to almost every scene. I have no plans to cancel my membership but it would be nice if I enjoyed it for more than just the library.

They are suffering from newsworthy headliners and quality new talent, and while they have some newcomers (to VMG sites anyway) they are largely cookie-cutter models in cookie-cutter scenes and it all blends together into a hazy cloud of who cares?
The solution isn't giving people more of the same that they have already seen by looking into a performer's back catalog but by developing new names and lesser-knowns into a reason to sub. The watering down of the brand name with mediocre female talent and male "talent" recruited from the Twitter is making appearing on these sites nothing special, or at minimum, nothing more remarkable than any other site.
The proof is in the pricing - it's a $10/mo site. If they could get more they would, but there's a reason why it's cheaper than every other site they claim to be better than.

You are right.They are asking $30/month. Everyone does because of tacit collusion. And they are getting tons of sales at that price.
They run the $10 promo only during a couple of holidays like thanksgiving/black friday. If you see a $10 outside of a major holiday or site launch, it's probably because they are running into chargeback issues and must increase transaction count.
Other big companies also run $10 promos, but prefer different channels. For example, the main site stays at $30, but wholesalers like idealgasm, get to run the $10 deal for a limited time. Mindgeek sells regular memberships at $30, but is super aggressive with $10 or less, for upsells of their other brands once you get in the door, or when you try to cancel.
For the right reasons, it's a volume game. For example, if a $30 membership gives you a cLTV (customer lifetime value) of $100, and a $10 membership gives you a cLTV of $50, you may get volume similar to this:
$100 x 25 = $2500 vs $50 x 100 = $5000
You earn more with the $10 (cLTV $50) memberships, but you dont run it all the time because it lowers the price perception over time, and because you don't need to with tacit collusion.
Tacit collusion as a whole, is a fallacy for many porn sites. You wrote "there's a reason why it's cheaper than every other site they claim to be better than" which posits the higher pricing of other sites means better quality and revenue, but another possibility is their competitors are relying on tacit collusion too much as a crutch and NOT lowering the prices to better represent the perceived value, thereby hurting potential sales. If you look at some of BLACKED's competitors which launched to great fanfare, most have exited the conversation, and relegated to imprints or part of a network, such as Blacked Is Better, and DarkX.
I can see why you say it's "more of the same" but let me say this: a lot of the new faces on this site are just not impressing the members lately. People haven't liked the Euro girls lately (judging by the ratings and comments) and the American models are - as you put it - "cookie cutter" in nature. If you could get some standout girls who haven't yet appeared on Blacked (Savannah Bond, Kenna James, Vanna Bardot, etc.) I think they would get a much different response. Don't you? And I agree, easing up on the overuse of Pressure would definitely help.
I think it's reasonable to bring repeats back for new scenes, especially when they have a history of highly rated scenes. If you sign up from them directly they'll gouge you for the full amount or a token $5 discount. But if you head over to nearly ANY site that offers discount deals these sites are all $10 or maybe $15 depending where you're at. There is zero reason to pay more than that unless you literally don't take the 45 seconds it takes to search for a deal. If that's the case you (the consumer) deserve to be fleeced. Would you walk onto a car lot and buy at their sticker price or would you look online/around for the same car to compare pricing? It really is that simple.
And I know how elasticity works which is why I'm not buying the idea that another site, let's use JulesJordan because he's active here, refuses to budge on their sub cost because of a perceived lack of value - they simply don't need to. The boys over at Jules Ford know that you'll buy his fully-loaded sedan for $20-25/mo so there is no reason to drop it down lower because Lansky Chevy sells their stripped down sedan for $10-15. Could he sell more, probably, but he doesn't need to because people are already willing to pay more without the price slash. If that weren't the reality of things then all sedans would be continually lowered so that anyone could buy in regardless of options, but that's not the case. This brand is suffering from previously low and now decreased output, decreased quality (based on their own member reviews if you choose to use that metric), and a crumbling reputation for talent which to me all wrap up into both perceived and actual low consumer value.
When they first bottomed out at $10 and were still being trumpeted as the premier 'x' sites I really began using cost vs value in all my potential subs across the board. These sites are $10-15/mo for 4 scenes - roughly $3 per scene if you bought them individually. Pick any VMG site you want, how many scenes from 2020 would you pay $3.00 to keep? Has there been a single month that ALL four updates were worth their combined cost? What you're left with is the actual value, to you, for these sites. That can change any time for any reason, but if you think about it you'll see that even at a paltry $10-15/mo they probably still aren't worth it on a scene by scene basis over 2-3 months let alone one.

The casting has become more inconsistent and mediocre, it's true. But the biggest problem is the deterioration of the direction and production value. That means that even when they do have exclusive access to a performer or land a great cast the scenes they're creating just don't match their potential.
The best example recently being the Gabbie Carter / Skylar Vox scene. A few years back, having these two IR exclusive, naturally big-titted, bombshell rookies would've been treated as an event for this site. Instead we got a low effort, mediocre scene with zero sex appeal that was instantly forgettable in my opinion. And there's been so much wasted potential like that between Blacked & BlackedRaw these past few years it's shameful. I know some people don't like the Euro scenes (for some reason beyond my comprehension), but at least they don't hold back on the production front.
Alice Pink shouldn't be a bad hire. She's cute, got a nice body, was willing to do anal, but the scene turned out cheap and awkward because the direction and production value is sub-par.
