Gabbie doing that many scenes in such a short time is exactly why some don't care she's appearing again. It's nothing new or that she hasn't done already and she's still a mediocre performer. Her first IR solo scene is pretty much all that is left on the checklist for her, in terms of mainstream scene popularity anyway.
Blacked seems to have stepped it up a bit lately with better overall scenes and casting choices (kudos), but like others have mentioned previously, why can't we get a good Gabbie Carter 1 v 1 scene? And if you can make that happen, don't try to overthink it with the weird dark lighting that sometimes invades a few scenes or any of those other odd choices that seem to ruin what could have been good scenes - i.e., shirt stays on 90% of scene, little or no reverse cowgirl (this happens a lot on Blacked and it's really unfortunate), bad angles/positions (BlackedRaw has a lot of scenes where the girl is on her back and the larger male talent is laying on top of her and basically obstructing the view of the female talent).
Also, can we get a Allie Nicole scene with reverse cowgirl? Both of her scenes have had 0 time in that position... a standard in almost every other scene from any other company.
Boy, that Lulu Chu scene is typical of everything I can't stand about the current state of the American scenes on Blacked. The introduction was so boring and unsexy.
You got Lulu sitting around in a dress. Standing round in a dress.
We get a brief glimpse of her tits as she's sitting in bed, then she covers herself up and lies down in bed for like 30+ seconds.
Then she gets up, takes off her robe... but aside from a millisecond glimpse of her boobs we can only see her from the neck up. The rest of her body is out of shot most of the time.
Then... get this... she puts clothes on! And not even in a sexy way. She hurriedly pulls on some shorts out of frame.
Then we get a couple of seconds where we see her tits... from a distance... through glass... before, again... she puts clothes on, a long sleeved top, and covers her boobs.
Then she's standing around talking for another 30+ seconds with barely any glimpse of her body.
She finally reveals her boobs again about 5/6 minutes into the scene, by which time we've already seen more lingering shots of the dude's dick than we have of any part of her body. Then we're treated to some tight close-up shots of the dude's dick while her face is half out of frame.
Her shorts don't come off until 8+ minutes into the scene and the stupid long-sleeved top stays on until almost 12 minutes into the scene.
It's all so needlessly bland and distracting.
If anyone from the Blacked social media team is actually monitoring these comments, well, the lack of focus on making these scenes and the women in them look sexy these days is really apparent now, although standards have been deteriorating over a couple of years.
And we know it can be done because over on Deeper, Kenna James and Kayden Kross are doing practically an entire strip show to start the latest update. The entire introduction to the latest Tushy update focuses on a fully naked Whitney Wright toying her ass for 5 minutes.
But Lulu Chu is just standing around in a dress or lying in bed clothed.
Most porn fans still expect the women to be the focus but, for some reason, almost exclusively on your interracial sites, your directors are obsessed with clothed women and boring, unsexy set-ups to the scenes.
Where's the lingerie? Where are the swimsuits? Where are the lingering close-ups of the women? Where are the sequences of the women soaping themselves down in the shower or emerging from a pool in slow motion?
This site used to be your flagship but, outside of the European scenes where Julia Grandi still takes the job seriously, the inferior production standards for this site and Blacked Raw are obvious.
LOL And?? A performer who is part or majority African American/Black is not an excuse to do a numerous amount of anal scenes before shooting with a black guy. I didn't support Holly Hendrix (who is half black) when she did everything, and I won't with Gabbie either.

Wow, that was a long-winded post there, SM009. With that being said, I have to agree with you, Blacked could really do a better job of "showing off" the girls in the beginning of the scene. As you pointed out, Julia Grandi seems to do a good job of showing off the girls in the beginning, where we get to see the babes in sexy bikinis or lingerie. Unfortunately, it's all too rare on Blacked. For me, an example that sticks out in my mind of them doing it right was Gianna Dior's last Blacked scene, the 2 guys/1 girl threesome. In the beginning of that scene, I really enjoyed seeing her - by herself - in the bedroom putting on that beautiful white lingerie. When it comes to "showing off" the girls at the start, that's all I'm asking for-a couple seconds where we get to see the girl wearing/putting on something sexy and walking around in it.
Have you guys ever thout about doing a ir anal site? I think there would be enough interest in one, you could call it BlackedTushy and it would be great if it was shot in the same style as TushyRaw. ^^^ Yeah, I wanted to illustrate exactly how specific choices by the director killed the scene's vibe from the get-go.
That Gianna Dior scene was a good example of them rarely doing things properly, like they used to. And that sequence of her in the lingerie did nothing to detract from the supposed plot.
Another bad example was the recent Allie Nicole scene. They put her in these tight leggings but then shoot her at a distance, through a glass door, down a hallway.... And she gives the dude a half-assed lapdance but half the shots are of her face, or the other people in the room or shown through a phone cam. There's zero passion or style.
They could've made that her failed "audition", then had her perform a proper striptease once the action heated up. But, nah, she's still wearing the leggings 12 minutes into the scene and doesn't remove her sports bra and expose her tits until 24 minutes into a 37 minute scene.
These are active choices they're consistently making which are rendering their former flagship site and its sister site bland and forgettable.
Look how fucking incredible they look in that promo pic ^.
Yet in the scene itself they're gonna be wearing jeans and a dress and taking part in a fucking free throw competition.

^ is it possible they're leaning toward appealing to a segment of viewers who only show up for the cock? If the main focus of the scene is on the dick then you have to imagine that's either what they're thinking the viewers want to see or the director is incompetent at shooting a scene aimed at a straight male audience.
As others have pointed out here, and it's doubly true in the JJ thread especially, there is a LOT of cock talk. Not performer talent talk, theme/rp talk, or model debut talk. Just cock talk and an unflinching desire to see more of it.
If this is the new direction they want some of their scenes to go in then so be it, but at least be up front about it.
^^^ There's similar fretting over the male talent on their other sites' threads, but they haven't lost sight of their aesthetic to the degree that Blacked has. And most of the top rated comments on any Blacked scene are about the women anyway, so I don't know why they're determined to cover them up and push them out of frame so frequently.
I don't know if the directors are responsible for the insipid style they've adopted or if they're under instruction, but they've been getting away with it for a couple of years now, more or less since around the time Lansky stopped directing early-2018.
I look back at scenes a few years ago and they've got so much more style and allure. Beautiful women in lingerie, posing, stripping, teasing, playing with themselves...
Now it's often just women standing around fully clothed before the sex begins and more often than not left with some drab item of clothing still hanging off them halfway through the scene.
It's easily fixed, but clearly they don't care anymore.

I'm not sure if the whole planet is aware by now but SM009 really hates fully-clothed pornstars.

I hate to say it, but the newest scene with Gabbie Carter fucking sucke! Only two positions. Riding and doggy. No missionary or from the side. Very much agreed. That was hot stuff. They should do more of it. Need to do it during the sex, too. Add me to those that found the Gabbie/Skylar scene rather weak. I certainly won't say I found no enjoyment in seeing them getting fucked. But the scene felt passionless and forced. I also agree with those criticising the way the foursomes are being shot. The direction style has changed. Check out the old foursomes directed by Lansky and the women are both on camera, side by side getting fucked 90% of the scene. It's the new directors that settled upon the constant angle changes, close-ups and shots with one girl getting fucked in the foreground and the other in the background, sometimes obscured by the other performers.
The change in American direction has been one of the biggest contributing factors to this site's downturn in quality over the past couple of years.

Was happy to see Gabbie in another scene and liked the pairing with Dylan, but it certainly wasn't their best scene and didn't live up to my expectations mainly because of the issues you pointed out. It's irritating how many times they have a slam dunk with the casting and then botch it with the directing, positions/angles or (not in this scene) the lighting, clothes never coming off, etc. If they would have just had the scenes from the photos where they were both side by side, it would have been much better.
Does Blacked shoot extra footage or is what's in the scene it? Because if they have footage of GC and DV riding side by side and then both getting doggie from behind (again side by side), I wanna see it.
^ Thank god she was cast with Joss, may have saved the scene.
Whoever told Freddy Gong it was a good idea to cover his teeth with so much gold that he has to concentrate in order to close his mouth deserves a foot in the ass.
