The only 2 issues with blacked.com I have is that they don't have a pov bj sigment in their scene for example like girlsdoporn do. Also they never do the prone bone position which I like especially when the guy pounds the girl hard and the camera captures her whole body especially her booty :). Hopefully DarkX.com do this :).

^ One thing I noticed in the preview clips, before they were taken down, is that the scene set-ups had a bit of a darker edge to them. Blacked's set-ups seem comparatively safe and vanilla-ish. If the more dangerous set-ups are typical of the what the site has to offer than that will be something new.

i'm not a member of blacked.com and i find it the most boring site ever, but saying that you are not following what others ( blacked ) are doing is ridicolous. I hope you find your own style and not trying to emulate blacked.com. Ex : do not cut ATM, show the transition from one position to another, use hands to move the camera... my 2 cents
Sounds like it will be pretty distinct from Blacked according to the official press release:The bit about, "not shying away from anal, DP's and Gangbangs" is what struck me. It looks very similar to Blacked judging by the trailers, and the industry wonders why it's losing money when they all do the same thing. There's even 2 more Blacked clones in the works. They'll probably put each other out of business.
^ Actually, the focus on "fresh" natural performers is something that anyone can do if they set out to do it (it's basically what Team Skeet is doing in their Blacked copycat). The thing that makes Blacked tick is Lansky. If it were anyone besides him (or someone of his stature) the site would basically be an also-ran. And I do think that "like Blacked, but rougher" is a niche out there to be filled. My only question is if they're going to shy away from the older or less natural performers like Blacked has. I'm hoping not, but even HardX and EroticaX slant towards young and natural nowadays.
We welcome feedback, but isn't it a better idea to actually see the site/scenes (and not just a staging glimpse) before denouncing it all through the thread? It's also a little premature given that the site hasn't launched to try and define a body of work, not all of which was even present during that brief moment people got a peek at it. It's a growing market and it will continue to grow as long as people with imagination like Mason have the courage to step outside of the box. If anything, that market will benefit from having high quality producers reaching new audiences. If you looked at the genre five years ago, you'd be hard pressed to have predicted that it would be what it is today. I'll be able to say the same thing again five years from now. I'll also say that given how often we've been copied and emulated ourselves, i'm not going to post about what we are doing that makes us different, particularly when we are still booking and shooting material that will set us apart when our competitors are being so instantly reactionary to the news of our launch. I can say, however, that 'I told you so' is going to feel pretty good when I get to say it and it's not going to take very long for that to happen. Being compared to our competitors is inevitable, but HardX had competition and stood out for a reason, so did EroticaX. DarkX will too.

I really think this is going in a completely different direction than Blacked. More hardcore, different body types, switch ups with the canera angles and not chasing new performers. Blackisbetter.com is more like Blacked whereas Darckx.com is something completely different imo. And lol what are the 2 new sites?

Pretty much the type of girls the above poster has written in the last 3 posts. I tend to favor more "curvier" girls than what Blacked puts out. Similar to the type of girls they had when they first started...ie: Candice Dare, Jillian Janson(when she was thicker) Brooke Wylde would be nice as well. I will throw in Alena Croft too. These are the type of girls i'm really into.

So DarkX vs Blacked will be actually director Mason vs director Lansky. They are both very talented porn directors and the very best in the industry. Very interesting to watch. Some people say Lansky has copied Mason's style. I don't know about that but I think competition is great since it brings out the best in people. I do wonder though if there are enough black male performers? Some have exclusive contracts (like Flash Brown) so that makes the limited pool of black male talents even smaller for other companies. Maybe the sites launched around the same time, but the HardX brand definitely predates Blacked by a significant margin. And Mason has been ahead of the curve for over a decade now. Lansky is cool and has his own approach, and I don't see any need to dismiss one in favor of the other, but just from my observation it seems like Mason has had her presence felt for longer. There's nothing ridiculous about it. People have been biting off Mason's style for a while now.

Anal on Blacked is a rarity, and there have been no dps or gangbangs on the website. DarkX will not be a carbon copy. On the other hand, I really do hope that DarkX is influenced by Blacked's best features, especially the amount of kissing in Blacked's scenes. As far as I'm concerned, unless they've spent real time on the kissing in each scene DarkX will be just another IR site.

I don't care too much about which girl will be. I want to see IR DP scenes or even IR GB on DarkX. You can beat BLACKED easily if you do that. IR DP scenes with Jillian Janson and Keisha Grey would be a perfect start. Sarah Vandella, Alena Croft, Nikki Benz, Ashlee Graham... can be next ones. The second thing is Mandingo. BLACKED took all best black male talents Flash and Jason primarily. Mandingo must be your leading man. Mandingo + IR DP is a winning combo.

Shooting IR DPs and gangbangs is great but I don't think that it will necessarily make DarkX competitive with Blacked. Blacked is offering erotic IR. That is the market that they have cornered. DarkX may or may not tap into that market.
