To all those saying it's a Blacked clone, if you were to judge Blacked by the first set of scenes they released, you would have called Blacked a Teens Love Huge Cocks clone (though, in that case, it would have been Lansky copying himself). The formula that Blacked uses now isn't the only way they've ever shot scenes, and it isn't how the majority of their first set of scenes played out. Mason/DarkX has already said the basic way in which they plan to differentiate themselves (by bringing a harder edge with more anal, DPs and gangbangs). And there's also the fact that Mason's directorial style likely means she won't fall into the main issue that I have with Blacked scenes (which is that it feels like there's no spontaneity and positions are just checked off of a list instead of flowing naturally). Yeah this is what I was thinking. Sometimes the real 1st IR doesn't technically make it to street first. In any case, it's definitely her first time with Mandingo and that's kinda like a big deal no matter how you put it. Like a really big deal.

^ I've been wondering the same since this thread appeared-shouldn't it be in the Porn News - Press Releases forum? By the way, I saw a couple people mention the 2-day trial...is it a full-access trial?
All three threads (this, Blacked, Tushy) fit in both subforums, the only real difference is that this subforum is where this one was created. If this thread had been created in the press release section (or if the other two were created in Porn Pool), they probably would have stayed there.

Thank you for setting the record straight. Maybe a couple posters in here are not up to speed, but... ...why are so many ppl in here throwing shade on this new site? This is DarkX not ShadeX. SMH... I'm honestly starting to wonder if some of them have an agenda. At best they are just being overly cynical and overly critical at this point. I stand by my initial impressions of this young site. They are still new and the content looks to be top notch.

Plus Lex interviewed Sara and asked her about IR she said she did two scenes with Mandingo and had another already scheduled and he has become her favourite talent to work with, he then asked her whether she would do a scene with him, she said: yes but not anal. Hmm, okay. Sounds good, as long as I can stream each scene and view all the pics. As excited as I am about this new site, I'm compelled to hold off on purchasing a full membership to it because of the (current) limited number of scenes and, as far as I can tell, the current update rate is just one per week. Also, I just purchased a HardX membership earlier this week (long overdue) and I make it a habit to not purchase multiple paysite memberships at the same time. The only thing that could persuade me to give in would be if I got some good promotional offer in my HardX member's inbox. (I'm lookin' at you, hardxj.) By the way, FlacFan, I think you've made it very clear to everyone here that you don't like this site; there's no need for you to keep "throwing shade" on Mason and DarkX here by making one snarky post after another. Yeah this site is bananas now. I'm so hyped for it. Glad the Kelsi scene is gonzo which shows DarkX is going to change it up now and then. I think if they bring Kelsi back for a future update later on, they could try a narrative scenario. I think this willingness to try different formats is helping set DarkX apart. I mean when it really comes down to it, there isn't a radical difference between gonzo and plots when appraising the core content, but the less formula I think the better. It's precisely because porn sites are so inherently limited in scope and production opportunity which I think experimenting as much as they can is definitely to their advantage. Like I said, even Blacked has felt the need to deviate from their fixed camera shots more and more. Now they're doing some close-up hand-held camera work in tandem with the staged shots. Evolution and iterative development is inevitable. I'm not against plots or anything at all. I enjoy the creative attempts at some dramatization, as some turn out to enhance the scene greatly. I just like BOTH, so I'm glad gonzo is still around. I'm a big fan of Olivia. She was one of my favorites for the 2000-2010 era. But just to my eyes I think Kelsi is more comparable with Isis Taylor. as to the discussion of people throwing shade on DarkX so far - I've seen a few scenes. It's like a lower budget Blacked. More professional/polished looking than most of Dogfart's content, but not quite as elegant as Blacked. Scenes are not as smoothly filmed and edited, but are as vanilla as Blacked (if you'll pardon the pun) as far as sexual content. No Anal, No DP, no swallowing in any of the scenes I've watched. 2 or 3 standard positions and weak, dodged cumshots. There are going to be obvious comparisons to Blacked just because of content and timing of the site release.
I'd like to see black, Latino women on this site as well as white women. Well they did make a press release statement saying they intend to feature anal, DP, and gangbangs. Give them a little time. Considering how those are premium budget types of scenes, in that they all cost extra, they will probably want them to be extra hyped scenes. Right now they are laying groundwork with quality IR and some pretty damn fuckin hot IR exclusive debuts. And so far all the reviews I've heard of the scenes they launched with are very good. Already I appreciate the presence they are establishing by being high quality and gonzo. Blacked doesn't do this. Besides HardX and JJV, I can't think of many other significant brands who are doing such polished gonzo in IR. For me personally the real star here is Mason. To date the vast majority of her oeuvre has consisted of vanilla, and I don't even like vanilla much, yet I still always keep my eye on her work because it's that good. So Mason adding a lot more swirl to her work with this site is such an instant-boner festival I can hardly contain my hype.

Speaking of Kagney, probably my favorite scene with her was in HardX's Blondes Go Black. She looked incredible. Mason captured her so beautifully, it was a work of art.
I'm hoping Mason got to Josie Jagger before she switched to only doing G/G scenes. I saw her post a picture of her and some guy with a lot of hearts as the caption. Looks like another one bites the dust... smh
