In other news, this is a review of a recent scene between Katie Kush and McKenzie Lee, which is part of Lesbian Seduction 76. Overall it's a very nice scene with some pleasant surprise to me. I have not watched a Mckenzie scene before (or at least any that I remember), because frankly I don't find her all that attractive, especially with the rather, very questionable (let's say) boob job. I'm interested in this scene mostly for Katie. Yet it turns out McKenzie is the better performer in this scene.

I like the "seduction" scenario. Katie overacts a bit here, but overall it has a nice buildup. The kissing and foreplay are very nice. Whether the sex on GFF is "realistic" is debatable. To take one example: there's almost no sex toys in contemporary GFF scenes, yet as I've pointed out elsewhere, according to available public survey data (there's not much of it, to be sure), probably 50-60% actual lesbian and bisexual women use sex toy in their sex lives. Interestingly, in the earliest Women Seeking Women videos back in 2002, they did use sex toys.

I think this probably is mostly a reverse-recency bias, so to speak ("recency bias" is giving too much weight/consideration to things happened in recent past as opposed to distant past). When thinking of long ago GFF videos (or any other companies' videos), by definition, we would only remember those that are, well, memorable, i.e., good. Those not good, i.e., not memorable, are literally forgotten. So looking back people tend to unconsciously put on rose-tinted glasses. When looking at newer scenes, we notice all the good ones and not so good ones, and the not so good ones haven't had a chance to be forgotten yet, so the most recent stuff look more mediocre in comparison to the things in distant past.

There are plenty of women in contemporary GFF that are very good at g/g scenes. And the reverse is also true: just about all the women who are good at g/g porn have starred in GFF. There are only a few exceptions that I can think of: Anna Claire Clouds, Alina Lopez, Evelyn Claire. All the major award winners in my "superstars" project over the past 10 years have starred in GFF films.

The drama at the beginning didn't really play that well because Vivian's acting is really kind of flat. In contrast to the sex later, here Marilyn does the better job. Anyway, both women look gorgeous, and when the foreplay starts, the kissing is absolutely gorgeous, and they kiss a lot throughout the scene.

Here, to me, is the central shortcoming of the scene: Marilyn's oral style is just sort of slow, steady, relatively shallow licking. It doesn't feel energetic, and it's difficult to believe Vivian got a lot out of it. When Marilyn uses her fingers, her nails are a bit too long.

They then go into a loooong 69, which is not my favorite position to watch to begin with.
