This is a review of a scene between Nicole Aria & Serena Hill, released on 1/3/24 online, as part of Lesbian Ghost Stories 7. This scene shows Nicole as an excellent sexual performer. Serena is very cute and very nicely responsive, but unfortunately not very good at pleasuring Nicole.
Nicole and Serena are being interviewed for a ghostly encounter. The "ghost story" is as cheesy and nonsensical as I suspected (check out the special effects). For some reason a ghost whispers to the two girls, asking them to kiss. Nicole is at least pretty committed to the role, such as it is, but Serena seemed pretty checked out.
The more experienced Nicole takes charge of the very sexy foreplay. The kissing is not very good, but everything else is very sexy, with Nicole kissing and touching the very cute Serena all over.
Nicole's oral is excellent, with her sexily and eagerly licking and sucking on Serena.
The best part of the scene is when Nicole puts one finger inside Serena. Not pumping in and out, but curling it repeatedly to hit just the right spot inside Serena. When she starts to also lick and suck on Serena's clit, it really got her off beautifully.
Unfortunately a big part of the middle scene is not very good. Serena spends a long time just lightly rubbing and fingering Nicole, with seemingly very limited enthusiasm. They then do a 69 with Serena on the bottom. I can't see much, but from what I can see, her oral is very tentative here too. Later they do some tribbing with Nicole on top, which is ok.
Second best part of the scene, is the last part, which is one of the best face-sitting scenes I've watched recently. Nicole deeply licks Serena, who at first just enjoys the sensation, then begins to gently move up and down to ride Nicole's tongue. She looks gorgeous doing that. The last part involves her moving back a bit, and Nicole continues to suck and lick her clit hard.

Overall, this edition of LGS was a dud for me, but this scene does have some redeeming qualities thanks to Nicole Aria, and while it isn't a scene where Serena Hill shines very brightly, she does bounce back with her scene with Dharma Jones in Bad Lesbian 18 where she's real good. Serena has a lot of potential I think to do some quality scenes for GFF, hope she does a few more and keeps building up her G/G skills in her performances.
^Thanks for the kind words again! Nicole usually does very solid work. I have not watched Serena's scene with Dharma yet. Hopefully it's as good as you suggest, instead of another rather pillow-princess sort of performance. To be honest I have no inherent problem with one-sided scenes if they are set up (a lot of scenes from one of my favorite site straplez.com are like this). But if they are meant to be reciprocal, yet one of the women is just not performing up to standard, then I sort of feel like it's a waste of my time.
I definitely have issues with one-sided scenes as I want to see both actresses fully engaged. There's just no fun in watching a scene where only one is participating in the action.
The Serena/Dharma scene doesn't disappoint with a great pairing of these two actresses together. I just can't decide which scene on Bad Lesbian 18 is the best one, this pariing or the River Lynn/Selena Bentz one...they are both so very.very fine.
One woman can be "fully engaged" just at being pleasured -- that's what a pillow princess is 😄 This in of itself is still extremely hot, as long as the other woman who is doing the pleasuring knows what she's doing. Also, let's be honest, there are beautiful women in porn who are just not good at pleasuring other women in front of a camera. If all scenes must be strictly reciprocal, their scenes are guaranteed to be only half-good (if they don't shy away from g/g scenes completely). If they can be just on the receiving end, we can still have very nice scenes. Again I refer to straplez, which has a lot of such examples. Just wondering: have you checked out those scenes and my reviews of them?
You're certainly right BDT, there are women that aren't very good at pleasuring other women. I'd put Valentina Nappi in that category even though she's great in B/G scenes, same with Katie Morgan. For me though, if both actresses aren't engaged in the scene, it doesn't work for me. I haven't seen your Straplez reviews, although I would be totally down with reading them as I try to always keep an open mind on different viewpoints. I have seen some Straplez scenes but once the strap on action begins, I simply lose all interest in it. They all start out well enough but the rest of the scene is just one sided and uninspired. The actresses consistently look great but it just does nothing for me. If penetration like that with women is involved, I'd rather watch a TUSHY RAW scene which to me is far more authentic and arousing.
For me, I don't want to see (in my lesbian scenes) a woman try and be a man by wearing a plastic cock and screw another woman. I much prefer women use their own natural body parts to please each other. To be clear, that's just my personal preference with no offense meant to anyone who enjoys toys and strap-on action. I wish it WERE arousing to me since there is so much content of it out there to watch.

Many thanks for the Straplez link BDT, I will definitely read thru it. After briefly skimming it, I remember checking out a couple of those scenes, especially with Aislin who is a real solid euro les performer.

Aislin is not in Straplez, but she has appeared in Sex Art and Viv Thomas, as well as Ultrawow. She is beyond "solid;" she is one of the greats. Well, I checked the storylines of this volume and I have to say I'm gladly surprised with one scene: Brooke Barclays and Venus Vixen.
I don't want to write a review becasue the scene is new so I don't want this to be a spoiler. What really caught my attention was the storyline (Finally a storyline with some taboo details!). Brooke is a caring stepmom that have some issues with Venus' dad while Venus is a first-year college girl that deal with some school problems. The scene shows a close relationship between them although Brooke is usually busy. It has some moments that reminds me of the classic scenes like simple family conversations and a moment where Venus wears Brooke's lingerie and wishes Brooke and her were closer. Although Venus convinces Brooke to have sex, she hesitates and asks her if it was ok. The act is nice and soft with a lot of foreplay and kissing. A thing I loved was Brooke (as the stepmom) took the initiave and stayed in character during practically the whole scene, what made it more realistic. You may notice this when you watch the scene.
The casting for the roles was excellent and the editing could be better (again).
Some things I would like to see in the seventh volume are low lights scenarios and/or endings like the classic scenes had with phrases like "I love you" or some others according to the story.
No idea. So many beautiful GG performers we have and had, and they are doing this...

There WAS a time when Malena Morgan was an unknown, when Shyla Jennings was an unknown. The problem with some of you guys, you dismiss these girls straight away, you just cast aspersions on them without giving them a chance and I'm...I'm sick of it.

So it's pretty obvious to any avid follower of lesbian erotica that the present quality of it overall is not as good as it was say 10 years ago. I personally attribute that to the lack of long term/experienced actresses in the industry along with the number of experienced/quality actresses choosing to create their own content, offering it to a smaller number of watchers who will pay specifically for that performer (Only Fans, etc,)
With that said, there's still a good number of experienced actresses out there doing studio scenes & features. There's also decent new talent out there to be excited about as well.

Nearly two dozen new or relatively newcomers who so far have done really fine scenes; there's still some good and potentially great talent out there for us to enjoy.
The problem with that theory is, had Malena started now, they'd use her for one movie and never cast her again, like they keep doing with every movie. Giving a new person a chance doesn't matter if every movie has all new girls every time.
One other problem with these new girls is that they're all friggin weird-looking.
I want to see half the girls on your list eat a sandwich and for Shrooms Q to change her stupid stage name. You can't really complain about the GFF roster and then ask for a bunch of starving prisoners of war to be cast in their place.

The absolute bane of many lesbian releases is not so much the pairing of inexperienced performers, although this is a problem, but the poor pairing of performers generally. It's like production companies divide the performer budget for any release among 2-3 A-List performers, 4-5 B-List performers and some album filler. There is very rarely a scene between two A-List performers - although if there is, that will be the scene when the director displays the art chops, or rather lack of them, by introducing wood-killing elements into the storyline or going noir with the lighting. You can usually tell within seconds of the scene commencing that your facing one of these turkeys - on very rare occasions the utter quality of the performances will transcend the director's narcissism.
In many ways the above is not a problem for Girlfriend Films since they employ so many pornstars over the course of any period that you do get scenes with two A-List performers. And all their scenes are shot pretty much the same way. You're either into their groove or you're not - which can be a weekly/monthly thing for me. Not so strangely, 'off' lesbian pairings is also not a problem for Zero Tolerance, since they produce moving naked wallpaper rather than porn.

GFF is pulling from the same pool of young performers as everyone else aka whoever agents are pushing. Inevitably, some girl who pops up on GFF for her first lesbian pro shoot will go on to have a big career. Happened around 2 years ago when Blake Blossom did GFF just before getting massively popular with the general porn audience. Will happen again.

I FULLY agree with you ZSASAL, it definitely was not as good as I was expecting, in fact I was disappointed with it. No 69 or tribbing action which for me, is completely unacceptable for a GFF scene. In fact, 2 of the 4 scenes in this edition do not have any 69 action which is greatly disappointing.
After watching all 4 scenes of this one, I was pretty bummed but the below edition being now in pre-DVD release cheered me up again as THIS one is 4 star winner and is the best GFF edition of the year by far.

I really liked the scene with Eva Long & Xxlayna for "Lesbian House Moms". Unfortunately, I think she has not shot many GG scenes (at least for well-known GG sites).
About the scene (trying to respond to Scotty's comment too), I would not say it was bad. Dharma has shot good scenes, so I expected Xxlayna to follow her lead. All was like too "normal". For example, I expected great kissing moments but it didn't happen. Maybe it's just a chemistry thing. Sometimes it happens.
Those details you mentioned gave the scenes a touch of darkness which made the storyline more erotic in my opinion. Anyway, I'm sure 99% of viewers miss the old GF Films.
