The plot, appropriately enough for the title of "twisted passions," is bonkers. Sera and Myra are discussing a mutual friend, whose boyfriend has cheated on her. I'll admit I don't follow all the newest performers as closely as many others here but I see the cast lists for some of these releases from GFF and about half the names I don't know or barely know and a couple others aren't that great in their lesbian scenes and then there will be one or two really good performers but they will be paired up with a poor(ish) performers.

They seem to have no fresh ideas other than 'My Mother's Husband's Sister's Lesbian Girlfriend' and the like.

Is there some strategy here on their part?

Do they pay less than others for the best performers and therefore are stuck with the proverbial leftovers?

Low pay could be an issue, though if true that would be pretty sad, considering GFF used to have a reputation of paying above market rate. However, the conventional wisdom is that new girls tend to be paid more, not less in porn. So who knows?

As far as the release titles, it is no surprise to anyone that the porn audience prefers incest/coercion content over all else. The weirdo family titles is a tactic attempting to draw in the pdf files. Common porn thing, at this point.

My issue with GFF is that they rarely use 2 people in the same shoot who seem fluid and fluent when trying to have sex with women. I consider this a genre-wide studio problem though, not just GFF. A few words on Annie King. This is the third scene from her and all of them are really good. However, the first two scenes are with Dharma Jones and Sophia Locke, two excellent performers, so it's debatable if Annie is only good with other women who are good, or just good. Another new GFF release that's pretty underwhelming. I've watched all four scenes and found them pretty average, at best.

Polo900 is very right in questioning what others see in her as a performer and I'm one of those people.
