Just a handful of years ago GFF was by far my favorite adult studio.

Now when I go to look at upcoming scenes and movies, all I see the same old crappy tropes that gave lesbian porn a bad name and ironically GFF spearheaded in breaking... fake girls that obviously aren't very much into other girls, fake tribbing whenever they don't know what to do next (while robotically going through the motions), strange sets/attire/toys/etc. that make a scene feel completely artificial.

Wish there was an alternative but all the good directors seem to be out of the picture.

1-I think the movies made from 2012 and before are usually far superior than most of what came after that.

2-I suspect that many scenes shot without an actual series attached to them are later incorporated in a series.

3-A percentage of videos were shot years before they got released.

4-The updating schedule on their site doesn't make a lot of sense since they will keep specific movies in a series in the vault while releasing more recent ones instead.

5-The heat level was far superior in the older movies.

As for scenes, I would suggest delving into some of the best doms GFF had to offer throughout their history and see which ones you like. Examples:

The one constant in scenes with these women is that they seemed to genuinely enjoy the seduction aspect, and it very quickly appeared that both actresses forgot a camera was in the room and just started making love. IMO that's pretty much what separates a good lesbian scene from a bad one; you'll see in majority of the scenes in recent years that the performances are so sterile, completely devoid of any sort of real passion... the girls just make the typical noises and actions you'd expect from a stereotypical porno scene. It's rare that in any recent scenes you can be convinced that the girls are actually turned on and enjoying themselves instead of just going through the motions to collect the pay check.

Another thing I've found odd, some things showing as being an Archive upload and others sometimes showing as a regular upload but still clearly being from Archived content despite that.

Nor do I know how they choose the titles to release for the Archive, for example:

- Road Queen 22 was put in the Archive, as per their movie details, 10/17/20.
- Road Queen 10 was put in the Archive after that on 12/2/20.

- Women Seeking Women 35 was put up in the Archive 12/8/20
- Women Seeking Women 44 was put up 11/12/20, before #35.

Perhaps some of the old time GFF vets can answer some of these ruminations, anything I guess would be just that, a rank guess, a shot in the dark.
