Six scenes in just four months . rough. But, to me? It's improvement! I seriously believe it's starting to happen, though old timers, long time GFF members may well have experienced a sense similar to this only to have it turn out to be a faux revival. I'm cautiously optimistic. I didn't list but the ones I really enjoyed, feeling like those were the ones back to 4/28 that hit most of the marks, but there's a few bits in others that I'm happy to see, though they usually devolve into all the things that often gets routinely complained about in forums and comment sections for lesbian film making.

I don't know if I feel a shift. I have memberships...basically everywhere at this point except the Pornhub companies, and most scenes are fakey nonsense. Maybe every 4th scene is really good regardless of what site you hit, besides All Her Luv. They really put in effort for the most part at AHL.

Blake Blossom is probably just busy aka in-demand. She's fun and a treat for the eyes, so she gets work.

Spencer has plenty of scenes there for how relatively new she is and I am sure she will shoot for them again soon. I actually am not really amazed by Spencer's performances. I can say that definitively because her look is EXACTLY what does it for me, but she doesn't come off as super into women so she doesn't have the effect that she could have if she was as into chicks as Alex.

Madi has 3 scenes with them really quickly too. I'm sure she'll be back again quickly. They give her these hesitant roles that I think are hiding a more dom personality though. Need to fix that.

About Nadia: I honestly hope she doesn't come back. I don't know if it's just the way she is but she comes off uncomfortable to me and it makes me uncomfortable watching her.

1) By "good doms" I mean the women that you know are genuinely interested in women, that you know will put in a good performance herself, and you know that she's so good at it that chances are it's going to be a good scene almost regardless of the sub unless she's an unusually stiff performer (obviously no pun intended). For example: Magdalene, Prinzzess, Elexis Monroe, Samantha Ryan, Sinn Sage, etc. You could tell any of these women "go seduce and then make love to this girl for 45 mins" as the only direction and you're pretty much guaranteed a hot love-making session.

2) The new directors/producers at GFF and pretty much any active lesbian company these days have made the product so saturated and formulaic. It's become structured like gonzo porn: "First you fake kiss a bit, make some fake noises, take off each other's clothes with no eroticism, one pussy licks, then the other pussy licks, then some really awkward fake looking trib, perhaps some robotic dildo action that neither girl is into if you really wanna get frisky, and scene." The people in charge have no idea what they're doing, they've just been hired to pump out watered down crap on a consistent basis. There are probably girls out there that can be the next "one" that truly deserves to be a contract star but they won't have the proper opportunities.

I'm sure Dan did give the girls some direction but it seemed more like: here's a bed, here's 30-60 minutes, here's the general tone/mood, go do what feels right. And usually the product came out genuine. GFF's charm was always it's genuineness, and I think they've lost that.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like over the last 5-7 years or so GFF fans have pushed back against the use of older women. I remember this happening back at GFF's official forum when it was still active; lots of people saying they were using older women too much and not enough "younger hot girl vs. younger hot girl" action.

Not that I'm opposed to that whatsoever, but be careful what you wish for. The lusty milfy dom vs innocent younger but secretly horny and curious sub was pretty much what GFF was built on. They were pumping out quality scenes under this genre in the late 00's and early 2010's when they started to really gain popularity. Generally you saw that the older women were, naturally, more sexually mature and comfortable, and often super turned on to work with a younger cute girl. You put two younger, less-to-no experience girls together and you often get an awkward product. Before I finally gave up on GFF and lesbian porn in general (at least for now, until I see some improvements) this is what I saw a lot of; two girls that maybe want to do a good job but don't really know what to do, neither is comfortable being a dom in any genuine fashion, and you end up watching two robots attempt to have sex.

I'm not saying it's necessary for a scene to be an "older woman vs. younger woman" pairing for it to be good, but perhaps they need to put a lot more thought into the pairings and what kind of scene they would be suited for together. Although it's not exactly rocket science. I mean look at something like KissMeGirl... literally all they did was "here are two attractive girls that are actually turned on by each other, now kiss" and you ended up with a 30-45 minute hot and heavy make-out session that could melt your screen. It's that easy lol.

Edit, another issue in a similar vein, generally speaking: way too much emphasis on costumes, sets, storylines and not enough on making the actual sex good. In a perfect world you have both but, not too many producers out there that seem to be capable to accomplish both at the same time.
