Absolutely especially Blake Blossom. She is so gorgeous female and I think we are so blessed to get to see getting fucked on camera. As for Liz I feel the same way but she has the girl next door look you know a closet slut you went to high school with. Then for Kylie I haven't watched too much of her but what I can agree with you here.
I agree with the sentiment that no girl is "too pretty for porn," but if ever a performer was so beautiful that that description was justified, it would have to be Jenny Hendrix:
^I see a lot of people keep saying this. Of course, it's obviously true but everyone knows what is meant by this phrase. Porn stars who are unusually or exceptionally pretty. I don't think this needs to be constantly rehashed. It's just a saying.
^^ yep, but we want them as pretty as possible to double the joy and pleasure of watching their scenes. That's why some of the members feel that this thread is useless respectively contradictory.
I don't post here either and I won't post again as I don*t want to spoil this thread. Amen.
I think to BuckNaked's and Lenny Voyeur's point: A lot of us grew up in a culture that instructed people to believe that beauty - especially female beauty - was a cultivated thing, starting with genetics, but then proceeding through proper skin care, an investment in fine beauty products, and strict adherence to principles and morals. Porn stars being "unprincipled" and "immoral" (forgive me, Porno Dan) were thus by definition not beautiful enough for respectable society. If a performer happened to be especially beautiful nevertheless, something must've gone wrong. She must have broken some moral code. Perhaps she's (gasp!) divorced! Everyone knows having sex out of holy wedlock, Batman, automatically makes one's skin blemished. On the other hand, if another performer clearly hadn't invested in those fine beauty products, then she wouldn't have qualified for high society anyway, so that was fine.
Maybe what these guys are reminding us is, we're evolving past that point. Porn performers are beautiful women, and they're to be celebrated, even respected. There is no "too beautiful" metric anymore, and that's a good thing. You can lust after a woman and respect her now - it's allowed.
It's sort of an oxymoron of course. Is any girl too beautiful to be in porn? But, despite Kaiya explaining why she left her job to enter the industry, when she looks as gorgeous as she does in the above shot I do ask myself why?

When you have women like Sunny Leone, Amy Reid, Kortney Kane, Aila Donovan, Julia Ann, Amiee Cambridge and a whole slew of other names I can think of just off the top of my head, the term "too pretty for porn" becomes pointless IMO. The porn industry has seen and has some of the most beautiful women on the planet shooting porn. You can go back to porn shot when none of us were even born and you'll find women of their day who were just flawless.
I've been watching porn since theater days in the 70's. All of the girls mentioned here on this thread couldn't have been too pretty for porn or they wouldn't have acted in porn. I think the title of the thread is the issue. As far as the prettiest I've seen in all these years I have too many to list but I have to mention CHASEY LAIN since it appears she hasn't made anyone elses list. I remember the first time I watched a VHS tape with those green eyes and great body.
I think the beauty of porn actresses really took a major leap during the 80s. Sure there were a few women who stuck out in the 70s, but I think they were surpassed by the talent to come later. I actually watched 50s and 60s stag films before the advent of VHS. The women had a raw sexuality, but I wouldn't say they were stunning beauties.
It's really not fair comparing different decades. The women of years ago had personality. Not that today's women don't, but they aren't allowed to show it. It's wham bam, who can we do what to next now. Some of the woman from years back weren't the hottest, but they were sexy. It's just different times.
Brother, you have no idea how much I agree with you... there's a 80s/90s woman named Laren Hall.. she is just so absurdly good looking, I'd go as far as saying a notch above even the names I mentioned above. Like unreal pretty and HOT.
Totally agree with this as well. If she had more scenes without the ugly 80's hair, that would've been great. With her hair slicked back, it was like watching one of the models from a Robert Palmer music video having sex.
Those who know Lauren Hall know. She had roughly 20 B/G scenes and a handful of G/G scenes. Doesn't sound like a lot, but this was still when you went into a store and bought a title. Cranking out hundreds of scenes in a few years was just not happening then. And has been mentioned before about her, Angel and a few others, their faces on a box cover could launch (among other things) thousands of sales.
She has been mentioned a few times in all-time great beauties threads. I'm sure you know that Lauren Hall also had one of the most amazing asses and hip-to-waist ratios. It's a pity that at the time American directors had no idea how to shoot a women's posterior in action. John "Buttman" Stagliano was just starting to take off. I would have loved to see what Buttman would have filmed with Lauren Hall in front of the camera.
Lauren Hall was indeed spectacular. The best taste we have of What Could Have Been is a 1990 Bruce Seven flick with the stupid title "Ghost Lusters." Tianna was a big Bruce Seven star, especially in the "Buttslammers" series to come a few years later. In one scene, Tianna is properly exposing Lauren's ass. Then from a standing position, wearing heels, Lauren splays her legs apart, squats down on her hands as though she's about to do a handstand, and drops her own head inches below her pussy. Tianna then uses Lauren's face to lubricate a dildo. There's a few seconds of footage taken from above where Lauren's head juts out in front of her pussy, where if she had squirted it would've landed in her mouth. Imagine being a janitor in the theaters that showed this scene a few times a day. Talk about a thankless job!
Back in the '80s, the style of porn was still being defined by magazines, rather than the other way around. Directors, photographers, and editors were mostly going for a look that mimicked a Penthouse shoot. If you look at magazines from the time when porn premiered on film in theaters before being "kinescoped" to VHS, they still treated butts and vaginas like the naughty bits in a burlesque show. You saw glimpses but not exposes, and there were three or four shots on a page. Maybe there was a butt shot, but it was two-by-three inches. The two-page spread was a full body shot, and too much of the time, you got a feeling that Bob Guccione had breathed on the lens to fog it up first.
At around this time, a girl performer who made it big appeared in a big-time magazine photo shoot. You knew Amber Lynn was hot because, at any one time, she was on the cover of at least two skin mags. And you'd see captions and blurbs that touted these models using phrases such as, "Too Pretty for Porn!"
Well, this was before directors like Bruce Seven and Dark Bros. entered the scene. For a short time, the guys running the counters at the porn shops would play down "girls who do gonzo" like Tianna as "not really pretty enough for real porn." If they were prettier, you see, they'd do nicer, tamer scenes that play them more in a burlesque, vintage light like a Playboy centerfold. And they'd do more photo spreads in the big skin mags, like Amber Lynn does.
Thing is, the VHS porn consumer knew better. When girls of the quality of Lauren Hall and Shanna McCullough started appearing in gonzo titles, and gonzo titles started selling better than "kinescopes," as I called them, of theater porn, folks started looking at girls like Tianna, Felecia, and Sindee Coxx as really hot women. And the opinions flipped. Girls who were "too soft," or so soft that you'd only see them in Penthouse shoots or "Variations" videos, were quite suddenly not pretty enough for the likes of Bruce Seven.
Looking back 30+ years, you'll see girls in porn who were not being shot, lit, edited, and presented with anywhere near the level of beauty that's achievable today. And you'll see, even here, comments that these girls didn't have the "personality" of performers since the 2010s - well, how could anyone have known? Even the great Bruce Seven and early John Stagliano and Christoph Clark scenes, which were considered "pushing the envelope" (back when we finally got to see those envelopes being pushed up close and properly lit), lasted 10 minutes tops. Editors must've kept stopwatches, because you'd swear there was a half-hour more action in some of these scenes before they'd skip to the orgasm because they've gotta move onto the next scene.
Maybe the girls back then had fewer enhancements than they do today - they certainly had fewer tattoos. But Lauren Hall was every bit as deserving of a shoot with Mason or L.T. as anyone we adore in the modern age. She helped obliterate the idea that anyone was too pretty for porn.
I had a hard time following your underlying thesis. Some of the women you mentioned are great performers, but I don't think they were considered "too pretty", stunning, gorgeous or whatever title kicks off a thread like this.
From memory, I enjoyed Bruce Seven and John Stagliano titles. I don't remember them recruiting stunners. I think they looked for personality, performance and a raw sexuality. That's very different than "too pretty".
I left out Christoph Clark because he was able to tap into some of the 90s Eastern European talent explosion. Greta Milos is an absolute Hungarian angel among others. That however is an entirely different subject.
When porn first became available on VHS, the performers were generally considered not pretty or appealing enough to get photo spreads in magazines. Then Lauren Hall came along, and she helped pivot this the other way. Before long, girls were seen "settling" for photo spreads because they couldn't get cast in a good porn scene.
I'm guessing that most members don't have much recollection of the pre-VHS days. There were one or two prettier women in a film, but by no means as smoking hot as Lauren Hall and others to come. This is not to take anything away from appealing starlets like Veronica Hart, Annette Haven, etc.
Many of the "film" woman who were secondary performers were not great beauties but had natural and raunchy looks. They were sexy, but in a totally different way than the porn beauties to come. I think some of it was porn wasn't as accessible. There was a certain mystique about watching these early women have sex on camera.
I have expressed my appreciation for Lauren Hall's beauty here and elsewhere on ADT. I would give some women like Angel, Ginger Lynn, Shauna Grant and perhaps Christy Canyon (although I think her body is her more remarkable asset) that preceded Lauren Hall their props.
My first few years watching porn were from 2009-2010. I didn't know many porn stars back then but was enamored with Rosa Caracciolo (I loved the Tarzan porn video) and Janine Lindemulder. I started watching porn on a regular basis from around 2011-12 and two pornstars that really caught my eye because of how pretty they are were Tori Black and Maria Ozawa. As time went by, I began discovering more and more pornstars. Two pornstars that I liked subsequently were Valentina Nappi and Elle Alexandra. I also liked watching softcore porn websites like Hegre or MetArt or Twistys then because many of the women on those sites were really pretty (Lorena B aka Lorena G aka Lorena Garcia being a good example).
I don't know the exact year it happened but from around 2014 onwards, more and more really gorgeous women started doing porn. Even one girl/girl or softcore pornstar that I really admired for her beauty now started doing boy/girl porn. Can you guess her name?. She is none other than Eva Lovia. With time, I discovered Ella Hughes, Emily Grey, Evelyn Claire plus many, many more.
Some gorgeous pornstars who took my breath away when I first saw them are
Maria Ozawa, Emily Grey, Elle Alexandra, Agatha Vega, Angel Rush etc.
