Too many pretty girls in porn to make any sense out of this. No-tramp-girls too pretty for porn, though could do.
^ Or maybe you are just saying Girl X is super attractive and all the other girls doing porn are also very attractive just not quite as attractive as Girl X. Lighten up Mister Fahrenheit.
When I used to hear "too pretty for porn" my first thoughts are of a girl so good looking she could've been some sort of model making tons of money and didn't have to put up with the stigma of being a pornstar. That used to be my thinking. But in the last decade or so there are many pornstars that I think have model type looks and if you'd put them on the cover of a major magazine or put them in a commercial no one would realize they weren't a professional model. I think the reason for that is that because more attractive women see porn as a viable career and the make-up artists in porn are really good these days and cosmetic surgery is better than ever and more common.
"Of all things, why porn?" sounds belittling of porn itself as if it's a failure or settling for "less" than fashion modelling or Hollywood acting or as if porn is what you turn to work in if you're not perceived as very attractive in a physical sense.
Of all the gorgeous looking women I see in porn, I take delight in seeing them, I never think they're too pretty to be in it. No matter how sultry they are or how enthusiastic a woman's performance is in porn, if I don't find her physically attractive, I'll move on to someone whose looks are more to my liking.

I disagree that 'No girl is too pretty for porn'. As porn it self has proved this.
For me 'too pretty for porn' means that due to her looks she can find a guy who will give her way more money than porn will ever make for her, and she will leave the industry after a few scenes when it happens.

I 100% agree with you, there are girls who have done porn who dispel this "too pretty for porn" myth.
Look at girls like Kortney Kane, Breanne Benson, Madelyn Marie, Sunny Leone.. I can mention so many more. These girls represent the pinnacle of beauty IMO, you just don't get more beautiful... you get as beautiful but not more IMO. This idea that a super beautiful woman can't be slutty and happy to take dick for cash on camera, has been proven false over and over again.

^ I think "just a saying" is a cowardly disclaimer that people often use to absolve themselves of giving thought to what they say.
While I won't argue against notions that some do porn because they weren't successful in the mainstream, I disagree that their apparent failure to break into it is based solely on their appearance. If you lack the acting/comedy/singing/dancing/modelling chops and the right connections to break into a very relatively small market, your chances of breaking into the mainstream are remote no matter how pretty you may be. Porn is easier for women to get into.
The way I see it nobody is perfect. Everyone has flaws even if you cant see it with the naked eye. So with saying that nobody is too pretty for porn because everyone has that one thing that is attractive and stands out above the rest. I think if you put performers in this vacuum and dont see them as humans then yes you could say how some might be too pretty for porn but if you look at them as humans and know that they are flawed just like everyone who walks this either then nobody is too pretty for porn. Now there are ALOT of beautiful women in the industry. Some might be for you and some might not be but again I dont think nobody is too pretty for porn. Thats like saying an athletic is too good to be playing in the NBA or NFL. As great as Michael Jordan was he didnt win a championship every year. He didnt make every shot he took. He missed more shots than he took and he wasnt the best three point shooter. He just made them when it counted the most. Most people think LeBron James is the best basketball player of all-time but have you seen his Finals record? He is like 3-6. That means he lost 6 times in the NBA Finals and left disappointed watching the other team celebrate the championship that season. Not to mention he sucks at free throw shooting. So nobody is saying he is too good to be playing in the NBA. So again no performer is too pretty for porn. We just should appreciate them for who they are and enjoy what they give us on camera especially those who give us 110% all the time to make great work.
I can't believe everyone is getting so animated about the phrase 'too pretty for porn'. We all know what it means. No one's saying there are women who are literally too pretty for porn. It's just a term you would use for unusually attractive women who happen to be working in the industry.
I agree that Nicole Aniston was a really beautiful woman, before she started messing around with her face. Tori Black is unusually pretty for porn, although she's a bit too slender and small-chested for my personal tastes. Lana Rhoades is very pretty, as is Mia Melano.
Porn does not 'deserve' beauty because such beauty will just be squandered/wasted. In that sense, there are plenty of girls too pretty for porn. Maybe a softcore site can do a fairly decent job of showcasing a woman's beauty. But for regular hardcore porn the cameraman is gonna give the exact same "follow the ass/tits/pussy/penis" treatment regardless of the woman is gorgeous or whatever.
Touché, It's like when you see a highly attractive woman in public, and the LAST thing you'd expect her to do is get naked for the cameras.

Why is it the last thing you'd expect? A beautiful woman is actually MORE LIKELY to get naked for the camera than a girl who isn't as attractive.
There are only girls "too wealthy for porn", there isn't a single girl on the planet who is "too pretty for porn." I hope all men can stop being naive and learn this soon, as it would save them a lot of frustration in getting to know the opposite sex.
^^The looks of no woman I find beautiful are squandered or wasted in whatever porn I watch her in. It doesn't matter how shapely her boobs or bum are if her looks aren't for me and I maintain that stance in hardcore porn.

^^That's a good shout, but I think perhaps her body is so spectacular that it tends to overshadow her face. She's a very pretty girl, especially so when you see her earlier photos, when she was very fresh faced and had the girl next door look down to a tee. She's somewhat trashed it up these days, with lots of makeup and multi-coloured hair, that has slightly spoiled the effect, for my money.
The main appeal of these types of threads is to see people post pics of pretty pornstars. But really in my opinion the term "too pretty for porn" probably hasn't really been a thing since the early years of porn when it was seen as a seedy and digraceful career path. To me these days I expect pretty women in porn. With today's social media being what it is and so many girls making a living looking good and being sexy it only makes sense that it would carry over to porn. As more and more Instagram models keep pushing the sexiness a bit further and further and now the with Onlyfans taking off the way it has, I expect even more pretty women to enter porn in some way or another. Porn is becoming more and more acceptable as more "mainstream" niches push it's boundries. More and more pretty girls are out there trying to get exposure and make money from their looks and the path from racy instagram shots to being sexual on Onlyfans is becoming much more common. The only downside for porn fans is they will never see many of these girls because they can make so money doing it themselves and not have to deal with the porn industry.
And the other thing...Many of these girls some consider "too pretty for porn" only look that way because of well done make up and sometimes surgeries. Years ago I was shocked and sort of relived that so many girls are incredibly average looking without make up. Some guys claim "she looks better with no make up". Not true. She may look better without so much make up or not made up to look like a pornstar but most time you see a girl in a porn scene she's wearing make up to some extent. And while many people hear complain about girls getting cosmetic work done, more girls than you realise have had stuff done but you don't know or notice because it was subtle or done before they got into the business.
Wealth is entirely objective, ''beauty'' as we know it rests entirely on individual and cultural markers. When I see girls like Ariana Marie without knowing her background, porn would be on the list of things that just would not compute initially.
