There are some girls that are dropdead georgeous and doing/did porn but I wouldn't say they were too pretty for porn, I'm rather happy and very grateful they picked such a profession and allowed us to watch them and their bodies in action so I thank them very much! :-) Here are my favorites:

I'm curious how you define the Second Golden Age. I don't think of it solely as an American porn event. The Eastern European women (particularly Czech) coming into porn in the 90s was unreal. ^Hopefully SG can explain what he meant but I read that as AJ chose to do porn when she could have done something else because some of her abilities didn't require that she get naked and have sex. If that is what he meant then it is one of the reasons why I have issues with the gist of this thread because it inherently implies that some of the women who do porn were doomed to always do porn because they didn't have the right look or abilities to do anything else while others chose to do porn but had looks and talent that meant they didn't have to do porn.
If someone implies pornstar A couldve chose to do something else other than porn then couldnt that apply to almost any pornstar? Adriana Chechik was super smart when she was in school. She choose to become a stripper and then do porn because many people from her school picked with her saying she was to scared to do something like that. The thing is these pornstars werent forced to do it. Thats like telling me a football player is too smart to be getting hit constantly in a football game for 10+ years. We know there are plenty of guys who are 4.0 students in college with high degrees in a big time field but yet they stick with sports and their goal is to get drafted to the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, or MLS. They could be doctors, lawyers, engineers or any other great field but they choose sports. Nothing is wrong with that. Just like a pornstar, they werent forced into doing it.
Plus there is no such thing as being "too pretty" for anything. Someone cant be "too smart" where they still cant be taught something and learn. Someone cant be "too strong" where they still might need help lifting and moving something. Saying someone is "too pretty for porn" is basically saying they are too good for the industry. As in they are better than this and thats not the case. All these pornstars come from different walks of life. I actually think its remarkable. You cant point to one thing outside of the fact that these pornstars love sex and feel comfortable with their sexuality. Outside of that these pornstars are all different in their own unique way. And it gives us fans different variety to choose from. So instead of overthinking things we just need to set back and appreciate that these pornstars allow us in their world to enjoy.
You can acknowledge the social stigmas behind joining the porn industry without supporting the existence of the stigma. Just saying.

I don't know that anyone is too pretty for for , but I think there are some girls who look too innocent to be doing porn , and maybe girls so pretty your surprised they're doing such hard scenes . 'Historically' it is nonsense as one of the earliest and most famous pornstars of all time was the gorgeous Marilyn Chambers who also infamously was the model for Ivory Snow.
Same with me. Though she did struggle in some of those scenes. She was definitely in over her head at the beginning. Looking at her early in her career it's no surprise she became a big star. i hope she's well.
Have good long enough career with breaks and a small comeback which I hoped would be longer. Still incredibly beautiful in her late 30s but happily retired.
