It has been discussed. It's like asking how much do YOU and other employees in your firm earn? Would you be prepared to say? Do you know what your doctor or lawyer, or bank manager earn, or a lap dancer? No porn actress/actor will tell you straight what she/he makes for a particular scene. She may be telling you something she does not want other competing performers to know, or what a potential producer/director who may be interested in hiring her to know either.
^^^ They also won't tell you that in many cases it ain't that much. It takes lots of scenes for some girls to make five thousand dollars a month. Before taxes. Others have exclusive contracts. Some sell so many pieces that they don't need a contract. Some do escorting. Some have websites. Some have all of the above. A scene could be anywhere from $300 to $1000 or more. Depending on the girl and the willingness of certain companies to pay it. Each act does have a negotiable price. Stack up the acts, you stack up the dough. Stack up scenes per day or per week or per month and so on. A freelancer's dream if you're doing well. I use to write for various magazines, where I interviewed several porn stars, and I sold product for Fantasy Home Video in early 90's. Yes, folks, Perry Ross and Angela Barron.

When you say you "sold" do you mean you were working for Fantasy Home Video or you just distributed their stuff? My recollection of Fantasy Home Video was a short-lived producer (what happened to it?) with poor picture and sub-par overall product (that really did not match the video box covers). They did a lot of compilations of their few releases.
Distribution. In the office on the phones selling. From my understanding Perry Ross met a very unfortunate demise. Nasty. I left before that. He was a bit of a hot head. I never said they were the Warner Bros. of porn. But I met a lot of people, including most of the girls on the roster, and others in different companies. I lived in Northridge at the time.
Out of interest, what is the pricing scheme in porn. I remember hearing once that ladies get paid based on the number of cocks in the scene. But what about the types of acts they are performing? Do anal scenes command more than non-anal scenes? Do A2M scenes command more than regular anal scenes? What about gaping or squirting or other crazy stuff? And is there a single "going rate" (i.e. most Gonzo studios pay $XXX for a one on one anal scene) or does every different studio have a different pricing scheme? Is pricing based on the girl or the studio? In other words, does a given porn star charge a given amount for a certain type of scene and studios either take it or leave it? Or is it the other way around and studios set a price so that each porn star appearing in a given movie is being paid approximately the same amount? Finally, what is the going rate for a basic anal/A2M scene nowadays? I guess I'm just fascinated by how the pricing works.
