From an academic standpoint, there are several former pornstars who went academic with the most obvious being Dr. Sharon Mitchell. I know Aurora Snow took time off from porn to go back to school and Inari Vachs was very intelligent though I do not know how far she went in college. If you ever had the opportunity to listen to how she arrived at her porn name, it was like sitting in literature and history class. If I remember my BTS's, Inari always brought books to read during the down time of her features (these were literature books, not the latest Danielle Steele). I agree that Sasha Grey is incredibly intelligent as is Kimberly Kane. If you've ever heard either talk about the industry, they take a big picture approach. I expectthey will be around for quite some time as they have positioned themselves for the long term. For sure. Avy's dry wit really exposes her raw intelligence. I chatted with her on this site a while back and it was clear that she very perceptive, intuitive and knowledgeable as well as extraordinarily sexy.
I was amazed that it took so long for Sasha Grey to be mentioned. She's one bright young lady. Claire Robbins and Eurobabe Sabina Casarova (aka Sabine Mallory) would also seem to be pretty smart.

So what I'm saying is; why should IQ matter? The important thing is radiating an attractive personality, that may come from intelligence or it may come from something completely different. Whatever gets my mojo working.
IQ isnt all. And the IQ is very, very subjective. You can have a bad day or something else. But if you are only referring to intelligence and a good educational background, I discovered, that there are quite a lot of very intelligent girls/women in northern european porn, but also some very dumb girls. I had the impression, that the midfield was very narrow.
True, but for me intelligence can contribute very significantly to the attractiveness of the personality. It may not always show in every scene but it comes through in BTS footage, interviews etc. I love Sasha Grey for her looks and for her voracious sexuality, but the intelligence which shows in her postings and various appearances is an important extra to me.
True.Depends on your definition of 'very'. It's actually quite reliable statistically, and correlates with a number of other measurable variable at a high level of significance. But yes, there is a margin of error, and there are other important qualities that are not obviously related to IQ. That said, I don't think we're discussing the IQ scores of porn stars here so much as intelligence in the more day-to-day sense of being able to make sharp observations, being able to express themselves sensibly and articulately, and being able maintain control over their own lives and oversee the consequences of their choices.
