With Jenna in particular her porn was marketed to heavily to the mainstream during a time when porn like the kind she starred in was sold in locations that harder edged stuff wasn't. Plus in most stores I seen her movies she had her own section devoted entirely to her movies. Lisa Ann (or a few others I could name) has become popular by appealling to porn fans through her hard work of building her fanbase by doing the type of porn they want to see. Lisa did it by doing good work for many different companies. Jenna did it by having one of the biggest companies in porn behind her marketing her to the masses. If both Lisa and Jenna started in porn today both in their prime Lisa would rise to the top again and Jenna wouldn't have anywhere near the success she had before and would have more of a niche audience where she only appeals to a certain type of fan. I'm not an over the top Lisa Ann fan but I do admire what's she done with her career in porn and think she's a great performer and businesswoman. Mix up their names and photographs on a page and I'd have no problem matching names with the correct photos. And, BTW, my 220 disc porn collection includes the work of 10 of these women. Scenes featuring Chanel Preston and Bonnie Rotten are absent, probably due to the fact that most of the collection was produced before 2013, with the exception of some newer stuff with a few people like Riley Reid and Dani Daniels. Wanted to add one more thing regarding pornstar popularity. In covering the XBIZ Awards back in January, LA Weekly named Remy LaCroix, Riley Reid, and Jessie Andrews as "it-girls" of today. I'd just like to know how all 3 of these famous, award winning stars, managed to be excluded from lists posted by ADT members. Especially considering the fact that all of these ladies have appeared in so many scenes for the highest profile companies, that have the biggest budgets and classiest productions. Plus these companies are able to spend more money promoting their product than other studios can.
