I never said viewing free clips is illegal or stealing, watching full length films is, which is what you stated you were going to do with the Jimi film when it comes out, which is what you do with other peoples feature when they come out. You can TRY your hardest to make sure you don't get ripped off, but you will, it will happen. No matter what you do to TRY and prevent it, you won't be able to. What goes around comes around. As far as how is this a slap in Stephs face, she asked you not to advocate stealing, and mentioning the virtures of ripping of porn on the website, but you continue to do it. People like you really try my patience. There's no reason I should work if all that happens is you steal my money. There's no reason people should make porn movies if all that happens is you steal their movies. These people have houses, cars and kids. They aren't doing this so you can beat off for free. They're in it to make money. Ever hear of supply and demand? Well, guess what, stealing isn't 'demand.' The more people there are who steal, the less people there are who are willing to pay. The cost of production isn't going down just because you're stealing, you know. With fewer people to pay the cost, the price goes up. Eventually, the product costs more than the customer is willing to pay and the market dries up. That's right, nobody but a few amateurs will be making porn when there's no money in it. So, yes, there really is an end to it.
Hey i was just voicing my opinion that it looks like this thread has been derailed and completely turned into a pointless battle. Some people will like your porn some won't. You are never going to be able to please everyone. And arguing is really getting you nowhere. I say go sell some damn porn already and you'll feel better. If they want to buy the movie they will. For years now we have dumped product on the market, we have whored ourselves to the point that we are little more than five dollar crack whore street walkers. The entry into this business required about as much talent and about as much capital. We started emphasizing quantity over quality and we made no efforts to control our output. We completely ignored the first rule of success in entertainment, “leave them wanting more” We inundated the market with the cheapest product we could shit out, comps, sell throughs, catalog content, then we repackaged all the same content and sold it over and over. And I’m not talking just companies that specialized in bargain basement porn, I’m talking companies that wanted to be known for their quality. We let anyone who could hold a camera proclain him/herself a “director” and we assumed that just because some chick who dropped out of high school could suck cock then she could be a director. And for ten years we dumped this shit on the market at the rate of ONE THOUSAND releases a MONTH. That’s 250 porn videos a WEEK. Now many of those companies have come and gone and video companies struggle to survive in a market where predatory distributors will take as long as possible to pay you, hoping to starve you out so that they don’t have to pay at all. All of this leaves a LOT of porn with no owner and no one with any money to protect the copyright. Is it a big surprise to find it all over the net? Is it a surprise to find everyone elses product mixed in with it? So now we are trying to plug the dam after it burst, not by lowering the lake level until we can rebuild and fix the dam, but instead by trying to patch it while the water is flooding out. It won’t work. I don’t care who the studio is: Evil Angel, Digital Playground, Jules Jordan, Wicked, Vivid etc. When you release a DVD today, tonight I can go online and get that DVD, in a full quality identical copy of the DVD menus and all and I can get it faster for free online than I can go to the local video store and rent it. But it isn’t just us, Hollywood is suffering the same fate but to a lesser degree. People know it’s wrong to download Hollywood movies for free but don’t consider porn to have the same value. Why? because we don’t put any value into the product and we don’t value ourselves, our performers or our business. So what do we do? We file lawsuits. We attempt to use the legal system to enforce our rights in a world court. (many of these sites are in other countries) Tube sites, torrent sites look out we are going to sue you and even though you made millions of dollars you are now going to face a 200,000 dollar fine for enabling piracy (reference the current case against thepiratebay.com) and this is suppossed to deter you and others from doing what piratebay did. Now here’s the cold hard truth, these guys are just the scavengers pulling the last bits of flesh off of the carnage we brought on ourselves. Eventually there won’t be anything left and there won’t be enough output from the industry to keep these sites afloat and we will again be in a position to prosper, but it’s going to be a long hard ride to ride out that storm. And speaking of scavengers heres comes our old buzzard friend the Free Speech Coalition, they see some scraps they might pick up by posturing and making noise but not doing anything substantive, same as they have always done. Maybe gopher is a better term for them,,,go for this, go for that…Like a pornchick who always says she is going to get her GED and of course never puts any effort into it. If you read the threads the argument wasn't about if someone liked or disliked my product, I've been in this business for 25 years, I think I can handle if someone doesn't like my product. Yeah I saw that Plaster Caster piece too on something. I was wondering if that sex tape is where this comes from if it is real after all. I remember a big battle for the Hendrix Estate and it took a toll on his father's health unfortunately. Of all the footage I have seen of Jimi and his dad, Al always seemed to be like a cool laid back guy.
My problem with this is that the subject of the video, Jimi Hendrix, is dead. If the footage is authentic, I think it's wrong to release it to the general public because the man's not around to object. Again assuming it's authentic, it was shot in an era in which he could rightfully expect to have it kept private for his own personal viewing, or for sharing with select friends. That's not the case today. A celebrity makes a sex video, and they know it will be viewed by the entire world. These are either made by pure folly (by dumbasses), or they're made with the calculated purpose of notoriety. I'd feel the same about any sex video that was made prior to home video, much less the internet, especially if the subject is deceased.

That's hardly taking a risk. How would they prove it isn't him? They can't get a DNA sample off a celluloid image. The odds of a credible eye-witness coming forward at this late date are probably no better than my odds of winning the lottery with one ticket.

The estate has to be in on this, Hendrix likeness is copyrighted and the name is likely trademarked and just like all the rest of the sex tapes someone had to sign off on this. The standard formula is to have that party play mad and threaten to sue yada yada so it drags out the publicity and maximizes the profit.
First, there's no reason to believe the two women in the video even know it is in the public space. I wouldn't know about any celebrity sex tapes if they hadn't been mentioned here. Hence, failure to come forward proves nothing. Second, if two women did come forward the first thing they would have to do is prove they were the ones in the video. Only then would it mean anything if they claimed it was Hendrix in there with them.
hollywood woody....you advocate 'Sunny loves Matt' as an example of a great Vivid movie, but i have already read 2 reviews on the iafd that suggest there is a fake cumshot in the film. If this is true, would you change your opinion on this film? Would you also then agree Vivid rips customers off?
I looked at the reviews and all of them seem to say that Sunny Loves Matt is an enjoyable film. I haven't seen the film or the cumshots in question but I got the impression that all of the reviewers liked the film.

So to add to what the thread is really about. I think this is one film i will buy so i can just say I have it.
