Onestly Katja I wish you everything you want (seriously), but I don't get the big difference. Isn't that still called porn (amateur porn, if you want)?
The difference is that I don't have to take dick anymore. I can decide what happens to my body and when I do cam shows it's my own business, I'm not dependent on big porn corporations to hire me or the good will of an agent who all play favorites and mostly book jobs for the chick they are fucking at the moment. And to make it all clear here are some advantages of cam work vs porn just so you get it: - flexible work schedule - independence - I set my own rates - no go sees, castings, kissing ass to get work - total control over type of performance - I make very good money performing solo, don't have to do guys - quick pay, direct deposit into my bank account - no agent fees, no testing fees, no lengthy drives to work - nobody mistreats me - convenience, I work from the comfort of my own home Call it what you want. If you want to call web cam models porn actors, go ahead, it's fine with me. All that matters to me is that I am working in a comfortable work environment where I am the boss and I decide from the when to where to how. I graduated summa cum laude without student loans and the reason why I was able to do this is because of cam work. I can make a good amount of money in a short period of time and I could work around my class schedule. It allowed me to take all the time I needed to deliver outstanding results in my studies. The way I'm doing this is the best possible option for myself, I am still following my goal without putting myself in a precarious financial position and without creating too much stress trying to work full time with a full class load. I am totally proud of myself and I am going to continue to follow my path. Right now I am saving my pay checks for tuition of my masters program. I don't want to get a student load because I think the interest rates are a rip off and cripple people's ambitions after they graduate. I decided to do whatever is practical at the moment and gets me where I want to be.

I'm not justifying myself. I'm trying to outline that just because a person doesn't understand another one's motivations to do something or to refrain from doing something else, doesn't mean the course of action is not legitimate. It has to make sense to the one involved in it. There are a lot of people here who cannot grasp how severely porn affects a performer's life. I do not wish to expose myself to those direct consequences, one of which is being lonely and undateable. I am older now and things matter to me now than I felt differently about when I was younger. Porn was great at age 23 and now I'm almost 36 and it's not anything I want to do. There is almost 15 years between when I did my first scene and now and I don't think it's so crazy to have a different mind set now. How many people stay in the exact same job between early 20's and mid 30's?

That is a good point, a lot can change in 15 years and doing a job that long can get boring or change in a way that makes your enjoyment of it not the same.I know its not quite the same but i'm a teacher at junior school in the UK and we have just got a new person who is in charge after 8 yeras working there and he has changed a lot of things and most not for the better. I love hearing the truth. That's why I enjoy seeing Katja's posts. It's what most female porn stars have to live with while doing the job. seriously, I don't understand why this seems to be such a hard thing for some people to get? Seems like I need to apologize beforehand because I´m one of those dummies who would love to see Katja again in front of the camera. It´s kind of funny how some posters here try to "protect" Katja from people that are obviously trying to convice her to shoot again. We all know Katja is smart and strong enough to make decissions on her own but I also think that it´s legitimate that some of us show our fascination for the amazing work she did. That said, Would you rather discuss old scenes that Katja did years ago, with other guys that watched Katja's scenes years ago, or would you rather talk to Katja herself? Personally, I'd rather talk to Katja herself, so I choose to treat her like a human being and respect her wishes instead of constantly harping about things she CLEARLY has no desire to talk about anymore. She's stated MULTIPLE times that she isn't going to comeback to the industry, and that she doesn't want to discuss it further. Yet a handful of people continue to ignore her, and talk about her as if she isn't here. This little corner of the forum (Star Crossed) is one of the few places where you can get some genuine interaction with performers, so it seems odd to me that people would come here specifically so they could argue with them and be rude to them. To each his own I guess.

Let´s immagine this is a musicians forum. For sure you can talk about other things but imo the main focus should be on discussions about music. Just for you info this forum is called ADULTDVDTALK.com. You seem like to forget that many people here still love Katjas adult work and therfore I think it´s obvious to talk about some of those topics and I don´t think Kaja needs a babysitter only because some fans make comments that they would love to see her on film again.
