Yet, A number of those pornstars come back oftenly not because they want to, but because they are forced to. They are forced by financial reasons and not only. Let's be honest. It is not easy to be a female adult actress. Some societies haven't yet accepted this profession and trust me not all men accept to have as a wife an active pornstar. You have no idea how many tragic human stories are hidden in the back dark alleys of the industry. So please guys don't be cruel to them, you make their burden harder than it is. Maybe because I always did my thing, never had a drug habit, saved my money and used my porn career as a stepping stone. Maybe some people can't process the fact that being a porn actress does not automatically make you a victim and does not mean you have no other choice. I never accepted any labels. I never felt being a porn star was a shameful thing but I also know it's not the most normal job there is and people are gonna gossip about it because it's unusual. This allows me to focus on other things that are important to me like pursuing my education. Porn has awarded me the privilege to spend way more time preparing for class, doing homework and working on projects than other classmates who have to work every day. I believe that is part of why I am such a good student. I simply have the time because I'm not concerned about making a living. Porn has bought me time. I also don't have any student loans. I'll be graduating with my masters degree debt free. I consider this an enormous advantage in a time where most students are stuck with large payments. After I graduate I won't have that problem, I will have more funds available to invest, travel, save etc. This fact alone can make a big difference in building a financial portfolio and even if I work a non adult job by them, having 500-700 dollars each month more, can really catapult your portfolio and net worth into a different category compared to people who have to use the amount to pay back loans. The other thing I really love about porn is that is has allowed me to grow into an independent woman. I own my own house and I pay my own bills. I don't have to rely on anyone and I'm not choosing a personal situation out of economic pressures. I feel like that is a huge freedom and privilege for a woman. I also like the laid back character on set and the non commitment. You can take time off whenever you want, you can show up in your comfy sweats. The work environment is not as restrictive as other jobs. If you don't like one specific company, you are free not to work for them and as long as you communicate that in a professional manner, it rarely effects your other gigs. The "fame" as you call it, is actually one of the things I don't like. I don't enjoy bring recognized in public and drawing attention to myself that way makes me in uncomfortable.
