As long as the performer is getting booked and making money they shouldn't care much about anything else. IMO there is no such thing as quality in porn, only quantity. You work as much as you can and make as much money as you can. That is what every porn girl would want. Come, work, make money, leave. Simple! Why would anyone want to be in porn and not do porn? You seem to be completely dismissing what Lana is saying. So it all comes down to money and nothing else? Albeit money is important, but health and happiness matter as well. Seems weird you wouldn't consider those aspects. And as far as flooding the market with scenes, there is something in business called the law of diminishing returns. I'll assume you've heard of it. Sure, making a lot of money quickly is great, but it is a proven business model that the more something is available the less it is worth. Again, at first, this could work out great, but in the long term, unless she defies the normal rules (which she might) in the long run having so many scenes could hurt her value. I believe any adviser worth their salt would agree with this strategy of slowing down her output and building some future demand. If she were in her thirties, maybe time would be of the essence. Yes Health and Happiness should always be the priority. I meant they shouldn't care about the worth of their content as long as they are getting booked. Getting booked and making money are the only things that should matter to them. For a performer there should be no such thing as a quality shoot. They can not say I worked for Brazzers and it was a high quality shoot and the one with Bangbros was a low quality one. For them as a performer all shoots should be more or less the same. They go in and they give their 100%. Fans and Companies begin to lose interest in performers, no matter how hot they are, in 5-6 years from what I have seen. You only have so many years to make money before you are expired. They will only lose interest in your vag scene with time. That is when you move to anal. when they lose interest in anal you move to DP...... She explains that scenes don't pay as much as you think, and when you factor in all the expenses that the performers are responsible for, such as bi-weekly testing, health insurance, etc, it's not a way to make a great living. I don't have the quote, but she basically says even if you could work every day the money would not be that substantial. The real money in adult work is in dancing gigs, toy deals, and other outside opportunities. The porn scenes enable the performer to make a name for themselves, which allows them to capitalize on these outside deals.

Sometimes it's not always about the money. How is shooting too many scenes not good? Well, for starters, health and well being as we know from Lana's situation. Another way is in flooding the market. As in, if you shoot a TON in a short time or are consistently shooting and having scenes released than eventually demand goes down and people get bored of you. Now, I am not saying this is the case for all porn stars, or even Lana, just in general that can happen. Take Allie Haze for instance.
