I cant say that I am a regular at porn cons but really now seeing all these wonderful ladies assembled in a single place, let alone in a single booth... just wow... That definitely must be the most impressive booth I ve ever read/seen in an AEE con. Ever!!! If someone goes there is a huge chance to make pics with those beautiful ladies. Lana is looking fantastic at AVN 2017. I must be another one of the oddball minority, I only like watching gg and not bg (although if a model chooses to do both I am not bothered) and so looking forward most to what she has in store in gg department, especially her upcoming Greg Lansky scene. Hope it is just like the old RK WLT glory days. If it looks good I will probably get a subscription JUST for that one scene. Loved her girlsway scenes she is definitely a natural in the art. Hope to see lots more gg scenes with Lana going forward.

Lana was the best at AEE this year. Very warming to each and every one that was in her line and actually took the time to personally interact with them. I seen this more than once as I was in the line a couple times on different days and even got a kiss on the cheek. Made my whole trip as she was one of only a handful I wanted to see and she was at the top of the list. Much more stunning in person, pictures don't do her justice. Also Greg's whole booth was over the top and the best I've seen in years

^^Award winners in this category is always controversial. I think maybe XBIZ and AVN looks for different things. Each company has their own award criteria and perspective. Maybe XBIZ picks the starlet who made the biggest impact in the business and AVN picks the one they think is the strongest new performer. Anyway congratulations to winners and nominees.

Lana definitely won both the fans polls of Xbiz as well as the AVN Awards...so basically that means most porn fans felt Lana was the best and hottest debutant last year. Definitely a huge achievement when one takes into consideration the amount of time she has been in the industry and the amount of scenes that came out. Just goes to show and also totally correlates as to why this thread has so many pages. Lana definitely is one of a kind pornstar and these two awards definitely proves it. Politics being politics but that didn't stop it from the fans showing their desire and love for the girl.
^^^These industry (not fan voted) awards are based on sexual performance not beauty. The nomination period was from September 2015 to September 2016. Holly Hendrix produced more content and more extreme (i.e., bondage, blowbang, anal, DP, etc.) content during that time period than Lana. She even had her own showcase. Yes, Lana wasn't in the business that long during the nomination period but you can't dispute the variety of performances that Holly did. I'm not a fan of Holly Hendrix but I can see why she won. In any event, winning the fan based award isn't trivial. Her beauty coupled with her extreme popularity with fans demonstrates her marketability. This ultimately should be the most important thing for her because it translates into more money in her pocket if she and her management team capitalizes on it. In my opinion XBiz award is more performance centered, judging from the winners the last years, (e.g. Katrina Jade won the award this year and Dani Daniels last year, clearly two of the best performers in the industry in all categories). It was a very very good thing for Lana that she won this award. Meaning that she is not only among the hottest girls in the industry but she won the attention of feature companies too. An excellent year for our baby. I wish for more successes this year. Holly Hendrix is an excellent performer too and a smart girl, she was wayy longer active last year and she has done many more scenes from Lana. Btw Lana herself in her podcast a few months before predicted that it would be Holly Hendrix or Kimmy Granger... I am very interested about Marc Dorcel interview btw, which of course it hasn't released yet. I would REALLY love to see Lana in their studios. She is still a teen but judging from her photoshoots glamour, style and class suits her very well and something tells me that this day will come soon This award was one more proof about the excellent connection between her and her fans. We love you baby and we know that you love us back!!! PS. The only thing she needs to improve in my opinion is her politics. She needs to look a little bit more... friendly to the industry. I know she is very introvert but she is also very smart and she will understand how this game is played too. Other than that she is perfect everywhere. Meanwhile... Explore Sexuality!

I personally feel that the criteria is flawed in itself for these awards. I mean pitting someone who has just been 4 months in the industry against someone who has been there for more than a year and half (Holly started around mid 2015) and has far more number of scenes and variety of scenes is really quite unfair. I think they need to decide that either there needs to be a minimum duration to be eligible for the best New Starlet like for example being in the industry for at least one year or so or maybe just limit the nominees to the Best New debutants during the year..like for example in this case those who debuted in 2016. Take for example if that was the criteria , the nominees would be something like Kylie Page, Jill Kassidy etc.(besides Lana). That would really solve the discrepenecies as well as the fan view about these awards.
Is it just me or in that last picture posted of Lana does she have a passing resemblance to Emily Blunt Given her popularity f Lana's career goes the way its expected to in 2017 she does seem a hot commodity right now, I'm sure she'll win a lot of awards in the future
