Bree Mills has made a personal statement regarding the allegations.

Damn, I'm one of many who likes the whole Bree Mills line in assuming it's a preferential space away from the toxic masculine parts. While the metoo movement has its puritanical issues it is a necessary cleansing enema agent at this point in porn's backlogged toxic constipated history. You hope that it leads to the ethical behavioral guidelines and sensibilities that this industry needs.

There's a lot more to this and it can't all be posted here, but Charlotte Cross and Samantha had an interaction last night where Charlotte told her story of inappropriate behavior on Sam and Alan's part, leading to the following statement:

[Tweet is no longer available]
In followup tweets, Sam claims to have been manipulated by Alan (which lines up with her original statement) and apologized to Charlotte for her behavior. We're now up to four women with public accusations.

Now that is low. How do you even think about sex when someone say they have cervical cancer? Thats a person who doesnt even have a soul. Nobody cant even defend that either. Like the only thing that could be worst is if I hear of him having sex with a corpse. I mean this is really disgusting.

Bree's statement is pitiful. I'm sure her lawyer wrote it. She is ignoring the elephant in the room. It's like when atheltes do wrong and release a bullshit statement. That's exactly what Bree did, it's so politically correct it make me cringe.

As it appears bree will have to testify whatever she states publicly could and would be used against her by the counter part to diminish or even annihilate her value as a witness , so she really cannot say anything about anything.

Exactly. Damage control with no real information. Standard corporate procedure. There really needs to be a zero tolerance stance on BOTH sides of this equation.

^Did you expect her to say more or to say it differently? Once this kind of thing occurs then lawyers take over and there are good reasons for that. Gamma may be the employer of Bree and Alan but should they legally be responsible for actions that occurred away from their studios. Especially if they were never told of what occurred until much later. It may be a very different thing for Bree if it's found out that she knew what Alan was doing and never stopped it or at least told her employer so that they could take care of it.
I agree that tolerance zero should be the norm but exactly how do you enforce that tolerance zero policy? It's one thing if you see it happen on a porn set but this appears to have occurred away from the studio and unless the performer comes forward with an accusation (like Lily has done) or you somehow know that these things are happening then it's impossible to enforce any rule.

^^^^ You summed why the statement reads as it does well. Expounding upon that though, the entire company could potentially face heavy litigation if it's found that this behavior was commonplace and was made aware to those who had power to change it yet did nothing until now. While some of this alleged behavior seems to not have happened while shooting was taking place, it's worth noting that a lot of Girlsway content has been shot at Alan's house. Using the pretense of a go-see would mean that this could theoretically be tied to occurring on their set depending on dates/times/etc.
^ To your point on enforcement, the only real way I can think of to truly enforce a zero tolerance policy is if one of the advocacy groups (FSC/APAC) put together an independent group where they'd send a representative to be on set for any company that had the policy. They'd send a report of the day's events both to the group and the studio and if any wrongdoing occurred, it would be subject to the policy set by the company for discipline. It also stands with why the statement even for a legal "safe" one is rather toothless and again screams for there to be an independent investigation, not an internal one. As Aya touched on, with the current lack of transparency, any finding either way in regards to her actions can't be looked at with certainty that everything was in fact investigated. If Alan's kept on or even fired and the investigation turns up that nobody beyond him did anything wrong, how are performers and the public supposed to feel confident when the accusations are that a coverup occurred? If both Bree and Alan are fired, the questions of whether or not Gamma knew of the behavior and allowed it to continue before this went pubic come up. There are just too many variables at play for an internal investigation to hold any real confidence no matter what the outcome.
Aya also touched on the fact that there haven't been any strong defenses of Alan/Gamma compared to other incidents in the industry over the last few years. If anything, outside of support for Lily, it's almost been radio silence through all of this from performers. I didn't expect much with the New Year holiday, but even after the statement was released today, there's still nothing. It's pure speculation on my part, but this could be a sign combined with the statements that Sam and Charlotte have made that the behavior was known in the industry.

^Maybe Gamma might face major litigation but then again they might not because if they were not aware of what Alan was doing behind their back then they cannot do anything to stop it. It goes back to what I wrote. You can't enforce a rule if you don't know that someone is breaking it. That said a tolerance zero should have been in effect all over the industry for decades but unless studios are willing to deal with the problem themselves than no one will do it for them because sadly your suggestion that an outside agency monitor/enforce any current/future rule will never happen because those agencies do not have the money to do it.
Why would anyone foolishly come to Alan or Gamma's defense when they may not know what is happening anymore than the rest of us? At this point the only thing that is very different from most other Social media accusation is that we have the names of the people involved and a description of what happened from the perspective of the (possible) victim. That is why Gamma did what they did and why others are coming forward. If it wasn't for the names of the people involved then we would all be spending days if not weeks going back and forth with different theories as to who the performer is talking about and at some point no one would remember what the back and forth was about and we would move on.

Yes there needs to be zero tolerance but you need to understand that once lawyers and publicists get involved, surgical gloves come out to deal with this sort of thing. I doubt very much if Bree would write a statement so PC as I've seen her get fired up in a podcast. I would like to think she will keep a serious distance from SBA and release a more unrestrained statement at the conclusion of this internal investigation but this highlights why we need an industry wide trusted sheriff if you would who can handle allegations to make sure if there are sharks in the water, that they are subsequently removed.

Has not been proven in a court of law. There is a big problem in this world with "rush to judgement" and I do it all the time myself.
I do believe the girls, but he has not been convicted or charged. Should he be able to work in his field? Of course; but as consumers we have the right to watch or not watch behavior we do not agree with whether proven or not.
I chose to not watch until a resolution is reached. If Lily lied, she's done for me. If Bree lied, same thing. Zero tolerance.
While I do agree that it is nearly impossible to enforce zero tolerance in a he said/she said scenario, If you support the protection of either party by the studios, you support the abuse.

I think so far there is only Lily Adams who said she was raped. Not four girls. If we're talking about the other girls that came forward with accusations, it seems like this guy (if all they said is true) has taken advantage of his position in this industry and of the girls naivety. And even if it is morally sketchy to say the least, this isn't punishable by law.

^^And probably will never be proven in a court of law because this is a pure he said/she said type of scenario where you usually can't do more than accuse and hope that the person accused can never do to other women what he did to the women accusing him. Even if what Lily and others have written is true and you find a "Princess Room" in Alan's house. If it gets to court than Alan's defense lawyer will simply say that what happened was between two consenting adults and the women are now either lying or not remembering correctly and since there is no evidence of rape/sexual assault than it's almost impossible to get 12 people to find someone guilty. Sadly the fact that this is happening to porn performers would more than likely be used to attack the character of the witness which to me sucks a lot because most people's character is never judged based on their job.

Well James Deen had no shortage of defenders when allegations were made against him. It was largely older porn stars such as DD and AA who perhaps had a more old fashioned 'get on with it' mentality, or wanted to ensure they would get to work with Deen again as be was the most popular male porn star by some distance.

If I were girlsway, I would fire Stills By Allen, and Hire 5 Female directors immediately.
If they replace Allen with another guy, That might be the final nail.

What? What does the gender of any new director matter? Surely the most qualified applicant(s) should be hired - regardless of gender.

I actually think that Bree Mills statement was pretty strong, and believe that the steps outlined are the correct ones to take and is as much as she can do if no one is willing to get the authorities or courts involved. But for some, I don't believe there is anything she could have said or done that would have been enough.
I truly believe that there are those who have already made up their minds as soon as the allegations surfaced, and would be satisfied with nothing less than both SBA and Bree being fired and GirlsWay shut down altogether.
But I still believe that things will return to normal sans SBA in a few months time. It will be interesting to see what GirlsWay looks like after all this has settled, unless there is even more revelations to come.

^^I can't speak on the forcefulness of her statement because It's possible that Gamma's lawyers did the talking and not Bree herself as it's very dangerous for any of the involved parties to make private statements in these situations. Especially if there is some evidence that proves that Bree was aware of things happening away from the porn sets. Even if Bree was aware that Alan liked to invite some of the women up to his Princess Room. Could she have done anything about it if none of the women complained that they felt coerced into having sex with him to get the part.
I have a hard time believing that SBA can ever work for Gamma again because if it had only been one person and it could have been shown that she had personal issues with him than he could have weathered the storm but you now have multiple people coming forward with similar stories and while it may always be an he said/she said type of scenario for each of them. There are still multiple people saying about the same thing.
I am also quite curious to know the future of Girlsway is because unless I am way off. Bree and SBA are basically the only people producing content for GW. If neither of them is working for GW than you basically have to hire a new producer and new director or promote from within(if possible).

Gamma Films issued the following statement today:
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Gamma Films Institutes Production Code of Conduct for Performers, Crew

(Montreal, QC / January 11, 2019) -- Gamma Films Group announces that it has issued a code of conduct in an effort to protect its performers and crew from any form of harassment or misconduct before, during or after a studio's film production.

"As a company, we care deeply about the safety and well-being of our industry and everyone in it," said Karl Bernard, President, Gamma Films Group Inc.

Key excerpts from the Production Code of Conduct have been released regarding the Expected Conduct of Contractors, Subcontractors and Representatives working with the company and its subsidiaries.

Maintain appropriate boundaries in professional relationships with Performers, and not use the power inherent in [their] position to exercise unreasonable or inappropriate authority over Performers, crew members or other Representatives

Not engage in physical, psychological or sexual harassment of any Performer, crew member or Representative. Harassment may be a single incident or a persistent pattern of behavior where the purpose is to create a hostile, offensive, or an intimidating environment

No Representative, Contractor or Subcontractor shall demand or solicit any personal sexual favors from Performers on or off set, offer the exchange of work, gifts or influence in casting in return for sexual favors from prospective Performers, or solicit or accept gifts or sexual favors off set in exchange for casting and/or preferential treatment on set.

Regarding its 'go-see' policy, a Performer/Representative meeting should be scheduled and at the time of the meeting a third party shall be present. Any Contractor, Representative or crew member found arranging private 'go-sees' will be terminated.

It is not permissible or acceptable to use a position of authority to imply, suggest, promise, threaten, coerce, lure, entice or reward Performers with casting or work in return for sexual or other forms of favors. Being in a position of authority, it is critical for everyone to feel safe and supported. It is never, under any circumstances, appropriate to engage in sexual activity while working for Gamma on set.

All performers will be required to complete a checklist of acts or scenarios with which they are not comfortable (known as a 'no list') and exchange the same with other Performers in the film and the Contractor prior to the start of any production.

The Contractor shall be responsible for discussing the 'no lists' with the Performers and all parties must sign off on the checklists. The Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring the points specified on the checklists are respected during filming.

Any Representative, Contractor or Subcontractor who witnesses acts of sexual harassment, is advised of any incidents of harassment or any violation of this Code of Conduct will be held accountable to immediately report the incident to Gamma.

If a Performer forgot personal property or has to finalize paperwork, for example, the Contractor or Representative will arrange for the property to be returned to a common place or the Performer's agent, or for the paperwork to be completed in a common place. No Performer crew member or Representative should ever be invited to a Contractor's house alone.

The excerpts noted above are part of a more comprehensive document that will be implemented across all of Gamma Films' productions over the coming weeks, including Girlsway, - which is scheduled to resume full production in February - by producers who have reviewed and signed off on code of conduct.

Gamma Films' next step will be to identify a third-party reporting process to offer Performers, crew members and Representatives, a means to safely report unwanted behavior by Contractors, Subcontractors, crew or Representatives.

"We want to ensure that a new standard of conduct is not only something that we discuss, but that we put into action," said Bernard. "That starts with what we can improve within our own productions

^ The porn industry really is the wild west when it comes to things like this, so I'm not surprised that they didn't have anything in writing. Hopefully this means that other studios will take similar action, as well.
I do think some of the specific points of the code of conduct might give some insight into where the investigation is going. Clearly, even if an investigation turned up nothing, something similar to this would have been instituted. However, while some of the specific points of the allegations made by Lily are addressed here (go-sees, using their position to coerce/pressure, solicitation), I do find it interesting that they put in the no-list being a requirement as well as the final point on picking something up that was forgotten. While the former is good PR especially with some of the incidents that have occurred on other sets recently, the latter is so specific that it leads me to think that came from the investigation. Also, it put a timeline of February when things will resume, so presumably we'll at least have an answer about Alan by then (I still have reservations about Bree's role in all of this) which means that at least their investigation is wrapping up shortly.

^^I think that Bree was aware that SBA regularly had sex with some of the women he shot for two reasons. The first is that it's kind of hard to hide that kind of thing from your coworkers unless it's done separately from your work environment but I think some have already claimed that he did it from his home and they shoot some of their scenes from there. The other reason is that women have no problem talking about the guys they have sex with and this is the kind of thing that would get revealed on a porn set.
The only question and this is the most important one is whether she was aware that some(maybe all) of the women felt coerced into having sex with him for fear of being blacklisted or badmouthed to other producers.

Would if be so bad if you did just ignore them? Is there some social significance to the world that demands people call attention to them? Lily has made some allegations that I guess must be serious and true enough that the company has stopped working with the guy, issued press releases, and instituted new company policies about accepted behavior as indicated by the video clips posted here.
You seem to be well connected and friends with the girls in the industry, so I'm a bit surprised that you'd almost support the guy. On the off chance you interview Lily, are you going to mention to her that have no problem supporting the accused by reviewing his work?
There's no point to the observation, other than it was observation.

Nothing bad. Nothing good. It's a non-issue. Companies send me disks to review, I have an obligation to review them.
Is there any social significance to porn at all? Why don't we just shut down the industry?
Allegations is the key word. Of course the company has (temporarily) stopped working with the guy and issued press releases. That's what happens in this "Guilty until proven innocent" society nowadays.
Yes, I have friends and know a lot of people in the industry. So how does that make me support Stills by Alan by reviewing his movies? I have people that I don't particularly like in the industry and have given them good reviews and have friends that I've given critical reviews to. It's called objectivity. I've gone to concerts where I can't stand the artist's political campaigning but I enjoy his music. I'm just suppose to ignore everything because of some accusations? Mindi Mink wrote and cast a scene in my most recent review, as did Alina Lopez and Kenzie Reeves. I'm just supposed to tell them I'll ignore your work because of something that allegedly happened 2 years ago?

Just now, I found myself wondering how Lily Adams is doing right now, so I'm checking out her Twitter. It turns out she's out of the country right now, she left about two weeks ago for what she described as "a month-long healing retreat in the Amazon." Apparently, the journey to Peru didn't get off to a good start, as she made a bunch of frantic tweets about her luggage getting lost by the airline. Before leaving, she tweeted this statement:
