^The problem with your statement is that plenty of people go to prison with very little facts and/or evidence against them in the same way that plenty of people get acquitted when there is a lot of facts and/or evidence against them. While we would all love to have both the law and justice. What we ultimately have is only the law and sometimes justice is served. Have you not heard of the Jeffrey Epstein case? There was plenty of facts and evidence to convict him but do you think justice was served?
While I have often said that this is an he said/she said scenario. In fact it is an he said/they said scenario because at least three women have reported the existence of SBA's "Princess Room" and while we will never know if what SBA did to those women is sexual assault. It is and always was abuse of power and I don't think many people are arguing that part of the story.

The old joke used to be that porn was more legitimate than Hollywood because in porn you didn't have to fuck anyone to get the role.
In any other business, behavior of this type would result in dismissal. No company, anymore, will tolerate this. Unless he or she had a camera on at all times, the likely hood is we will never know what may or may not have happened there. It is highly unlikely all these girls colluded to smear one of the hottest directors in the industry at the time, more so when the supposed incidents are that far apart, but stranger things have happened.
I have a legit question, and I do not know what the answer is:
What is the purpose of a "go-see"? You could easily just show up an hour early for your shoot and check everything out. This seems very sketchy to me.
^^I'm like you in that I don't know the answer but here are some possible reasons for a "go see".
1-You might want a "go see" to get a first hand idea of what the performer looks like. Especially if you have never worked with her before and all you have are agency photos and stuff you can find on the net.
2-You might want a "go see" even if you have worked with the performer in the past if you haven't worked with her in a few years and you want to make sure that she still looks the way you remember.
3-You might want a "go see" if you have a specific role that requires a certain level of acting above the usual stuff and you aren't sure that the performer is up to the job.
^^^ A go-see in designed to essentially be the equivalent of visiting universities for new models that you're interesting in attending if you're about to graduate high school. You network with the director/crew, see what goes into a day shooting for them is like and decide whether or not you'd be willing to shoot for them if they're interested in booking you. As we see here, they're also easy ways to take advantage of as the models that do go-sees are barely into the industry. To give credit where credit is due, Gamma's updated go-see policy should be the industry standard going forward.
^^^^ Again, I think it's telling that Alan's only come out denying Lily's allegations around the time that Gamma's investigation concluded, yet has done nothing to refute what may be if Sam's tweet is accurate to be seven other reported claims of misconduct. Not to mention, Lena being told not to go on a go-see and going as far as to warn models that were repped by her agency that "fit his profile" to stay away to me means that this behavior was incredibly likely to have been known for awhile. At this point, from both a PR and legal perspective it's likely best to not bring Alan back from what's been made public. While we don't have nearly enough information to know whether or not criminal charges could be filed, I think it's entirely possible with just the information we know that a lawsuit could be filed against Gamma/Alan (of course, without knowing more of the specifics in terms of when Gamma was first made aware of Alan's behavior makes it impossible to know the potential success of a lawsuit). If he were to be brought back tomorrow and charges are filed, it would potentially cripple the studio going forward on a public relations level. In the event charges aren't filed and a civil suit is and discovery showed that they were aware of behavior and did little to curb it, the public relations storm would cripple the studio, not to mention the financial damages that a lawsuit with merit could bring.. At least by not bringing him back, they can claim they weren't aware of any actions until now.
I think it is extremely idealistic to say that the adult film industry should follow the same sex in the workplace policies that exist in the non-sex work world. What does that do to director/actors? The industry as it is right now has very small profit margins. It would totally destroy the industry to require that every director not be actors in their film. What about all of the single scene content trade stuff that helps many actors keep the lights on? All that is really going to do is make sure that only the biggest companies survive while the struggling producers and actors that rely on self-produced content get weeded out by regulation. It still won't end the fact that there will always be bad people that do bad things.

^ Where did you get that? Acting in the film isn't even in the same area as this alleged incident. This happened off screen. Even if that policy was in place, the mere fact that some directors are in there films would inherently make that portion of the law inapplicable to actor/directors in the same film.
^application of what law? There is no law that specifically pertains here. You can say that there are sexual harassment laws but they do not specifically state that sex with a person of your employ is illegal. It is the use of your power over the other individual to demand sex that they would not do otherwise that is the crime. In non-sexwork fields, it makes perfect sense to write HR policies that prohibit relations between employers and employees because sex is not a part of the job. In porn, sex is integrated into the business. When you start demanding policies that restrict sex between directors/producers and actors (because of the power dynamic between them) you cannot separate that pre and post shot because that power dynamic exists in both situations. If you make this a sexual harassment issue, then you are also inviting the government to regulate the industry more and we all know how much Cal OSHA would love an invite to regulate the industry into the ground.
She may not be lying or she may be, but fuck your defence. Why would she lie?! What the fuck has that got to with anything??? Jesus Christ! It doesn't matter one fucking bit why she would or wouldn't lie. It's utterly fucking irrelevant and only serves to establish a false narrative of guilt to support your position.

^ Lily Adams is usually a happy and energetic person, always smiling on camera, but when I saw her on this post right before I played the clip, I could just tell by the look on her face that she was devastated. You usually don't see Lilly very down like this at all. I feel bad for her and many other ladies in the industry who go through a lot with their own experiences. The drama and the chaos between the women are real.
^^You do know that they get paid to smile and be energetic on camera right? Too many people are equating their on-camera personas to real life, not just with Lily but with everyone.
I have talked to many girls in the industry and complimented them on a scene and, sometimes, they'll text back that it was the worst experience they have had or something along those lines.

^ Yeah, I'm a porn fan 'n all, but I understand that a lot of this stuff is just a job for these girls, that very little - if any - of the work they do is actually enjoyable for them. When it comes to porn, especially the gonzo stuff, you have to be extremely naive to believe that every scene a girl shoots is a total "blast" for them. Remember, they're doing what we love to see, not so much what they love to do. Let's face it, if this biz was all about what the girls enjoy, porn scenes would be A LOT different.
I think with any job there are those days where its no fun and you dread to even go in to work. In general though, if you love what you do you are going to enjoy it. I do believe there are different reasons why performers get into the industry. It can range from just wanting to explore their sexuality to just wanting a paycheck. I believe that its situations like what Lily is going through that can ruin any kind of enjoyable experience in the industry. I cant even imagine what Lily is going through and just as she feels alot of people turned on her, she does has tons of supporters and Im one of them. Im totally not used to seeing Lily like that in the video and it was hard to watch because of all the emotions from being sad that she is going through this to being upset that Alan did this to her and other girls.

Nothing new in that article or video interview. The LAPD is still investigating, Lily is still being attacked by people in and outside of the porn industry, and SBA is still suspended by Gamma. Looking at Lily's Twitter right now, she's really gotta do herself a favor and kill the social media accounts; social media is only going to make her more depressed.
I really hope someone that personally knows Lily is trying to help her. Her mental state seems so fragile. From the tone of her tweets, its almost as if she's looking for an excuse to harm herself. Despite overwhelmingly positive and encouraging messages I've observed towards her (both from in and outside the industry), she seems to put so much energy into reacting to the negativity. As someone who's also struggled with depression and despair, I understand that tendency and empathize with her.
Based on what little I could dig up, the site is tied to whomever is behind Pure Play Media and Jules Jordan Video. They are using the same lawyer and such.
I don't know who coined the expression but it's one that sadly applies to too many situations in the industry and that expression is that it's nearly impossible to flunk in porn. You can fake test and still get hired. You can use your influence to get women to sleep with you and no one does anything about. I was checking out Mike South's site(not his anymore) and there are a couple of threads regarding Ivan Itzkowitz and he is another SBA but in some ways even more of a douche.
Unless SBA has been secretly shooting for GW then they seem to have survived his departure so why would anyone else want to hire someone who to me is only going to bring you trouble somewhere down the line because I don't think he will stop doing what he ha done in the past. Especially if he didn't really get punished.
