^ Were you presiding over the case in court or were you an officer of the probation team handling her? If not, whether "her debt to society is paid" has little more value as an opinion than one holding the view that her apparent lack of contrition and having violated the terms of her probation suggest otherwise.
Would you tell the victims parents that they should simply move on after child pornography was allegedly recorded? Had a man done this, would you insist that his debt to society had been paid?
^ Indeed. When you plead guilty to felony child abuse and had been implicated in sexual activity with minors and recording it, you're surely going to make yourself difficult to employ in this industry.

Rooting for a pedophile to come back to the industry - now I've seen everything and sadly this is why the porn industry get vilified above other forms of sex work.
^Most of the predators get away with it. Ryan Madison is still working, for example. Marsha May actually went to trial for her crimes. She was sentenced. She paid for her crimes. You can argue she didn't pay enough, if you want.

Went to trial and got 10 years probation, that's not paying for your crime. That's like those repeat DUI offenders who end up with 8 or 9 arrests but are back on the street by dinner time, it's not until they end up critically injuring a kid in their reckless driving that it dawns upon the justice system that such people belong in jail. I hear your argument but let's be honest: if you knew you could commit heinous crimes and just be given probation for a decade, that's enough incentive for pretty much anyone and everyone to act like it's the purge - committing every atrocity under the sun with the expectation of never being prosecuted. I would also add that with the exception of Mercedes Carrera who was brought up on false charges to make an example out of her and was actually jailed for it, I don't know of many female adult performers who have a resume quite this questionable as a predator.

^Mercedes is actually still awaiting trial. It keeps getting pushed back, for some reason. I will admit that I don't know all the details. I think I can safely say though that we don't know for sure that she was falsely accused since she hasn't been acquitted yet. There must be some reason she's still being held without bond. Holding someone without bond isn't done lightly. As far as Marsha goes, I hear what you're saying about the punishment not being stiff enough. There are reasons her punishment was less stiff than the other people involved. I won't argue the validity of it as far as her sentence goes, but I'm sure they were a factor.

Her ex husband is apparently a religious Christian fanatic and the holding her indefinitely is working as she has found God and renounced porn. She wants it banned and has gone all anti liberal etc, basically she's off the deep end like a select few adult performers who left and now want to burn the place down. But I agree with you about Marsha May, given the nature of her crime - she can't be forgiven in my eyes.
