For someone who regrets being in the industry she sure does have a hard time taking down the IG posts with her shots from Lanksy's sites.
Little by little that is starting to change, and she is relatively young. She COULD ride the "porn is evil" train, and coast on that. Obviously, it would be hypocritical to do so, but the public does have short memories.
I think the latest vixen post are from a contract thing because she already deleted a bunch of old photos of her vixen angel stuff and from other scenes. Also, technically, she already changed her name on Instagram to miss mia and you can't search her with mia melano anymore.

All true, but she still has over half a dozen Lansky pics on her new IG - if she was really full of remorse and done with it all she'd go anonymous and stop posting pics from that dark hour of her life, it's all an act.
That's why I say maybe is a contract thing. Because all the pictures that are from Lansky stuff are from the latest vixen angel photoshoot she had with him.

I scanned the thread back a few days and a post from a few days ago prompted me to post what I did. Anyway, back to Mia Melano.
I've been out of the loop for a bit. Who says she's full of remorse about having done porn? What she said in a throwaway comment was that she regrets it, (yet she still goes by "Mia" and has hr Vixen photoshoot pictures posted - which actually may be a contract thing but in that case why change her IG? She could keep her old one, wait till her last scene(s) are released and then make a brand new one with no-porn related content.
^ Possibly because there is nothing in the contract that says you can't change your name or username in the social medias, just probably has something about 'promoting' and/or posting the pictures which like some people mentioned will probably be deleted with time. Also probably she doesn't fully plan on removing her 'Mia' persona. She may 'regret' doing porn but she definitely doesn't regret the popularity she got out of it it seems. Just like the other "Mia" mentioned. Kinda hypocritical but well you have already more or less been popular or notorious because of porn so why not just ride the wave of the popularity you got from it. Not like it hasn't helped many other performers before...I mean look at Mia Khalifa or Lana Rhoades or Sunny Leone....

That and because just a post or two before that I posted the same sentiment about her IG content.
That's what I mean. If it was a full 'regret', why not take the IG down, remove all porn related photos and start a new one with no porn related content under a different name? If she has to keep "Mia" as a name and her Vixen photoshoot photos up because of a contract, then why change the name of her IG once again? It feels middle of the way, kinda. Take down the more risque photos, say she regrets it but keep some of the promotional pics (because let's be real. If someone reverse-checks with her photo, it'll be a porn photo rather than one of her more casual ones).
On the whole she doesn't strike me as a hypocrite. More like someone who speaks without fully deciding what she'll say. Doesn't help that she rose to fame too fast and too suddenly and she can't handle it maybe. I mean, she had what? One or two scenes and people leaked her real identity, her family's social media accounts, photos of her home etc. Other porn actresses don't get that after tens of scenes!
I've never been into Mia Khalifa but even I know her name because yeah, she rode the coattails of her porn identity to the max after she quit the industry. I believe she'd been shooting for years though, right? I stopped following Lana once she became a blow-up doll (not a fan of -badly looking to boot- plastic surgery, sorry) and I have no idea who Sunny Leone is.

I think members here who are active are in between that people you reference as 99% and the extreme creep/stalkers like the guy (or guys) who did that to Mia.
we aren't part of the overwhelming majority that just watch porn and "whacks off to their videos" because we go a step further... we care enough about certain women in the industry and their work/videos... and it's a big enough part of our lives that we come to this forum and go into different threads to engage in conversation about them so that's a lot more than just the average porn viewers
With that said, the overwhelming majority on here aren't stalking them and trying to ruin their lives by releasing personal information, either.
^Eh, I suppose that could be true. I don't watch anywhere near as much porn anymore as I used to, I don't know if it's age(I'm still not even 30 yet though) or what and I replace the decrease with my time just talking about porn in general here. Whereas there a lot of folks who don't talk about it on message boards but whack off/watch porn twice if not 3 times as much as I do. I still think the key is to never cross that line to stalking-mode.

There is a big difference between caring enough for an actor/actress to come here and talk about them and stalk/hack/snoop around to find and publish their personal information for our amusement. It's a wonder how Mia didn't break contract, turn and tun like hell away from porn after that.
Just wondering out loud. Is it possible Mia's family have tried to put some type of legal block against the release of her remaining scenes? That would be one explanation for the delay.
^Anything is possible, but I doubt it. When it comes to their daughter fucking on camera, I'm afraid that ship has sailed. I can't imagine there would be anything in these other scenes that would make them 'worse', from their perspective, than what she's already shot. And it's hard to see what legal grounds there were to stop their release.
^^ She's a legal adult and has been doing this job for a year now. I don't see how they'd have a leg to stand on to make that threat/deal.
I do wonder however if Lansky is planning on holding on to them until he needs a filler for when one of his currently contracted performers is unable/unwilling to film in time.

Good grief, I can understand them not being in a hurry to release her scenes since her contract ended but this is getting ridiculous! It's been too long without any new content from Mia since that abysmal (she looked straight up scared and the guy had the charisma of a two-by-four) Deeper scene!
I know I've mentioned this before, but the longer the delay, the more I think her family is attempting to block release of further scenes. Whether I am right or not, and whether such a block, if initiated, would be successful, who knows. It is my hope the scenes are released sooner rather than later. You're right though, it is very unusual to hold scenes back. That's why I wondered if it wasn't because of Mia but because of her co-stars in the scenes. BTW, until last night anyway, Mia took down all her photos on IG aside from three of her very early selfies.
It could simply be Lanksy milking it for all it's worth. He knows some people are very interested in seeing her remaining sets so he could be playing the annoying game of waiting long enough to keep their interest without waiting too long and she becomes irrelevant.
Man! Mia has shot only a scant number of scenes and has over 650,000 views here. There are some who will be going through some serious withdrawals after her last scene is released.
^^If the moderators allowed there to be a Lana Rhoades thread, I imagine it would have a similar level of interest. Every so often a girl comes along who just blows the fucking doors off the industry. Lana was one of those girls, and Mia definitely is one of those girls. Her looks and figure are so spectacular that it would be impossible for her not to cause a massive stir. But, presuming she stands by her decision to retire, the interest will gradually wane. It's hard to maintain a huge following if you're not producing any product at all.
