I think you miss my point. My point is that it is a mistake to use politicians as a bellweather for anything remotely controversial. Even for something as simple and legal as sex. We know politicians have sex because they have rugrats. But you will never see them talk about or be in some sex-related type convention of any sort. I agree but the association with porn can get you blocked from certain jobs that don't even involve children. I got a big problem with that. A college professor should be able to be a professor even if she or he is actively doing porn. If he is qualified what she or he does outside the campus means jack. But I doubt this is the case.

A big problem in our society is how we get judged by what we have, how we have succeeded at a job for example, things we have as interests, possessions, money..not by the person we are. I have and still get the razzing at work about being "obssessed with porn" because I read about he industry, know who many stars of past and present are. Know the companies names, etc. And because the word Pornography is a dirty sounding word, it gets frowned upon along with the fans of it. Most willgo by one porn that shows a chick getting treated like shit and then thier view is that all porn is this way. Ignorance. But as I say to these people, who are the same ones saying "Oh you are going to a porn convention, are you going to bang any porn stars", educate yourself about something before you shoot your mouth off. The same comments from women saying "What a life, screwing different guys everyday, that is disgusting" and yet you point out to them that the porn industry has more women and less men, and the women bang the same men like how Evan Stone does his g/f Jessica Drake or Voodoo doing Nicole Sheridan. But it falls on deaf ears because porn will always carry that stigma of being for perverted guys. Ahh see I am an antagonist. I hear the razzing and i laugh along because these simpleminded people I work with are just that..simpleminded. And if it annoys them that I say Jenna Jameosn, or Brittney Skye or Tabitha Stevens I will talk more about it. The thing is, when something has a negative stigma to it and is stereotyped in a bad light, the people who do like it are right away frowned upon. But it is all ignorance most of the time, and these people who put us fans down and the performers just do what the majority of the population does, follow the leader. These same people look at Jenna Jameson and think "Wow she is so hot" and the women say "How sad that she does that for a living" yet Jenna is a smart business woman in a male dominated run industry. I realized yesterday that it has been over two weeks now. In these two weeks almost every electrical appliance in my place has been turned off. The refrigerator was making me panic.
