I thought I heard she maybe writing a book or something, so maybe this kind of blog entry is written as mostly entertainment and mixing in real life with that, but taken on face value, it's not the same funny Penny at all. Should she really be judging this guy? He works, the account has him never doing anything other than being nice, and so, at some point, he asks Penny out. According to Penny, herself, she completely believes that he doesn't even know that she's "Penny Flame" and he just thinks he's asking out a pretty girl that he thinks is nice. She can't just politely decline? She can't just take it as a compliment? I bet a lot of girls would like to get asked out as often as Penny and I'm talking purely about the people who like her for who she is and don't know about her career. Instead, there needs to be an extremely shallow carving up of this fellow, including going to such lows as stating it wasn't impressive enough for her that he charged her the lower price instead of the higher price? Seriously, what more (even if she would have considered the guy worthy of a date) would she expect him to do to make more of an impression? Empty the register and give her whatever they have every time she comes in? It can't be enough that he just isn't her type or that's he's not attractive in her opinion, but she actually mocks him because of where he works. What would Penny be doing if she couldn't fuck for money? Also, as unlikely as it is, what if this band recorded a hit album and become rock stars one day. Again, not likely I know, but would that make it right for this guy to then look down at Penny because he was a rock god who made millions a year and she was a pornstar with no other real talents? I mean, she writes well and is quite entertaining, but she's no Jack Kerouac. Again, if that was meant to be a sarcastic, funny take on a guy she rejected and a lot of that was added on because Penny writes well and knows how to tell a good story, then I'm completely wrong. Otherwise, I'm not a fan anymore. Some people don't like women who are overweight or don't do anal or don't do interracial. I think it's fair to have a strong opinion of not liking a porn star, as much as it's truly possible to like or not like someone you don't actually know, based on their personality. And I used to think Penny was probably one of the nicest people in the business. A kind and open person who wouldn't judge others or mock others like that and seem to get a kick out of it. Has she become jaded? Has she grown up and her beauty faded? (Inside joke...maybe Penny would get based on what she the novel she read either just before going to Europe or while there).
