It seems that every month alot of porn parody flicks hit the shelve. Personally I hate these films. They aren't erotic and an awefull waste of porntime. Anyone agree with me?
^ I personally don't like them but I find it hard to complain. At least they're starting to try different things. More variety is usually better. Edited by - randomprecision on 12/29/2009 6:35:39 PM

Any overriding trend of any given time or place, ultimately pisses me off; bandwagon jumping is the ultimate lack of creativity... This trend's no different. I like hot women though, that's is and always will be the main thing to spark my interest, regardless of porn genre.
Totally. They are flat sexually. Lisa Ann in Nalin' Palin? Wasted talent. Not the Brady Bunch? Cheers? Give me a break. I haven't watched a Vivid movie in at least 12 years. Parodies were way worse in the 90's.
I'd rather have the parodies than an endless stream of titles such as Cum Gargle-Gulpers #387 or Nymph-Defilers #465 or Shut Up And Fuck My Face #652 or MILFs Who Want To Be Used And Then Discarded Like So Much Kleenex #9547. At least with the parodies there are attempts at plot, dialogue, acting--even political satire. Until such time as porn movies get decent stories to go along with the sex--or until the adult industry starts making movies out of my screenplays--I'll be glad for the parodies. ___________________________________________________________

If you don't like them, don't buy them. I see no need for companies to stop producing titles that obviously some segment of the buying public wishes to spend their money on.
I would like to see someone do a fun porn lesbian version of Prisoner Cell Block H,who would play Vinegar Tits?

i agree they kind of overdid it now i did buy a few in the beggining but now its too much they need to bring hardcore porn back wheres khan tushion when u need him? :)
I've pretty much ignored this glut of parodies except for reviewing a wacky take on THE HONEYMOONERS made in the 70s. In other words, these xxx satires have been around awhile; they must be easy to write and must make somebody somewhere a few bucks. It's a niche that likely isn't going anywhere, anytime soon---T0M
Agreed. These things are not only not sexy and mostly stupid, but you have to figure the companies are spending more money making this stuff than they would on simpler stuff. And I don't just mean gonzo, but most stuff figures to be cheaper and easier than this stuff.
the crap starts with the title. "not seinfeld" or "a seinfeld parody" indicates the producers and writers were too lazy or too stupid to think of a clever title, and the covers generally show the dregs of the porn industry.
I don't agree. It's the quickest way to communicate what the movie's about. People can find it if they want it and other people can avoid it. I would be pissed if I rented something entitled say "Last Shot" and it was a "Cheers" parody. That's how they used to do it. I remember watching some old movie that was entitled "Southern Charm" or something and ended up being a parody of "Designing Women". No thanks.
And the "dregs" of the porn industry? Kristina Rose, Tori Black, Kagney Linn Karter, Jenna Haze, etc etc - have all performed in parodies. I guess your disgust with the genre is masking your ability to be objective.
I'll admit it! I do like them! In fact, I've pre-orderd "Not the Cosbys XXX 2". And I do have my collection of Lisa Ann's portrayal of Sarah Palin. I know that Pornstars are not noted for their acting abilities but I think being in a porn parody gives them an opportunity to show their comedic side.
Do you often long to laugh while you masturbate? I can't remember the last time I combed an agency's website to see which girls were the funniest. Edited by - Crucifixio_Jones on 1/16/2010 10:17:37 AM
I can't say I like porn parodies, but I do get a laugh or three out of browsing some of the titles. My favorite one, way back in the 90's, was when Disney's Pocahontas was very popular. A porn parody was released called Poke-a-hotass. I lol'd.
Usually before and after. I'm afraid if I laugh during brushing, my hand would slip off my strudel and hit me in the eye. As you know, it's all fun and games until someone gets hit in the eye! Edited by - grover on 1/16/2010 10:28:19 AM
I've only seen two of the new ones so far. The "30 Rock" one and the "WKRP" one. The biggest reason I haven't watched more of them is because they usually don't star girls I want to go out of my way to see or parody shows I have a strong interest in. The two I saw were in some ways better than I thought they'd be considering the budget they probably had to work with trying to recreate sets and such. I think they're a good thing because they offer an alternative to the typical gonzo and the typical features that exist now. Anytime there's more choices and variety for consumers to pick from that's always a good thing...even if "I don't like it so it shouldn't exist!" crowd fails to see that. The parody stuff seems to be high profile now and seems to be profitable for the studios, so that's always a great thing. It's probably fun for some directors to be able to do something a little more ambitious than the standard gonzo scene. Artistically...What can you say? It's porn. It's stuck with weak acting, weak scripts, and close to a zero budget. They do the best with what they have but in the end it's a porn movie and in the end it's all (or at least mostly) about the sex. I have to imagine if you like seeing the girls in Gonzo/wall to Wall stuff you should enjoy them having sex in the parody because the sex scenes are probably about the same for many of the girls starring in the parodies.

If you don't like them, move on. They'll disappear if there's enough of you. Why do you even care to impose your taste on everyone else? God knows there's varirty in porn. Not a lot of quality, but variety.
Humor has been an important aspect of porn since its very beginning (I'm talking, 16th century onward), and is still evident. Also, I enjoy seeing the performers be playful - charisma, character, and personality in general only makes a performer more appealing. I have absolutely no problem with laughing along with a movie and still finding it hot.
Yeah.. I'll move on. But what i am trying to say is that with the amounds of money spend on those parodies.. (clothing, make up, set design, lighting, locations, storyline etc) a whole lot of other quality serious nasty porn could have been made.

You're denying reality. When the parodies die out, they'll only make something just as bad. So it has been (sigh!); so it shall ever be. But good luck!
the porn actresses i remember for humor are penny flame, gianna michaels, and kaylynn. i did not notice kristina or jenna on any parody covers. when i said dregs i was thinking of the guys. male ugliness seems to be a requirement in the parody field. if there is a lesbian parody, without implants, then maybe i'd be interested.
It's certainly a bandwagon that needs to be culled, but there are worthwhile parodies being produced if you're open to the genre. The New Sensations stuff is usually good and pretty accurate to the original characters (if they were hyper-sexualized, of course), and Will Ryder has some entertaining stuff as well. The problem is when 1.) There isn't enough focus on the sex and 2.) the settings and characters really have little to do with the original. At that point it's more of profiting off a title with very little substance.
...that appeal, however, is one that is, fortunately for us all, not exclusive to starring in a campy, low budget adult-themed parody. There are a great many performers whom I fell in love with over the years because of their onscreen charisma, unique personalities and playfulness: Friday, Mika Tan, Lily Thai, Bella-Marie Wolfe, Gianna, Penny Flame, Kami Andrews...the list is neverending. And none of them had to play a character in order to have that shine through. I want to see my performers be THEMSELVES not Edith Bunker or Helen Willis during scenes and if they happen to make me laugh while they're at it, so be it. [Link]
The parodies do seem endless these days and they don't appeal to me in the least. Truthfully, I could care less about a "story" as it only delays what I'm really watching the scene for in the first place and these parodies for me at least, just seem so completely "unerotic". But if others are into them, more power to them. The market will ultimately decide whether they should continue and in the meantime, given my ability to ignore them, their current existence doesn't impact me one way or the other. As far as "funny" porn stars are concerned, a couple of people mentioned Penny Flame. I could never tell whether she was funny or not as I never had the patience to sort through the 500 words per minute coming out of her mouth nonstop throughout every scene to tell if any of them were humorous. In the meantime, if they insist on doing more parodies, let's hope Pink Visual can convince Conan O'Brien to do Conan the Bangbarian. Edited by - jakerson181 on 1/17/2010 1:11:58 AM
Some "serious nasty porn" is still being made. Has there been a noticable drop in "serious nasty porn" being put out since the parody stuff (that hasn't even reached 50 movies in a sea of other types of porn product) started appearing? If it's a profitable genre for the companies doing it, why would you expect them to stop? If you had a company putting out something that sold well would you stop putting it out to please the people who didn't like it? If you're porn needs weren't being met because of parody movies existing I could see your point but only a very, very small but popular percentage of movies being done is parody. You come across as someone who basically doesn't like the idea of something being popular that you don't like and want to see it go away because of that. It's your right to feel that way and/or speak out about it but it just seems strange that you even care about something you aren't even forced to deal with.
Yeah, how many fucking parodies are you going to make? There's Friends, Seinfeld, Cosby, Scrubs, The Office, Willy Fucking Wonka. When I saw that skinny turd pornstar in the silly Jerry Seinfeld outfit and the stupid hairdo, I'd seen enough.
i would call a seinfeld parody A Sitcum About Nothing. i would put some serious effort into finding the right actress to play ellen. voice and vocal delivery would be more important for the seinfeld character. i would cast kramer as a woman. maybe in a relationship with a butch dyke newman or an FTM newman (new man). if george is in the script, he might be a guy on the sidelines leaving susan unsatisfied, so she turns to ellen, kramer, newman, or a threesome with kramer and newman.
You have far different memories of that show than I do... That's ok. I had my moment over 90210. If they want to work, not much. But that wasn't the comment I disagreed with. I have since learned that charn apparently dislikes male performers in general so... Edited by - savoy on 1/19/2010 9:14:14 AM
I agree with Flash. Vote with your feet. Porn studio's will continue to make titles that continue to sell. Plain and simple, good business. If you don't like them, don't buy them, and the message will get across if there's enough of you making the choice. "Bandwagon Jumping" could be a whole new genre in this industry, sadly. - Mark Maddy G Productions
I'm proud to say i haven't seen a single porn parody despite Missy Stone being in a bunch of them. And its going to remain that way......unless a Buffy the Vampire Slayer parody comes out. That might take a second for me to think about. ----Dread----
Wish porn parodies would catch supercancer and die in a fire of broken glass and razor wire (That rhymed! Wheeeeeeee!). My tipping point is the "Jersey Shore" parody shitshows forthcoming. Stop it. Fucking stop it. And yes, I'll continue to not buy it since I don't like it, thankyaverymuch. I blame the Wayans brothers. ------------------------- Edited because "impending" and "forthcoming" in the same sentence is redundant. My seventh grade English teacher is spinning in her grave. I feel like I'm in the middle of the biggest WTF? in history. It has to stop. Sweet Jesus please make it stop!!! I don't want to do a parody of the 11 O'clock news but at some point I'm sure that I'll be told that I have to.
I think that porn parodies have their place. If done properly, they will work. When watching one I only care about how close they are to the original. The sex in those movies isn't important to me.
Although I respect your opinion, the sex is the reason that porn movies are made in the first place. Why would anyone be interested in the low budget porn interpretation of a classic TV show if their goal wasn't to whack it silly?
