Or some "neutral" fans who participated every round thought "One IR pairing is already in the last round, then I'd rather have a different genre against them from the other half, for balance reasons" and added their weight at the scales of Cade/Joli. I know I did vote with this thought in mind. Possibly a factor, but of course again: only speculation. Last year's winner was Lily Cade/Charlotte Stokely (released on "Prison Lesbians"), so it was always clear that a) the G/G pairing from the Sweetheart part of the bracket would be a contender for the title if there are popular girls paired, and b) that a pairing with Lily Cade would be a contender. (I know this entry seems to be based on very broad assumptions; in reality it's much more complex than "here's the people who like ALL g/g porn, there's people who like ALL IR porn", because more people will like only some of every genre, e.g. because of performer likes/dislikes. But looking at former years, e.g. the DVD with the absolute winner scene from 2013, "Mother-Daughter Exchange 2" (Sweet Sinner), was according to their website released on 07-30-2014, about 15 months after their victory! That means there is indeed still hope for the 2014 winners... Let's hope they'll see the light of day ^_^ For the record, in each of the first two editions (2012 and 2013) 3 of the Final Four scenes finally got produced and released. Some of the misses can probably be explained (e.g. Angell Summers probably retired before they could shoot with her; and the Sweet Sinema label pretty much got abandoned somewhere in between). Just like 2014 will eventually turn out...hopefully. As for this year and Kota's scene: maybe they manage to get 4 of 4 off the ground in 2015... :) [Link] |
