I remember a Hollywood actor (I think it was Seth Rogen) on The Graham Norton Show saying that he found it easier to cast porn stars to do naked roles because for the mainstream actress they had to enter negotiations and fully explain why the nudity was necessary whereas for the porn star it was the easiest shoot they'd had that week! Pornstars have a place in Hollywood but it's mostly for nude and sex scenes. Game of Thrones used pornstars for all the sex and nudes scene you so on the show, why do you think they were so long and graphic. The biggest hurdler for Evelyn is the stigma of doing porn and being typecast. No pornstars have gone truly mainstream. Click to expand I don't think she's getting roles just because she's a hot-looking pornstar and I understand there are tons of girls fighting for roles in Hollywood. Remember you also need to know how to act on film to get work in Hollywood. Evelyn had some acting roles in porn but not much I have seen. So, I'm not sure if her acting is that good but she did get a major role in Pleasure so she must be good enough for some mainstream work. I just wonder if she signed with some Hollywood agent who's not warning her about how hard it will be to get roles. Hollywood agents are just as bad if not worse than porn agents. Most pornstars just get work in B-Movies and horror movies like Ginger Lynn doing the Vice Academy movies or Ron Jermey with Troma. I believe porn has a handful of really talented actors in the industry that could go mainstream but the stigma of porn always held them back. [Link]
