Glad I cancelled my membership before it renewed for another year, Two updates a month was bad enough but now only one a month, No thanks not worth the money And the update today was with two girls who retired some time back so not only are they cutting way back on scenes they appear to now to be just uploading old stuff
So it's back to a 14 day countdown. Slayed looked promising, but I guess they couldn't find a large enough audience. Just like lesbianx or girlgirl.com. hardly any sites left that have a decent amount of GG content. It's a shame, but there's only so much I'm willing to spend on porn.
So the execution has been stayed. Now they say there has been a mistake on the date, and the next update will come in 2 weeks not 4 weeks. Well. It does not fill me with confidence. First, let's address the latest scene wtih Red Fox and Sophie Sparks. It's directed by Julia Grandi. Like most of the other scene she has directed, its quality is just plain bad.
The setting is very beautiful. But I do have a problem with it -- both women are very pale, so shooting under such conditions they will get very sunburnt, unless they have a lot of sunblock on. Which will feel pretty uncomfortable, especially if they have energetic sex and get all sweaty. Good thing we don't need to worry about that.
The kissing is very tepid and there's very little foreplay. Then they choose to have sex standing up. Unexpected, this brief part at the start is the only part where there seems to be some good sex. Sophia's oral on Red looks pretty nice, and she seems to finger Red energetically. Red later rubs her own clit hard while being fingered by Sophia, so this part is actually not bad, even though it could have been much better if they are just on a bed.
The rest (~70%) of the video just went downhill with no brakes. Red's own oral consists of the barest hint of her tongue touching Sophie. When Sophie fingers Red again, this awkward position has me worried about her suffering wrist injury. During the face sitting and 69, Sophie's oral seems to be so much worse than that initial part that I wonder if she's silently pissed off -- well if you are just phoning it in, why shouldn't I?
Anyway, judging from the Red Fox's profile page, the last scene she shot for them was with Vixen, released in June 2019, and the physical setting seemed to be the identical pool. Many others in the comments section said both had retired long ago. So this scene was most likely shot at least 4 years ago. It's possible that way back when they knew this was not a good scene, so they didn't release it. Now they are shooting very few new scenes, so they are digging moldy junk out of the closet as a filler.
I think I'll have to take an approach someone has suggested before: wait until a large number of good scenes have accumulated (if they ever do), sign up for a month, then just download them.

And the high frequency of these women show that on the US side, they understand who the good performers are. Whoever does the casting in Europe just doesn't know what they are doing.
As for my subscription plan, I'm only taking after your suggestion friend. Just to be clear, I do support AHL, which continues to pump out one scene a week, with an annual sub.
I wonder how things would have turned out if they actually did what I hoped they would have from the start and just apply the same style and format of the VMG group sites: a minimal story set-up/voiceover, and more grounded and realistic sex in standard settings.

I'm curious about just how unpopular Slayed is relative to other VMG sites. Unfortunately unlike Gamma sites (like Adult Time) or MindGeek Sites (like Brazzers), VMG doesn't list the number of views for their videos. So here's what I did: I went to Porn Hub, and it turns out VMG puts up a 12 minute version of pretty much all their videos on there, and PH does list view numbers. So I calculated the average number of views for all 7 of their sites. My "sample size" is simply the first two pages of videos sorted by "most recent," or about 70 videos each (I exclude any compilations). Note that MILFY is an exception, since it's new. It only has 12 videos. Below is the result. The "ratio" column is just dividing the number of views of each site by the lowest-ranked site (171).
I emphasize that this is not how many views the videos get on VMG, it's just how many views their extended trailers (that's what those 12 minutes videos effectively are) get on Porn Hub. The popularity of "Blacked" among the non-paying "general public" is amazing to me. Slayed, on the other hand, is not very popular (expected), but not the worst either. If these numbers correlate with paying audience, MILFY is the one that needs to worry.
But do they correlate? It's possible, as this pretty much constitute marketing for adult sites, doesn't it? Even if they have marketing dollars, no non-adult platforms will accept their advertising. So it's possible that some percentage of these non-payers get converted to paying members. If this is the case, then perhaps lesbian sites suffer a particular handicap: the conversion rate might be particularly low. As I've argued elsewhere -- also based on Porn Hub data -- the majority of non-paying lesbian porn viewers are probably women, but the majority of the paying customers are probably men (based on a Bree Mills interview in 2016, where she said 90% of Girlsways members were men).
I'm surprised tushyraw doesn't get the boot instead. And I don't understand why g/g isn't popular.

SLAYED is not a site we really care for, but we took the plunge on one of the cheap membership-offers to grab scenes from models we like such as Jia, Jayden, Freya, Aidra, Scarlit. Even if a scene stinks -- and almost all studio G/G reeks mightily -- we can still have a great time laughing at the male-oriented stupidity of it all.
Worst cums to worst, there are countless impromptu drinking/toking games that female viewers can play while watching shitty studio G/G. Drink at every head-tossing, eye-roll. Drink every time a model does a deer-in-the-headlights stare. Drink every time a model on all fours points her a-hole directly at the camera. Drink at every death-curdling squeal, etc, etc, etc. Guaranteed to get a viewer wiped out in mere minutes if she's not careful.
As for this particular scene, it has Jia Lissa. Annnnnnnnd, that pretty much covers all the positives. Really. Is there anything else positive we can say about this scene? The in-your-face porniness level only goes to 11, which is surprisingly tame for SLAYED.
The two minutes of obligatory tribbing is one of the many comedic highlights. It's so wonderfully stupid. Of course, it involves one of those hilariously, idiotic, contortionist positions that no lesbians on the planet ever do.
As with EVERY studio G/G scene, there is ZERO actual oral in the scene. There is about 4 minutes of showy, fakey, porn-licks. Included in that 4 mins is about a minute of Lansky-esque asshole tonguing.
There are two, count them TWO, moments in the scene where there are visible physiological changes that may have been brought about by physical stimulation. IOW, maybe, just, maybe...by some miracle of Gaia...somebody in the scene got fairly close to O'ville.
One happened while Gizelle was frantically fingering Jia. JL took matters in hand, as it were, and tried to finish herself off. The other happened near the end of the scene when The Wand was brought out.
The spontaneous laughter at the very end of the scene was adorably cute. I'm surprised that the director/choreographer didn't axe it.
The worst thing about the scene by far is how controlling and clumsy the director/choreographer is. There is absolutely zero flow to the scene. The edit breaks in the scene are very noticeable; the endless position changes are very poorly done. Some of the gynecological closeups are very jarring.
It would have been nice to see Jia paired with an A-lister like Freya or Alex. But, honestly, with this heavy-handed director/choreographer it prob'ly wouldn't have made any diff.
Instead of wasting a 1/2 hour of your life watching this scene...Jia Lissa fangirls should just watch her SLAYED scene with Merry Pie/Maria Pie/Patritcy (Doll House3, 2023). Or, even better, watch Jia's non-studio content with Merry and Adel and other girls.

I watched the new scene and I thought it was excellent. Laney can do no wrong in my eyes and her and Octavia work really well together. The moment in when Octavia says "I'd love to cum at the same time with you" is so full of passion. There's no 69, which is great but there's no tribbing, which is not so great. My favourite Slayed scene in the last 18 months.

This is a (partial) review of the latest scene between Queenie Sateen and Jennie Rose. Three things to note: 1. I say partial, because I'll cover just the first 30 minutes of this 40 minutes scene, since the last 10 minutes involve mostly a handheld dildo and squirting, both of which are turnoff for me. 2. The first 30 minutes, however, are nothing short of spectacular. Of the scenes involving these two that I've watched, they are both very beautiful and good performers. Those two are far better established and well known, so is this a subtle but daring challenge? We are just as good as those two?
The kissing in this scene is, well, spectacular. Deep, hot, wet, and they kiss very frequently throughout the scene. Jennie also lustily squeezes and sucks on Queenie's gorgeous breasts.
Queenie's oral and fingering are just spectacular (I know I know I'm overusing this word). She deeply licks and sucks on Jennie, and also uses her fingers in combination. Parts that I don't care for: Skye Blue's effort to pleasure Cherry. Well, she's just not very good at it. Tribbing: very badly done, which seems to be quite common for the director KGB. Parts that I dislike: squirting. Cherry does all of it, which makes my job easier as it coincides with Skye's active part. So those parts are not part of this review.
Also, have I mentioned how good this looks? Especially Skye, whose pinup girl hair is amazing. Above are from the photos gallery -- another thing that you rarely see from other sites these days.
Why has Slayed cut back its production? It's probably at least partly due to stuff like this. The opening is the two of them going into a very elaborate (for porn) set, in fake rain, the whole thing has a film grain, going from black and white to color. I'm very torn on this -- it's so nice to see something produced and filmed so well, but apparently there's just not enough people willing to pay for it. But if the alternative is to cut the budget down drastically to keep the production rate, I'd say this is the right call.
The color, the lighting -- they just make the women look so good. They are two naturally beautiful women, but again I have to say the production makes them look really mouth-watering. It starts with very hot kissing, with sexy tongue-sucking by both ladies.

The few KGB directed scenes seem to kind of have those close ups but something about the Laurent Sky directed scenes where better to me. There is a certain gloss to them.
