After submitting my copies of "Donkey Punch" along with other artifacts, I was contacted by several other state attorney's offices who were copied on my materials by Ms. Gandy. At least one of them have already taken action, although I find it interesting to note that the "Donkey Punch" DVD wasn't named. I'm certain it soon will be, as I'm assured a number of other titles.
While I'm disappointed that the nature of the legal action against the producers of this travesty isn't, in fact, assault and battery charges, it appears that justice, however convoluted, is being meted out in one manner or another. And as pointed out elsewhere in this thread, if you want to kill the snakes behind JM, you have to go for their wallets.
More info as it becomes public. For now, this should suffice.
CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Federal indictments charging seven counts of interstate trafficking in obscene material were unsealed today against JM Productions and its principal Jeff Steward, as well as retailer/distributor Five Star Video and two of its principals.
The indictment charges both physical and Web transportation of material included in the video features Gag Factor 15 and 18, and American Bukkake 13, all of which were produced by JM, and Filthy Things 6, a Powersville Production distributed by JM.
Specifically, the indictment, which was handed down on May 23, charges that the Five Star Video defendants "knowingly used an interactive computer service and other facilities and means of interstate and foreign commerce to sell and distribute, to a location in Northern Virginia, obscene DVDs ... in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sections 1465 and (2)(a)," the federal obscenity crimes sections. The transportation allegedly took place on Feb. 6 of this year.
The indictment also charges that those same defendants "knowingly used the United States mails to mail and deliver to a location in Northern Virginia, a DVD containing obscene matter," while another set of counts charges that those same defendants "knowingly used an express company or other common carrier for carriage in interstate commerce and delivery to a location outside of the State of Arizona, of a package which contained DVDs that are obscene."

That creaking sound you just heard was Pandora's Box being opened. If you want to go after the perpetrator for assault and battery fine but there will be no shortage of government busybodies that will take this ball and run with it as far as they can in terms of going willynilly with obensity charges for anything they can remotely connect with this.

Good. The jack asses who get off on producing/watching physical abuse and psychological humiliation of women (which has nothing at all to do with the fantasy that is porn) should ALL be rounded up and carted off to prison.
No ties. I just don't get involved in political discussions.
To answer Everett's question, I have a passionate side, but I also really get off on getting roughed up such as choking; however Donkey Punching? Never. I'm not into any kind of punching.

The problem is "psychological humiliation" is a subjective matter. Just because you think the porn you watch does not psychologically humiliate the performers doesn't mean a prosecutor or other government official(particularly self-righteous, "family oriented" ones running for re-election on this agenda) will agree with your opinion.
It seems as though this is just a coincidence and doesn't have anything to do with this guy complaining about Donkey Punch. The indictments are all related to a sale in Virginia of videos other than Donkey Punch, and they came from the US Attorneys.
These guys probably won't get any help from the Free Speech Coalition. I caught an article from October, 2001 where Steward apparently had a little battle with the coalition's director.
people who get upset about porn, and people who prosecute/persecute legit pornographers are low life scum.

Yeah, right. Anyone who produces or gets off on watching a film where a woman is punched in the face during a sex act is the real scum bag. Furthermore, this type of crap is precisely the fuel that the moral majority needs to bring down the entire porn industry. Keep it up, sick bastards. You're going to ruin the fun for everyone.
How is your statement any better than those made by the most vociferous anti-pornographers? Vilifying those who dislike porn does nothing to promote any kind of rapprochement.
Certainly one doesn't have to be scum to be upset about porn. Porn companies don't do themselves any favors by putting out content with titles which are sophmoric at best and insulting at worst. Crap like Donkey Punch doesn't serve to improve the view of most people about porn, either. I doubt that most people will ever think that hitting somebody during sex is a good thing.
Ahh, not this again! Yeah, I don't see any real evidence that these particular charges are connected to the weird Donkey Punch gift set that was supposedly sent out. I suppose it could've played a part in attracting attention. Anyway, hopefully Donkey Punch itself will remain out of it and the porners will win, for the sake of precedent if nothing else.
This from the Star of "Forced Entry", the Rape/Murder porn flick. Slapped around by Luc, simulated rape, simulated murder, and pissed on before you are killed. And that's just the first scene. The other girls got slapped around worse than you, but JM should stop the "circus acts and jailhouse porn". Im surprised Rob didn't run right out and start shooting that, you know that he would have no problem with it.
Oh, you were only acting, true, but the slaps were real, and probably the piss too. And so was the effect on the public and feds, that was definitely real.
Damn baby, I didn't notice your huge balls flopping around when Luc was smacking you around.
As long as the performers are of age, and consenting, I wouldn't tell anyone what they should or shouldn't watch.
It has been years since anybody posted in this thread. I didn't learn about the scene or what donkey punching meant until years after this scene coming across the message Alex Devine wrote outlining her horrific experience. The scene is still posted online and she's not exaggerating. Though I haven't met Alex Devine or Steven French, I was in 2 earlier videos the Johnson brothers directed. I blogged about this and the issue of consent in porn here: https://veganvixentessa.blogspot.com/2022/11/consent-is-hot.html As far as I know, the Johnson brothers no longer produce porn. Please correct if I'm wrong.
