The big deal is that Republicans, who make up the so-called Moral Majority. tried to get Bill Clinton impeached for chasing Monica Lewinski around the Oval Office, but couldn't find a damn to give when it was revealed that Trump had sex with a porn star, despite the fact that he was married, with children. He couldn't even trot out the excuse that it was a mutual fling, because we all know Stormy didn't do it because she had the hots for Donald.
In other words, it goes to the hypocrisy of both Donald Trump and the "Moral Majority" that supports him. Granted, their hypocrisy has been exposed for ages, but since they never admit to being hypocrites, rubbing their faces in it is fair game.
There is a question of whether or not he paid her with campaign funds which would be illegal.

Initially maybe, but gave her a new career and parlayed that into making more money. When it's all said and done, definitely a win win for Stormy. I don't think she did a single XXX scene after the Trump connection.
Anyone remember this? "Trump and his supporters denied the president knew about the payment for several years before he acknowledged it on Twitter in May 2018 and said he reimbursed Cohen for the money paid to Daniels."
^^^^ Gennifer with a G is definitely one hot woman. She played it smarter with exposing the affair with Slick Willie than Stormy did with the TrumpTrain.
"California prosecutors said he was enjoying a $US200,000-a-month lifestyle while cheating clients out of millions of dollars and failing to pay hundreds of thousands to the Internal Revenue Service."
"Avenatti also faces the start of a fraud trial next week in the Los Angeles area, a second California criminal trial later this year and a separate trial next year in Manhattan, where he is charged with cheating Daniels out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
"The now-twice-convicted criminal - and one-time rising star - faces a maximum of 22 years in prison for his conviction on fraud and aggravated identity theft charges."
"forged Daniels' name on a letter to her literary agent that directed him to transfer two payments meant for the adult entertainer into a bank account he controlled."
"The DA's office has been investigating the former president in connection with his alleged role in a hush money payment scheme and cover-up involving adult film star Stormy Daniels that dates to the 2016 presidential election. "
Apparently Trump supporters are mad at Stormy Daniels. Someone tweeted Trump wouldn't touch her with a ten foot pole. She tweeted back it was a 3 inch one
^ Stormy Daniels publicly states that the way Trump openly disparages women over their appearance allows her to publicly mock Trump over his physical features.
So the charge is not paying hush money to a porn actress. It's falsifying business records (to conceal the payment) for the purpose of committing an illegal act.
"Daniels last night hinted that she had been celebrating the news of the former POTUS's historic indictment by drinking champagne. She also suggested the news had prompted a surge in sales of her branded merchandise and autograph requests."
"The indictment alleges that Mr Trump falsified cheque records and ledger entries over the course of 11 months in 2017 to make it appear that those payments were for "legal fees" and not reimbursements."
"the district attorney's office elevated the charges to a more serious felony level because, it said, Mr Trump intended to cover up the felony federal campaign finance crime"
"additional legal fees from adult film star Stormy Daniels, who had filed and lost a defamation suit against him.
Daniels was ordered to pay Trump's attorneys just over $120,000 in legal fees. That's on top of the more than $500,000 in court-ordered payments to Trump attorneys she's already been ordered to pay."
"Daniels had sued Trump in 2018 after he called an allegation by Daniels that an unknown man threatened her in a parking lot to keep quiet about her alleged affair with Trump a "total con job" "
Huh? So if someone makes an allegation against you, and you say it's BS, they can sue you for defamation?
^ Sorry, I don't agree. The media just describes Daniels as a"porn actress" because it adds to the selaciousness of the story - and sex sells. And as for what "would the media say if she were a supermarket checker or dentist-how frequently would they describe her that way?", the same. Media outlets always describe people by how they earn a living. Why is a separate question.
And with Daniel's being a porn actress, that is actually the reason she is able to speak so openly about the liaison. It allows her to be unshameable. As I heard Daniels' herself say regarding this in just one of the many interviews she's given: "the whole world's seen my butthole".
As an aside, this is actually an interesting article on the porn industry and mainstream society. But I don't think many people are going to see it here. Just a suggestion to post it in the porn pool. (Maybe here)
^ Though I have heard it discussed that there was another woman for which it was confirmed that Trump had paid to keep quiet about their sexual encounter, but that has had hardly any media coverage in comparison.
