I don't know much about contract disputes, but Teagan's loyalty and willingness to advocate for her defender is impressive as hell. Her hubby is a lucky dude.

Being a pest to people in the business has always carried the risk of deactivation here. I didn't hear you complaining when they got rid of Sexy Jen or whoever it was.
SexyJenn heckled me for months & I didn't do anything about it & nor did the moderators because I didn't make it a big deal. & they annoyed to an extent where I got e-mails saying to have them deactivated because they were too much. This doesn't feel the same way. They weren't directly trying to instigate. Teagan
Had I noticed it, I would have done something. Christian hasn't complained about anyone either. I'm just getting sick of JulesJordan gonzo fan following him from thread to thread and making the same snide comments regardless of the topic of the thread. BTW, in case you haven't noticed, sexyjenn has been deactivated too. After going back and reading sexyjenn's posts, she never would have hit my radar because she wasn't a "one trick pony", posting the same thing in every thread in which she interacted with you.
It's now the second most active thread ever. I still haven't read thru the whole thing yet. I've only made it to the post I quoted above. This is some entertaining shit.

i dont hassle that dude, ive commented on him twice, the first time was clearly a question, i dont even know who is except for his scene with teagan, and arin was the one who stated he did gay porn, not I, you can threaten me with your deactivation all you want bill, does that give you joy in life to kick people out of an INTERNET chat forum lol lol lol, people can critize robby d on here, critize jules jordan on here, teagan, etc. i have posted about christian TWICE, i definatley don't follow him from thread to thread, i stated a FACT, not demeaning him in anyway, i was just wondering if that was the dude that everyone talks about doing gay porn, you moderators should get your lives together, and stop holding people over with you dumbass threats of deactivation.... its old since i probably will get deactivated, teagan best of luck to you and your husband, sorry for calling him an iddiot, very bad choice of words its freedom of speech, and the difference between sexyjenn and myself, is that i never critized teagan or asked the same dead end questions over and over like she did. i had one very rude comment towards tyler and i already apologized about that.
All I'm gonna say... Whenever a girl signs a contract with a company, that's a sure sign to me that she's never gonna make anything worth watching again. It's like they disappear into a black hole. Contract girls are killing porn! My 2 cents... Edited by - GaryWolf on 1/20/2008 10:47:54 PM Edited by - GaryWolf on 1/20/2008 10:54:02 PM
You're absolutely right, though where one party clearly took advantage of its dominant position to extract terms that no reasonable person would accept if the parties were on more-or-less equal footing, it tends to be relatively easy to invalidate the contract, especially in plaintiff-friendly states like California. Where the contract was executed by two sophisticated parties negotiating at arms length (as in the case of an experienced sports agent negotiating with a professional baseball club, for example), however, courts are fairly skeptical, and tend to lean towards enforcing the express terms of the contract. For personal service contracts (as I assume is the case here), courts generally will not require performance of any personal service elements of the contract, but will try to give the contracting parties the benefit of the bargain they reached in the first place, usually by awarding some form of damages. That may be the sticking point in this case (though of course, I'm just speculating, as are we all). Furthermore, while it's certainly true that circumstances change (as other posters have stated), a sophisticated draftsman (and I assume -- rightly or wrongly -- that DP used one for its legal work) would normally write a contract to take into account the type of changes one might reasonably expect to occur over the course of the contract term, and in many cases, even specify when and under what circumstances either party could terminate the contract. For example, if one signed a contract with a baker for making bread, one might specify that the parties could negotiate higher prices per pound if the cost of the raw ingredients increased above a certain amount while the contract was in effect. If Teagan's attorney didn't notice or failed to insist on the inclusion of an appropriate termination clause, she may be able to sue him for malpractice, but will likely have a tough time getting out of the contract, assuming it is valid.
I have no idea what's actually going on with this contract dispute either, but additional speculation is likely to be completely counterproductive, since only Teagan, Tyler, their attorney, DP's management and inside/outside counsel actually know what's really going on in this situation. Cheers, Sprout Just fixed a grammatical error or two, and added a sentence about termination clauses. I thought the whole purpose of being a contract girl was more money for less work. They get the contract, doing a few films and spend more time on the road dancing, which according to other threads is actually where the big bucks is. Personally, I think someone is giving Teagan bad advice. Her legal team will bleed the case out for a year and she'll incur more in legal fees than she would have made knocking out the 10 dvds that she was contracted to. Most likely, there will be no breach of contract committed by DP and Teagan will still be committed to the 3 years of work under the original contract, thus pushing her back a year. And, if Teagan is worried about her shelf life expiring, which really isn't a valid argument as Kylie Ireland is still going strong in her 30's. I would suggest she let DP market her, and she go out and dance every weekend, throw in a little escort work on the side, and once or twice a week, film a scene for her "private" collection. At the end of her contract, she could start a new series, "Teagan's Private Home Collection" or something like that. Problem solved.
wow, thats not very nice Teagan....I always thought we were friends, we have known each other for over 3 years now. Since when do we have an adversarial relationship? you are siding with an anonymous hater now? I stated some facts about your situation and in my blog, I even stated that I hope you win out in the end. I am actually quite stunned by your response.
it's more of a she wants people who agree with her not banned and people who disagree with her banned no matter how they act or post in the past. You just got caught in the middle.
Here's an idea - go to Europe - do lots of Euro-type scenes featuring that hot new import - Peagan Tresley. Your contract is probably only enforceable here anyway. Not to mention how that satisfy a few thoughts that I have had! I'm always here to lend a hand...or fist. Irish Caraway
Check the credits of most of The Rock's starring role movies, and you'll see Vince McMahon usually has an executive producer credit or something along those lines. At the time The Rock left to go and do movies, WWE were just tinkering with the idea of starting up their own movie production outfit to create cinematic vehicles for their stars, so I think Vince did the smart thing by playing ball in return for both some $$$ plus some real-world movie biz experience. On the flipside of this, the longer Dwayne stays away from full-time wrestling, the more the name 'The Rock' diminishes, hence the transition to 'Dwayne Johnson'. As an aside, I have to say I've been very impressed with what I have seen of him, but not so much with the movies he has done...he just needs that one breakout role and we could very well be looking at the next great action star (which, considering we're seeing the fourth installments of Rambo and Die Hard respectively, is something we desperately need!). Now, back to the scheduled vitriol!

As the etiquette says, if you have an issue with moderation you can email me. Posting a bunch of crazed nonsense about freedom of speech will only lead to the deactivation of your account.
this might be a good opportunity to start a lawyers jokes thread I will add my sincerest wishes for you Teagan that it all comes out ok in the end and I beg you to put yourself and your health and peace of mind first. What about us your fans?...well to paraphrase Bogart 'we'll always have Teenage Anal Princesses'...heres looking at you kid'

You did kind of talk down toward her husband in your post Christian
lest not forget the Rock's father Rocky Johnson is the originator of the name and Dwayne Johnson was first known as Rocky Maivia when he came to the WWF. But obviously Dwayne has a good ongoing relationship with the WWE ilregard his current status with them. Vince most likely learned from the XFL experience not to tinker with something you're not familiar with. Movies are not as easy as they may seem especially since they take a coordination of dealing with PEOPLE and he found that out early. In other words don't mess with the kool-aid if you don't know the flavors. .... p.s. -- I wonder if Vince has ever drunk kool-aid?
No offense intended but it does beg the question of why did you resign with Digital in the first place? I'm all for people making the most for as long as they can but I also think a contract is a contract. I admit to knowing nothing of what went on with you & DP, or what was going on in your head at the time but if you knew you wanted to do all those things....and more power to you....why would you enter in a legal agreement that prevented you from doing those things? The two just don't seem to jive. Anyway, not a attack at all. Just asking a question. Best of luck to you and anything you move forward with.

It amazes me how many people got there account deactivated on a subject us fans do not have all the facts. I made a post in this thread to show my support for Teagan but will hold my judgement on the situation till we hear and know all the facts. You will always have my support Teagan! Stay Strong!
i think it was only 1, and he gets deactivated a lot but your 100% right about not getting overly riled up to the point of getting banned when you don't have the facts.
Wow!!! That's all I have to say is that the power of the fans is crazy. THANK YOU!! The support has been tremendous. Especially to those people who got deactivated (I hope you guys come back soon) & those of you that are still here with us. xox Teagan http://teaganraw.com Edited by - TeaganPresley on 1/22/2008 5:09:29 PM
One person (with two accounts) got deactivated ... and they were destined to be a goner regardless of this thread ...in fact, this is a third time they got bounced ... Maybe you can hire him as a publicist

Glad it worked out for you Teagan....Now get to work so we can some new scenes from you
We will see how long it takes for the papers to be finalized and signed, that will be the true test to what is actually going on with this situation. But none-the-less, this is promising news...I can't wait to photoshoot her again and make some more magic!! Edited by - noahped on 1/22/2008 7:51:08 PM
Teagan, can I get you to sign a copy of this thread for me? I have a color printer...unless you'll be releasing limited edition signed copies. Then I'll just buy it. Incidentally, Teagan, please call Mr Jake Malone. I think you'd do great in his movies.

I read through all of the posts and it seems things have calmed down. Its funny that no one has responded to the part of Christian's post below. "Teagan was (and still is) a very marketable girl on the gonzo market. So she stated in her post that she has a family to support now (2 children and a husband". Is there some reason that Teagans husband who is a grown ass man cannot or could not work to support his family while Teagan was supposedly out of work?
