One benefit of the tilted camera is you can get more of the girl inside the frame, when she is standing upright. If you don't tilt, you end up cutting off her legs, or you have to move waaay back and end up with a lot of empty space on the sides. HD and widescreen formats makes this even worse, so you will probably see more tilting in the future.

I was originally going to write it on black athletes, but I found this topic more interesting. HUSH HUSH is not the only guilty party of this type of IR. Sadly there are many more and even worse they make lots of money. People who have race issues tend to like this porn and drive it with their money. It just says a lot about our country and race relations. I find it strange with all the information about race, history, sex, and genetics that people still believe in stereo types. All the studies of Kinsey and other great minds have fallen on deaf ears. We live in the information age and there is no excuse for ignorance. The above exchange seems to typify what happens soooner or later whenever this subject is broached. I have personally read much in those threads that was thought provoking, but in an open forum like this, there are always going to be people with extreme views who would rather disrupt any reasonable discussion of views to feed their hatred and frustration than try to put that hatred behind them. The worst consequence of racial attitudes in this country may be the refusal by people on all sides of the issue to see that those attitudes can change and have changed.

It is utterly mystifying to me what benefit viewers derive from seeing an anonymous cock going in and out of an anonymous pussy (ass, etc.) from a distance of 6 inches. Well, I actually agree with you here. I hate all the weird angles and contorted positions we get in contemporary porn. A lot of the time, it seems like the actors are going out of their way to avoid even touching each other (reverse cowgirl, I'm looking at you). I'd like to see more natural sex positions, more skin contact, and more intimacy in porn. And if that involves showing some naked man, then I can handle that. But on the other hand, in mainstream porn designed for a predominantly heterosexual male audience, I think the focus should be on the woman. Camera angles should always be designed to showcase the female body. And once the action starts, there should always be more woman on screen than man. I'm not talking total dude-dodging here, but maybe something like keeping 60% female skin on screen at all times would be a good rule of thumb. And the dude should NEVER be alone on screen, not even for a couple of seconds (i.e. no close-ups of man-face), because there's just no reason to include a shot that's going to be a huge turn-off for a majority of your audience.But this is exactly the problem. Most porn cameramen DO seem to go out of their way to shove their cameras up the dudes' buttcracks. Pretty much every porn I watch nowadays seems to consist largely of the following angles: Cowgirl & Reverse Cowgirl: cameraman squats down between between the dude's legs and shoots up from a low angle, filling about half the screen with squinching male asscrack and flopping testicles. Doggy: cameraman hunches up directly behind the dude and shoots the scene through the dude's legs, filling most of the screen with a close-up of male asscrack, flopping testicles, and allowing viewers only a small, abstract view of the woman, framed by hairy thrusting legs. This angle is also used almost exclusively in DPs, where you get double the man-ass and flopping testicles, and half the woman. As a voyeur, I can only see with the camera's eye. And if the camera is right up in the dude's butt, then I feel like I'm up in the dude's butt. And as a heterosexual male, up in the dude's butt is not where I want to be. I don't think that makes me either homophobic or afraid of my sexuality. I just know what I like, and it's not male buttcrack and flopping testicles.

That's because when people discuss race relations it always becomes a fight, which ends up getting the thread locked. And since you are having issues understanding what I said as you made the ending of your post appear to try and encourage more conversation about it, Do not discuss race relations in this thread. If you have to discuss them you can start a separate thread in WN&N, but any fighting in it will cause it to be locked.

Awesome. Another good cathartic thread and it's going to get locked. I don't understand why people just post their race or IR talk in a designated race/IR thread (or start one). As Flash pointed out, there's a lot of ADT posters (adults?) that have demonstrated that they can't handle talking about race or IR without bomb-tossing. What I really don't understand is the persistence of this crap after admin/mgt intervention. Furthermore, why these race/IR zealots continue to do this, after proposals/solutions (with significant support) have been throw around, which theoretically could end up being hugely detrimental to the very thing these posters want (if in fact they want to discuss race/IR and be heard). For example, I read that someone proposed a separate sub-forum devoted to race/IR threads, to minimize collateral damage in (i.e., TPP, SC), but if this solution were ever implemented, 1). Q: guess how many non-race/IR zealots would go to this sub-forum and read this garbage? A: I say very few 2). Q: who the fuck would volunteer to moderate this environment of bomb-tossing? A: no one. The mor bomb-tossing & disrespectful posting behavior, the more these race/IR zealots are pushing themselves into isolation and, I dare say, irrelevancy (at least here on ADT). I thought I'd vent, before this thread is locked. It was good while it lasted.
I love CU's too. But I like them to take considerably less screen time than the wider shots. And I don’t think it has much to do with being perceived as “gay” or being homophobic. For me, the reason it’s more okay to see a wider shot of 2 people fucking than a CU of genitals is purely aesthetic. I love watching women having sex - I love their faces and the way their body moves and the jiggle of their breasts. I love a shot of woman wrapping her legs and arms around a mans body even though typically that shot is mostly on the man. Even a long shot of just a womans boobs bouncing (which is a huge turn on) is too much. Everything in moderation. Too many directors want the CU’s to last too long. That, to me, isn’t homophobic but it is a turn off. I really can't see myself as a director, but I'd love to have more say in what I do; Shoot.
The race/IR crowd doesn't want to discuss the topics amongst themselves and interested parties, they want to win converts fromt he mass of people that could care less and also club others over the head with their overblown opinions. Been there, done that, seen this over and over years ago on RAME and it was a pain in the ass to moderate those threads because you got 5 or 6 civil and somewhat insightful posts followed by a flame-fest that soon had little to do with porn and sounded more like a "debate" between the Black Panthers and the KKK. I knew a German white supremacist girl in college. It was her first time in the States and she would say all this bullcrap that I couldn't stand. Luckily, I wasn't in any of her classes the next semester. After a few months I found out that one of my friends from South Africa who also happened to be black was banging the German broad. I guess her view changed pretty fast. To the person who referred to Hitler's Holocaust as the "Jewish Holocaust": I find that highly offensive. There were millions of non-Jewish victims of the Holocaust and when you call it that, it makes it seem like the other victims were worthless. Please don't do that again.
