Is she bangin' James Deen in real life? She posts a lot about spending time with him, and having sex with him. Now, she does like 1 movie a year....I don't even consider her a porn star anymore. I don't think I've ever seen even a DP contract star do such little, and still be in the business. I guess she just wants to stay associated with it, to keep up her brand "Stoya" and stay in the news...and get people interested in her other projects. If she's dating James Deen though, he's one lucky bastard. I whould've thought she'd be dating some big name mainstream personality though, the way she was going for a while there. James Deen is a nice guy and sure can fuck, but Stoya can do so much better. That's IF they're really dating....and don't mean it as an insult to anyone, just my opinion.
The only time she's ever posting about banging him (or him about her) is when she's in California shooting porn. And she's done the dating a "big name mainstream celebrity" thing before, and it didn't work out all that well (it seems), so I don't see her trying that again anytime soon.

It's pointless to even comment on Stoya and DP's collaborations anymore, as it's been said a million times on hundreds of places how terrible the movies are, and how much of a waste of someone with some much potential as Stoya. After buying every single movie Stoya has done, which is about only once or twice a year....IN THE HOPE, that oh just maybe this next one might be different and actually worth watching, only to be disappointed. Out of all the movies she has done with DP in the years she's been with them...I've only seen a total of ONE SCENE, which I would call a good scene which was shot properly and showed a little of what she was capable of. Other then that, utter disappointment, every time and this one seems no different. She herself must've read it a million times herself by now, and clearly, she doesn't care about the quality of product she puts out...so there's no point in even discussing it anymore. I can not see myself ever buying any Stoya movies anymore, unless she starts giving a shit about her porn career...and not just use it as a vehicle to keep herself in the news, doing as least as possible or required, and promote her name/brand to get success in her other projects/circus etc. I have had enough.
I totally agree with ChuckThe Freak. The only mention of Stoya's name in a film is linked to reluctance, the belief you'll get ripped off by another less than average XXX film. Too bad because Stoya is damned cute and she could have done so much more by doing otther choices.
If DP did features like Elegants three were I wouldn't mind. After all Elegant shoots the porn part of the feature like a goddamn gonzo scene which is how it should be. Until then I could care less about do movies despite sex goddess Stoya being on their roster. ----Dread----

Totally agree with all that ---^ Seriously, it sounds as if some people are emotionally wounded that Stoya barely makes any porn anymore. To be perfectly honest, it's quite creepy how overly attached some people seem to be. She owes no one anything. She made plenty of good movies in the past, so much so that if she did formally retire, she's left a very good legacy. If she doesn't want to make porn every friggin' month, that's her business. She should do only what makes her happy. Everyone else should move on instead of whining.
^ agreed..Seems she likes the DP situation because it enables her to have another life outside of porn. She's East coast and it's a gig she that works for her. More power to her. Do I wish she made more movies, of course. But I'm thankful for what I get.
I really think Stoya would not have done porn at all if not for the flexibility that digital playground offers. She's done A LOT more in her career that the other DP girls(anal, DP, IR) and she did it because she wanted to and made it happen. If she really wanted to do scenes for other companies and be a free agent, i'm confident she would have found a way. But she didn't want that. I also think it's a little odd how angry people seem to be about this topic...Stoya does not owe you anything as a fan. And your comment about the quality of her movies is all just your opinion. Not sure how you think her movies seemingly appeal to no one. Some may not like her films, others may think her porn is just fine. The people who post on porn forums are only a fraction of the buying audience out there.
